Gee, I guess YOU could see exactly what you were doing when pulling the innards out of the helmet, but you had it pointed away from camera. I don't know any more than before watching.
I bought the Slim and have a Signet X which looks like the same liner but the way that Arai helmets have their liners the Slim's won't go back together properly. Don't buy a Slim if you are using the newer Arai's. I installed one on my HJC and it was perfect. Bought the Packtalk Bold as a replacement.
What about putting the liner back in? That helmet has the air extractor piece in the neck roll where the battery sits. Doesn't really look like it'll fit well

Did you use the sticky mount for the bold or slip it in the side?
The bold went on smoothly with the clip.
Yep -- some Arais like the Signet X have a set of rear vents where the Slim's battery pack is supposed to go, and because of that, won't fit.
Thanks for posting this. I’ve researched on and off for days trying to find *anything* about using a packtalk slim with a Signet-X.
Dude the camera doesn’t even show the placement of the speakers, wiring, etc. Terrible video.
I have the corsair x and arai has designed it where the speakers are installed inside of the foam of the cheek pads.
Nice... Every helmet is a little different and this was an old Arai.
Keith, I also have a Corsair-X helmet. Cardo doesn't list it as compatible, are you saying you installed a PackTalk Slim on your Corsair-X?
Bruce Swan yes I have installed the cardo in my helmet.
Good to go??? we never see the outcome of your work dude!!!

It fits fairly well however, it is tedious and for that reason we skipped over during the video.

This video should start at 2:21. We know what's in the box. We have it right in front of us.
