So when the blonde woman says there are very small amounts, she fails to mention that thats how trace elements/minerals are meant to be consumed otherwise they would be toxic to your body (hence the name 'trace'). There have not been any long term studies done on the effects of pink himalayan salt so any conclusions made in this video are pure opinion. A real scientist or 'expert' would have said... "There is no current evidence that pink himalayan salt has a positive effect on the body, yet the need for trace elements is substantiated in the current climate of the global food industry (food deserts, abundance of processing, etc.) which is why this product is trending. Further long term studies will need to be done in order for us to have a definitive answer on whether they have a positive, negative or no effect at all in the future." The people making this video obviously have negative bias towards this product, its seems they are trying to convince you its BS and just an IG trend when they have no evidence that it does or doesn't help.

I can taste the difference in salts. My wife thought I was crazy at first... Generic table salt has a more bitter, acidic taste. Gray salt has a more moist and bland taste, you'd think the taste was removed. Pink is the most well rounded, rich flavor without being acidic.
I am Indian. We have had pink salt before it was even known as pink salt (It was actually called black salt because it becomes black when in contact with moisture, which was common before air tight containers were popular)
I have both salts in my house right now and I can definitely say pink salt tastes much better than common salt!

A Doctor's take on this video:
Trace elements = meant to be consumed in extremely small amounts.
Further long term studies will need to be done in order for us to have a definitive answer on whether they have a positive, negative or no effect at all in the future."
The people making this video obviously have negative bias towards this product, its seems they are trying to convince you its BS and just an IG trend when they have no evidence that it does or doesn't help.
