It's the first Mach 1 I've seen in Eruption Green. If you want to eliminate the prop rod. You can add hood struts eliminating it. Regarding your hood scoops. I believe they are partially open. Next time it rains or you wash your car. Check if water enters. I believe You can purchase full functional scoops from RTR vehicles. Regarding your Cup 2 tires. They can be terrible in the rain and have a short tread life especially when tracking it or after several smoky burnouts. Your Mach 1 is a Special Stang that became someone else's loss. Purchasing a green label Mach 1 without a markup is a hell of a deal. Congrats on your beautiful new Mach 1.
Well don't purchase open functional hood scoops, RTR or any brand. This Mach 1 has an open air element style Air Intake and the driver side is right under the open air filter. It is not a closed air box. Unless you not going to ever get the hood scoops wet. Go ahead an open those bad boys up. GT350 drivers have the same concern. GT350 owners say it's not much of an issue, still they do see residual water in their air box after washing or raining. Nothing to alarming depending on time spent getting wet. Ford remedied this by closing them off on the Mach 1.
I’ve got a 2021 MACH1 in Race Red . Manual transmission with the rear seat delete . Love this car . I put a set of the Michelin sport cup road tires on mine . I opted to buy a set of matching wheels on eBay so I’d have both sets . Enjoy !
I my Mach 1 with handling package in the mischievous purple. This eruption green and the purple are such steals for a color options. The purple shifts from a deep black to purple with red and brown tones and then to blue. Such good colors. Get the car ceramic coated, it does absolute wonders for metallic paints like ours. Makes the color pop so much more. The hood vents are indeed functional, if you open the hood you’ll see the cutout in the hood mat on the passenger side, driver side the mat is not cut open to provide a better seal for the cold air intake but it’s open on the hood. Glad the dealer was open and upfront with you about the front wheel lip! Few extra things for you to check is the adjustable camber plates for the front struts, it’s part of the handling package but sometimes gets missed. Also look in all the wheel wells and make sure the dealer removed the suspension blocks used on the coils to ship the car. It might still have them installed and it’s a common one for the dealer to miss, it’ll drop the car about another 1/2 inch all around. I live in Daytona Beach florida and the two times I’ve been caught out in the rain with my Mach 1 the cup 2’s have been pretty solid with the grip and I’ve been comfortable as long as I’m doing reserved/not aggressive driving. The “wet” mode really does great to make sure the rear end doesn’t break loose. Enjoy the ride bro! These cars are so nice and fun :)

Nice color and it looks fabulous. One thing I’d say though I own a 2020 pp2 (power pack level 2) these cup 2s are very sticky. I changed mine within 2 months otherwise I would have needed a new paint job. Regardless, you’ll need a pair of mud flaps up front to protect the paint. Enjoy 😊.
I have a 21’ Mach 1 I’ve put about 6k miles on it. Not really a fan of that green but to each his own. I tell people all the time I love the car but in my honest opinion I don’t think they’re worth the price. You’re basically paying 65 grand for a Mustang GT with a few minor additions. You’re paying for the Mach 1 badge.
I like the Shark Fin compared to the blob. I agree, prop rods suck and I already have hood struts to install when I get it home. My Eruption Green Mach1 with Handling Pack is being assembled at Flat Rock as I write this. I'm paying 2% Under Invoice, but I've been waiting since November 2021.

Apparently you have a lot of Mopar fans...... my 22 handling pack full option shipped from flat rock on July the 5th .... we have no idea where it is . I ended up with black but wanted orange like my 21 gt I'm trading in . Couldn't get it in orange . The grey trim on the plastic and wheels is called " magnetic ". I ordered the 10 speed and then changed to the tremec. I tried to get Ford to put the stripes in the trunk , but apparently they won't let a mach leave the factory without them. I'll keep the emblems but removing the stripes . I will nano tint the windows and ceramic coat everything . Especially the wheels . And yes........ I am an idiot !!!!! I also have a full build race/ street 03 cobra , An unmolested , like new Bullitt 08 , a " gotta have it green " 13 boss302 , and a 21 pp1 twister orange 10speed GT . My insurance company loves me . Anyway..... enjoy the ride , you'll be hooked !!!!!!!
Beautiful! That color is sick! Can't believe my black 14' GT is almost 10 freakin' years old now. The only things I would do is: lose the spoiler and replace the multi-lip front spoiler with a more cohesive 1 piece design. Also, paint all the splitters/ground effects body color. Maybe a cowl hood. Just my .02.
You are missing the front fender left and right fender flares that block the rocks that get tossed up . It is part of the HP package . You should call your sales consultant and have him reach out to parts . They may have them in
Congratulations. Just beautiful. Th Eruption green is a special color which carries a gold tint in it. Matching the color the only thing I will do is to change the colors of wheels to dark bronze / gold, something like that, I hope you get the picture.
Check to see your car has the adjustable strut top mounts, apparently many Mach 1s with the Handling Package did not have them installed when they left the Flat Rock factory, I have my dealer working on it, since a lot of dealers don’t see these cars, they aren’t very familiar with this option.
I just can't do a mustang without the Adaptive Cruise Control for the rest of my life. My spinal injury is just so bad that not having to hold down the peddle has been life changing for me as a driver. I wish they would have added it to the GT350 and Mach1. That's the only reason I never thought of buying one of these. But at least it's in all the trims of the new S650 mustangs. So far.

Hello Car Confections. Please let me know if you find those Michelin 4S's in the size you need. I have a 2017 GT with the PP. An all weather performance tire didn't arrive on market until 2018. I just had a suspension upgrade with Steeda. Lowered the car an inch, so naturally I wanted a wider stance than the 19X9 and 19X9.5 that came on the car. Well this was a no go, if I wanted to run an all weather tire like the Michelin or Pirelli's. So I went with spacers. I really like my wheels anyway, so it was a pian free decision. By the way, super nice Mustang, that Eruption Green is a head turner

they ship the wheel lips to parts when the car ships, my car is a loaded car 68800 manual window silver with Black Ricaro‘s handling package it shipped six weeks ago it’s still not at the dealer so it’s going from Michigan to Iowa and it’s still not at the dealer I’m sure the wheel lips are already in the dealer is parts department they need to be polled by the tech PDI in the car and installed the front lip I’m gonna have them leave that in the trunk because it’s too low to the ground for every day driving and having car shipped

My 21 mach 1 is fighter jet gray w handling package, 6 speed. ..I love this color! I may have gotten that color instead if it had been available. Get rid of the cup 2s, they are sticky but brutal. I switched mine to 4s michelins and it's so much better. Just sell the cup 2s before you put to many miles on them.

There are numerous things to mod on the car that will enhance the performance and driving experience. Steeda suspension upgrades don’t cost too much and will significantly improve the car over the Camaro. The rock steadiness of the Mach 1 will grow on you. Plus the 5.0 V8 sound firing order is pure muscle car sound. I have had 9 Corvettes and 17 Porsches and the Mach 1 can become a significant driver’s car. Enjoy the awesome Mach 1. It is a keeper ❤!!!!
It’s sad that Ford does not make the hood functional at this price. I’m a Ford fan but I hate how they do that sort of thing. If this was a Dodge performance car the hood would be functional.

Open the hood the heat extracting vents are functional you’ll see the opening on the inside of the hood.

The round antenna went away in ‘20, my early made ‘20 gt has a round one most the rest and the gt500’s got fins!

They switched the hockey puck antenna for the shark fin in late 2019 on all mustangs
