OP’s parents didn’t think the whole thing through, the end results would’ve been the same either way. Think about it: (1) what would’ve happened if Scott got into another relationship? (2) what would’ve happened if Scott got someone pregnant? If Scott would’ve gotten a new partner, it would’ve been an immediate red flag when she finds out that he’s living with his ex-wife’s parents and his ex-wife is alive and well, they have no child(ren) together, and he has familial support. Let’s say if she bypassed that and gotten pregnant by him, OP’s parents would’ve drove her crazy by overstepping their boundaries and claiming the child to be their grandchild. At that point, Scott’s partner would’ve gave him an ultimatum to either cut them off or she leaves with the child. Scott would’ve cut them off because he got what he wanted and has no reason to keep in contact with them. So in the end, one of them would’ve cut the other off, it just so happens to be OP’s parents to do it first.

Scott sounds like he just wants a cookie cutter nuclear family. He doesn't want to be a father, he just wants kids. Probably some sort of "legacy" excuse😂 OP dodged a whole drone strike here
As someone who comes from a very fertile maternal gene pool that keeps its viable fertility well into late 40’s (Thank you, Ancestry!) these people perceiving pregnancy in one’s late 30’s as high risk is alien to me. 😐
For some who already had risky pregnancies at younger ages run the risk of having extremely high risks the older they get. Some women are so lucky to not have that issue like the women in your family but that is not the case for many.
That was me as a baby! I was born a month early after being induced because my mom’s bp was going out of control, and was JUST developed enough to dodge the NICU. According to my mom, I sucked down the whole newborn bottle fresh out and immediately started demanding more, much to everyone’s amusement. Suffice to say, little has changed, and I’d much rather be given food than material items, which my family takes full advantage of on birthdays/holidays 😂 I was so ready to come out and get something to eat I was ready to bring my mom down with me if they didn’t let me out right that instant!
I get the feeling that OPs parents play a big part in Scott not being able to find a new partner. Them brainwashing him into this entitlement, and being so much ‘better’ than OP probably carried over into his dating other women too. Plus I’d imagine it’s probably really weird to be told about how he regularly keeps in touch and stays with his ex wife’s parents. Then there’d probably have to be the explanation of the ex wife. Which probably led to a rant about how she was so selfish for wanting support after finding out about her infertility. Which probably gave A LOT of women the ick. Plus having two in laws tends to suck for a lot of people, having four would be twice as bad, ESPECIALLY if those ‘in laws’ are an ex’s parents, who are obviously terrible people. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not saying he was a “Great guy” who fell in with the wrong crowd, he’s 100% to blame for his actions and he must’ve believed OPs parents to some degree right off the bat to go along with it rather then standing up for OP. He sucks. I just think that OPs parents are like a poison that seems to ruin everyone that gets involved with them. They’re like a bad luck charm, destined to bring misfortune. Maybe they’re cursed lol. And they definitely took advantage of the couples relationship and personal turmoil in trying to deal with the fact that they’d struggle to have kids, to further their hatred of their daughter and get their ‘precious son.’
What are the chances if Scott had been attempting to date in the three years OP parents definitely tried getting involved and ruining any that he found
No do not take back your ex or parents. This is a test for you, you need to be strong. Do you want your daughter to go through what tour going through? They will also attack your daughter for not being a boy or turn her against you. If you really want to keep in touch with your parents they can meet you outside never connect with their Grandchild, you will see that they would call you selfish. Stay away you have a child worry about her and her future.
It's not your fault it's your parents fault because they ruined her life and they told her husband to leave her because she can't give them grandchildren and that's not right and they should pay for their actions and go to hell for what they have done to her and if you guys can't see that then you guys are delusional and they don't deserve anything for ruined her life and they told her husband to leave her because she can't give them grandchildren and you don't have to apologize for anything it's their fault not hers.
I feel so much for the OP. I have a deadbeat father who is religious and archaic AF and he actually is a parent to my half-brother. To this day, I struggle with the insecurity that he might have tried harder to be a part of my life if I had been born a boy because he is a father to my brother. Admittedly, he's emotionally abusive to my brother and abused his ex-girlfriends which is part of the reason why my parents split up as my mom didn't tolerate that behavior and I absolutely dodged a bullet, but his misogynistic views still hurt. He is slowly digging his own grave though and at this point a huge chunk of his family loathes him including me and we are all betting on the fact my brother will too once he's old enough to understand what is going on (we're 20 years apart and he's still a young kid), and that my father will die with only his wretched wife mourning after him if they're still together at that point as the only women who can tolerate him is a women who's equally toxic. I've actually tried to post my own story on Reddit but I exceeded the word count as adding all the context of the drama is just so much to go over.
This story makes no sense. If the parents had the money to pay Scott, why didn’t they just offer the money for IVF upfront to OP? This sounds like another crazy illogical AI story.
why is it with all these stories that told that when the parents fuck up with the kids and the kids go to therapy Shouldnt be the parents go to therapy ???
According to your family shouldn’t op’s mothers inability to have more children make her less of a woman than other women who can have multiple children? I don’t agree with the thinking I’m just wondering if their dad thought that about his wife. I’m sure mom would’ve offered to mother op’s husbands baby if she could’ve.
Man, the irony that the mother was also given crap by her MIL during her own pregnancy. Someone had the power and opportunity to break this cycle, but more often or not, people get suckered into that perceived position of power, hence why "breaking the cycle of mistreatment" is a lot easier said than done. As for the ex, I hate to say it, but people can be very easily bought over if someone was able to pull the right strings, and given how OP's parents really wanted a son, you need not be a rocket scientist to do the math. As for OP, if she has the finances, I strongly suggest moving away and closing this chapter in her life. There is no way the parents and ex will let this go so easily, and while it hurts to cut ties with the ex in-laws (who are pretty decent people), it's better to start fresh and not have any strings left for these wannabe puppeteers (mainly OP's parents and the ex) to pull at.
I find it weird that the ex husband is constantly with the parents even when he went to go visit a family member in the same street he was still with her parents

