      Dude that’s partly why I did it. First there was almost no videos on it, then there were a couple of guys actually telling people to run tap water over it in the sink.

    Helpful videos. I have one and never used it. Would it work to clean while still hot?

      I actually don’t know! I’ve never seen anyone suggest doing that, probably because it’s so hot to handle during that time. But if we’re being honest, I found the process of getting it up to temperature so tedious after a while that I stopped using it.
      The good thing is it can also be used as a cold serving dish for fruit, i cream, cheese and the like.

    Should you always use the same side? Can you clean and flip after each use?

    • @RonOnTheGrill
      @RonOnTheGrill  Рік тому

      Well, it’s all made from the same block so I suppose you can use either side. I’d definitely clean it after each use though.

      Lol! Yeah, this is actually a follow-up video to that one. Very cool! And you can totally use it inside too. Just gradually warm it up in the oven, then put it on the stove top and go for it.

    What is the purpose of a salt block...seasoning food???

    • @RonOnTheGrill
      @RonOnTheGrill  3 роки тому +1

      That’s exactly what it does! If you like Himalayan Pink Salt you’ll love what this does to pretty-much anything that’s normally cooked hot and fast over a short period of time. For the steaks it added a nice mild salt flavor. And it was evenly distributed throughout the whole steak, every bite the same. Really cool! I already have at least 3 more things I want to try on it.
