No kidding especially if they only based it one person’s hearsay. Very illegal. BUT suing former employers could make you seem like a liability to future employers no matter how in the wrong the other company was. Shitty catch 22.

@@Tzaddi15 In what way is OP slow? That was an absolutely insane situation to be in and even if her common sense didn't kick in right away to have her recording everything the first time around (because she was in literal shock it was even happening), she clearly had the common sense to go to work prepared with the correct and necessary documentation and recordings to prove it literally was hearsay. So no, OP isn't slow, she's coming to terms with having been severely emotionally and verbally abused, manipulated, gaslit and shamed for the majority of her life. Look up literally any study on the lasting effects that has into adulthood. Shame and fear are incredibly powerful emotions to overcome, but she did and she won, every time. Go troll somewhere else.

So many people are mad at her for not recording or calling her job from the first threat, but this is exactly why she didn't! From her most formative years, she's effectively been trained to "cower before the authority, or suffer the consequences"
That's probably also why she never bothered with her social life while at home and chose to study instead, since people can be lied to and manipulated, but books can't.

@bonnietelocole6777 then why laugh at her sister instead of let her believe she was fired? Also this is AI written I think. Or fiction. OK story though.

@@mary-janereallynotsarah684 Because she finally defeated the undefeatable
She won, after a lifetime of being told she never could.
I can't ever imagine the euphoria she felt in that moment.
That euphoria made her want to brag about finally winning against her golden child sister, proving to her that she can't have everything.
She had no clue just how badly this decision could turn out until it was too late.
We've already established here that victims of abuse are incapable of thinking clearly.
Asking them to do so before any amount of therapy is asking a pig to fly.
Also, I don't care whether or not this was written by AI. Real situations like this _do_ happen, and I'm actively choosing to believe this is a real story. Do not try to convince me otherwise, I will actively continue to choose to _not_ believe you.

Yep, I agree, I said the same thing. With people like that it is best to have as little interaction as possible, and in a situation like that definitely don't tell them of plans, or the next move, or what you've already done, or the effects that their actions have had. That could have spared her a lot of problems. Of course in the end the way that they behaved did end up hurting them, and benefiting her, so in this case at least everything worked out for the best.

Yeah, but it's probably also a symptom of the @buse she's suffered. She's been taught to kneel and cower, or suffer the wrath of the authority. With these being parental figures she's never met, it stands to reason she felt they would be at all similar to her parents.
It could also be that the court date allowed her to visit her BF for a few days, then fly right back for it, and CPS was either investigating during that trip, or waiting for the case results to conclude their investigation.
Either way, there's a lot of factors to consider. The elephant in the room being a lot of @buse and n3glect from her most formative years to now.
Victims do not think clearly or logically during their @buse. Asking them to is essentially the same as asking a pig to fly.

  • @Panwere36

The mother blatantly bought whole-heartedly into the lie that "good looking people should have life on easy mode" and this entire story shows that. The fact that the sister really thought that she would get away with what she did. The worst part is that the mother really thinks that her eldest daughter being a "sugar daddy's 304" is better than a daughter who did so much and made so much of her life.
Also, the fact that the nephews actually are being neglected/abused proves a lot. Her having others assault the OP absolutely proof that both the eldest daughter and the mother should be locked up for the rest of their lives. The "sugar daddy" also will be tainted forever, because the last thing a man like that wants is to be linked to a sociopath. *_It was a HUGE mistake her kidnapping her own kids, as it completely going to destroy the illusion of her "hot mess status" and that is a good thing!_* Resisting the arrest and assaulting cops just made it worse.
What amazes me is that any CPS investigation would be that "unresolved", and with all of that evidence it never should have. I am glad the OP went to the lengths she could. The fact the mother turned on her "favorite daughter" just to stay out of prison is really the cherry on the top of the cake. The shame of it is that she (the OP) was _the only person in that entire "family" fit to have custody!!!_ I am very happy for her and the two boys.. but that is a testament to how toxic entitled females can get.
But then.. what a poetic fate for the "golden child".. from a Sugar Daddy's 304 to life in prison. It doesn't get better than that.

