The whole Genesis ‘Invisible Touch’ album reminds me of my Dad when he was in his 20’s. He died in 2020 at the age of 55 from heart issues. He would blast this song, all of these, and the Brazilian SO LOUD in his 1990 Nissan Sentra that he got custom painted “money green”. I listen to these songs now with a heavy heavy heart and wishing I could still see my Dad listening to these in his red Corvette. He loved music and cars and I miss him very much💕

Wait until you hear their earlier stuff. Genesis intersects with mainstream pop with this album. I can't decide if that was just a coincidence, or if Genesis/Phil Collins had been moving music in this direction for years, setting themselves up to be on top by changing the musical tastes of the world to where they were going. Either way, they nailed it with this album, and were one of the biggest acts of 2021/2022 even though they are in their 70s. All hail Genesis.

I've loved this song ever since it came out and still love it but it does haunt me some times it reminds me of a time in life when I was in a detox trying to come off of alcohol, heroin and coke withdrawalling that I would not wish on my worst enemy. All I wanted to do was sleep the time away. This song kept playing in my head over and over again. I love this song so much but for the first thee days it was torture. But still here today and live listening to it over and over. How fucking powerful a song can be
