The thing about visibility is sometimes its better to see less on the highway, especially what is going on behind you. It is nice to just ignore what goes on back there.

Thank you for your experience report. After watching lots of videos, I was so hyped about the car that I went to see one in real life at a dealer. And I have to agree with you, I didn't feel any of the excitement that came from the videos. The car just seems inconsistent in design, especially in the interior. I left again without even the slightest desire to spend more time with the car.

Choice is the spice of life. We have a 2003 f150. AKA, The yard dog. Used for truck stuff. Wife has a 2022 Civic sport touring. Gets 30+ MPG. I recently got a 2025 Camry hybrid. 45 MPG. We're all good.

Wrong owner of a solid and well-engineered e-performance car. Apart from the limited range, the 5N is a blast in all other respects. Fit is solid, while finish could be better, but given the price-performance ratio, this is something most will be willing to overlook; I did.

Firstly, I think you bought the wrong colour. It looks amazing in pearlescent ecotronic grey. Range is 220 miles max. There is wheel judder at manoevering speeds at full lock and that’s why I too sold mine after 2 weeks of ownership !

Do any of those Diesel Generators providing consistent power to: EV Charging Stations use, DEF ? I have Not Seen that myself. Just curious as Diesel Trucks are required to by the “unelected”, EPA - after all 🤷🏼‍♂️⁉️

I like your attitude about cars. Your not trying to shove those EV's down everyone's throat. To each his own. I would debate you about how green the EV's are with the mining that it take to make those batteries. The forever chemicals that are left over that need to be in water to keep them from blowing around. The power plants that it takes to charge them up. My son has an EV Tesla 3, tried last night to charge it up on 110v and this morning it was only at 40% it was down to only 20% when he started. So that tells me it needs a dedicated 220 line. And you are correct that only 260 miles on that Charger is stupid. Plus with the Supreme Court and the Chevron decision, the EPA mandate falls on it face unless congress and the president signs off on it and with the way the voters in America not liking "Mandates", that would be political suicide. And the next group in congress would overturn that quick. Now you younger people might want that EV mandate, but you need to wait your turn. But what Dodge is coming out with first will fail as big as the Ford Edsel. The greenies it is suppose to attract are into power, in fact they want all cars with governors on them so they won't go faster than 60mph.

2024, across several different markets, should be called the "Year of 'Who is this for?'" Movies to video games to cars to streamed series... businesses have been creating products for which there are no customers.

EVs - 1) They're too expensive. EVs cost more than an equivalent ICE car, 2) EVs take far too long to fully charge, about an hour (or more), even on a fast charger, 3) Only the more expensive ones have a reasonable range, 4) They deliver very poor range in cold weather, 5) They depreciate far faster than gas cars, 6) They cost more to insure and repair (that's why Hertz has backed away from their plans to increase EV adoption), 7) They have a risk of catching fire when they are parked, often when charging, perhaps in your garage or under an apartment building. For example, 50 brand-new Rivian EVs just burned down in their factory parking lot. EV fires are almost impossible to extinguish and are extremely toxic, 8) EVs cost more to drive per mile than an efficient hybrid when charged on a public charger at the highway-robbery rates they charge for electricity. This is a serious problem for people who don’t own a place to put a home charger, 9) Sufficient public charging infrastructure doesn't yet exist. This sometimes results in extremely long queues at peak times (such as holidays), 10) There is insufficient electricity supply to support a complete switch to EVs. About 20% more electricity supply is needed but that's not planned or funded, 11) EVs use up tires faster, 12) EVs don’t have as large of an environmental benefit as claimed - they require massive amounts of mining to create batteries, battery production emits CO2, defective/degraded battery recycling is extremely difficult.

I just bought a very low mileage (26K) 2016 Colorado with a 3.6L ICE. With a 21-gallon tank I have a great range, just under 17 MPG in town and 28-29 MPG on the highway and I don't have to sweat looking for a gas station/charging location when traveling. I'm also able to use a 5-gallon gas can just in case I get stuck in a traffic jam in the California desert. Normally, I can fuel up and be back on the road in less that 10 minutes no matter what the temperature is.

Gosh help you if it cooks off in you garage or driving it. EVs are not environmentally friendly. You are a sheep. Go eat grass contaminated with pfas.😮😅