I had a similar experience with custody back in the 1990s, but I was the child. 38:34
When I was around 5, I was S/A by my estranged mom's BF. We lived in a horrible apartment. Cockroaches on the walls, the overpowering smell of cheap cat litter, so unsurprisingly, she lost custody of us. She was giving the decision to side with her BF or stay with us (I don't know if they do this anymore), and she, like the horrible human being she was and still is, sided with her BF instead of her two children, 5 and 8. We were put into care of our grandma, and it took 8 whole years for her to adopt us and gain full custody because she kept appealing. I haven't spoken to her in 9 years and I don't plan to anytime soon.

When you spent a lifetime being made to feel lesser then, it's difficult not to gloat when it turnts out they are wrong. My aunt was the golden child who took that into parenting. She always made me feel lesser then her children, especially in comparison to her eldest daughter because we're only 6 months apart, both female and we somewhat have a resemblance being cousins. Her daughter too, treated me like shit because of it. As adults, I'm the one who has made the right choices whilst my cousin is like Op's sister, a college drop-out due to getting pregnant and stuck in an abusive marriage though if she's still anything like she used to be then she is definitely not innocent either and willing to throw hands right back. She physically assaulted me during like two or three birthday parties when we grew up, which I obviously never got an apology for. You cannot understand just how much I want to rub it in my aunt's face that her daughter became the person she always said I would become whilst I am doing well, finished college unlike her daughter and about to buy my first home whilst my cousin is drowning in debt. There's something about familial resentment and snapping out of an inferiority complex that just makes you want to cackle like a cartoon villain to your family's faces.
(And yes, thats why my UA-cam handle is Inferior Inferno as I changed my handle name which previously was dedicated to my deceased pet fish from years ago during a time where I was really struggling with my inferiority complex though I have made some progress)

I just watched the entire 40 minutes 💀
Essentially OPs sister went to a different country to visit a sugar daddy, OPs bf said to record the call of OPs sister threatening them with their job bc of false bipolar medication neglect claims, the sister went off on one on OP, proving that she's insane.
OP said they had called CPS and the sister went crazy, saying she was going to get on the first flight back and that op would regret it. Next day, sister was at ops door with her sugar daddy (op said he was like 6'5 300lbs) their mother being behind the SD. The SD assaulted op, taking the nephews in a car and driving off after the sister spat in ops face.
Op called the police afterwards, telling them everything what happened and a case was already open on their sister for previous charges against her.
Op took the sister to court and the sister attacked them after learning that they wanted to get custody of the nephews, providing she was unfit to be a parent towards them. She won the case, and OPs mother managed to get out of going to prison by putting the sister under the bus. (The sister got life in prison)

The mother's issue is that in her mind a woman's success is nased on her beauty. Sje probably gave up her future in pursuit of beauty. Seeing her "ugly" daugther become successful shows her how wrong she is and it aggravated her sense of self.

Call them your sons because because you’ve been more of a parent to them than their actual ones

It’s called “emotional manipulation “; this is when people treat differently vs how they view you. Strangers appreciate the rejected sister’s genuine and kind nature while her family abused and manipulated it for their needs. It’s hard to see because they say “Family” over anything but I need people to know family can be your first betrayal, heartbreak, abandonment, alienation, bullying, narcissistic parent etc! She didn’t betray her golden child she saved her independent narrative!

This can’t be done all the time, job responsibilities and as long as he was there to support her emotionally showed a lot being away from her. You only know one or two lines of him not his whole.
N if he was a monster he wouldn’t have supported during the custody battle since he got with someone who don’t have kids and he may not be ready to help or even help the kids

When the mother is mouthing off about changing the subject, you should just turn looking her right in the face and say "you can sit there and be quiet or you can go in the other room. The ADULTS are speaking." And then ignore her from there on.

Call the police. Tell LE what she threatened to do. Call 911 now or you are complicit to child abandonment. Stop expecting anything from mom & sis. They need the reality of LAW. Grow a spine. You are a push over.😮

Which prison is your sister exactly in? And what is the law with the least amount of prison sentence for breaking in that area? And what are some vulnerable parts of your sister's body? Just curious.