If OP really wanted a new start she should have moved further away than maybe an hour. And then she walked home knowing her parents and ex are a little crazy, and they found out where she lived. A restraining order can only do so much, if she really wants to protect herself and her child she needs real distance, or a least a new home where her ex doesn't know about.

I do not think it means what you think it means The word infertile. if you were truly infertile you would have zero children. You may have issues conceiving and carrying to term but that is not infertile. Your use of the word is off-putting.

If OP wasn't such a doormat, the story would've ended on minute 11
OP sounds like shes trying to get closure..
Closure is a thing
closure is for the weak
@@Appricotto Closure is for those who don't want to end up all bitter and disheartened
This is good
That nanny is a real one
100% it’s sound like an idea for a movie or Netflix show, not a real life story
People sometimes don't make any sense
why is it with all these stories that told that when the parents fuck up with the kids and the kids go to therapy
Shouldnt be the parents go to therapy ???
I missed the part of how she got pregnant, did she go through a clinic?
Yes IVF
@@alexisadams8753 thanks
According to your family shouldn’t op’s mothers inability to have more children make her less of a woman than other women who can have multiple children? I don’t agree with the thinking I’m just wondering if their dad thought that about his wife. I’m sure mom would’ve offered to mother op’s husbands baby if she could’ve.
OPs ex-husband and parents are complete toxic AHs!
Don't let them control your life it's not their decision it's your decision.
They know whr OP lives tho. Things with ppl like them might eacalate, thouhh i hope not.
I Would Never Want a MAN This Weak, Easily Manipulated.
He dumps you for not being able to have a baby, and wants to reconnect because she has a baby.wtf
Imagine being responsible financially and your dumb parents and dumb ex gets mad
The craze/demand for grandkids is stupid
FOR THEM.... FOR EFFING THEM??? Restraining order.
Scott clearly is a winner AHAAHHAHAHA
Imagine how any date goes once the divorce topic comes out and Scott give a hint about what happened and how his ex in-laws are still babying him.

it's obvious that they just saw kid and immediately oh you aren't useless anymore (I'm only on 7th minute of the video)
Please tell me you’re not defending the abusers in this story.
I wouldn't want Chasity holding or attending to my baby either with her chomo ssa🤢 Chrisean takes her child everywhere with her and I would too with "sisters" like that. I still believe Chrisean and am rooting for her💯
I do not think it means what you think it means
The word infertile.
if you were truly infertile you would have zero children.
You may have issues conceiving and carrying to term but that is not infertile.
Your use of the word is off-putting.
I love this vid
interesting story
cant wait for my daughter to grow up and give me the news that shes infertile so i can make it about me and then stop speaking to her
bud ive asking you a question i sent you a mail
She's in the wrong
anyone else turn to this channel when they have nothing good to watch?
Cool video 3m gang
Nah i would call my mother by her mother in law name. If you want to act exactly like her you be called her.
So her parents do act like they care about Scott but in reality they only see him for whatever hanging between his legs, I mean he is Still an trash person as he literally abonded his loving family and wife for shallow prizes
Ya'll know some of these stories are fake right?
What game is this?
Imagine if the baby op had was a boy
What culture is this story coming from?
'We tried for a very long time' WHAT, I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW THAT
are these stories even true?

For once, it's the right decision to pick a bear over a man 😉
Just pick this man, let parents think of him as their son.
Divorce. Go no contact.
Got rid of both of them and likely got a bunch of money out of it.
Bears statistically only kill one human every 6 years. Humans kill humans every hour. Humans are more dangerous.
