thanks for watching the premier with me! I went live today on my instagram channel and showed this stuff off...don't miss my early streams with lots of copyright music in the background (LOL), cursing, and many tiny squares with photo's in them that depict my daily life. Follow me here instagram.com/meade916
I watched this Tahoe wayyyyy back in 2008-2009 in high school and its what got me super interested in bass......super cool to see the whole process of it being rebuilt again.....super rad cant wait to see it revamped fully and banging
Love the clean install. In some of my past big installs I ran the cable inside the frame of the vehicle hidden safely from the harsh elements. All truck and SUV frames are a C or box designed. The C style are easy to close up with light guage sheet metal. I miss working in the car audio industry full time. Only a hobby now.
For it to be just a wiring video I found in very interesting, people never really get to see what goes into these vehicles that we like/love so much.......great work!
I've used that crimp tool on much bigger wire. It is a time saver and a limb saver. It is quickly becoming an electrical industry standard. Even though its expensive as hell.
@@donmige81 I'm sure he uses it every day. defiantly worth it. Terminated high voltage panels, that thing has saved me hours. Your right though about average bass head affording in tboough.
Been watching your channel for years since I was still experimenting with bass in my parents and cousins rides 10 years ago to now being a full blown basshead
Judging by the High Tension Power Lines your running into that Electrical Substation, this is clearly going to be an SQ build! Holy shit on those power and ground wires.
😎🙌🏽 man this is gonna be more powerful than ever im glad your bring the Tahoe back to life this tahoe is a legend in your channel and also what brong me to your channel in the 1st place 👌🏼 cant wait
Steve got all the toys for the job. I work hard for what i got so i get it. Hard work pays off. But damn one day i hope to have a lot of the toys too someday.
DAMN!!! Way better than fighting with a box cutter... I smell a sponsor! LOL HVAC has gotten in to using more crimp fittings for the line sets. 1500 to 2000+ for a starter kit so I still use a torch and silver! Thanks for posting
I just wonder how difficult would it be to change the spark plugs that sit behind all that stuff lol I'm not trying to be negative towards this amazing build in any way. It's just a genuine question that popped in my head.
Steve: runs more cables in his car for his audio then most have in their entire house to four high power alternators. Also Steve: these double adapter terminals are a bit overkill.....
the bass is going to be much louder steve this is going to have some thump to it to bro keep up the work been here since the my eye popped out video and been subs since man i love all your videos bro good work as allways
Bro I’ve done all my systems grounds just like the way your talking about ! I even ran a ground all the way to the back years later to see if it made any difference and NO it didn’t make the less difference ! So I’ll keep using my frame as my main ground to my batteries and from the alt to the frame !
Yo man , I been watching your videos for a while and I think you do really great work, I would really like to come visit you sometime in the future, my name is Rick, I’ve built a few systems thru years , I even won a trophy back in 2002 it’s just a hobby for me, I used to help my son’s friends on their systems but anyway I really love your caddy awesome dude, I live in Pennsylvania, I hope I can take a road trip there someday, peace bro
We use a crimper like that on locomotive traction motor leads. Both ac and dc motors. Dc motors the copper core has to be at least the diameter of a quarter or larger. All I know is it sucked pulling 12 runs about 80ft long to re wire the motors

@@djdradp8baller2 not everyone who has a couple nice tools is sponsored and gets everything for free. Although with almost 800,000 subscribers i deserve it for the exposure i give them. But you guys are fucking hilarious though ill give you that. Remember these 2 words. FULL MSRP. Not even a coupon. Nothing.
go to the electrical supply house and order a cable tray, use some standoff screws and hook your positive wires on top strap with cable ties, then run the grounds the same way underneath and cable tie them the same way nice and neat.

That shit is mint dude!!👌🏼👌🏼cant wait to see it done!!!
Since the introduction of the CNC machines perfection has definitely been elevated.
That stripper was crazy. When he put it on the wire I felt like a kid seeing something new. That blew my mind!
Coring tool
This level of professionalism is truly godly....
4500$$ Crimper /Stripper tools . 10$ broken Heat gun . Fucking love it lol this channel is great
That wire stripper is badass. Never seen that before

Back at his home garage ...the days man
Really happy to see this ride getting some love reminds me of a happier time in my life when I first found this channel over 10 yrs ago
That last shot with all the wires zip tied and routed neatly was amazing! The whole under hood is a work of art.
thanks Johnny!
Dope video!!!! Crazy how I’ve been watching the build ever since the Tahoe was tan and when u used to work out of ur own garage. Good shit bro.
Im gonna have to say it that heat gun is the real MVP. Im loving all of this content with the new and improved tahoe.
14:20 - This man has ALL the cool toys and tools!
The people that disliked this video got their mobile system done at Best Buy
I didn’t dislike but I got mine from Walmart lmao
Or their Still just pist because they lost their jobs @ Circuit city & No one else will let them install car audio anywhere cause they Suckkk...
Lol I do mine myself no best buy or anybody else
its because they cant afford it😂
Or the audio express $1 install
That new Milwaukee set🤩

$1000+ for a cable crimper is more the. The average bass head can afford, it must be nice though!

Love seeing the Tohoe being revived! That Milwaukee crimper does some work!
Your quality can't be touched and your humility and respect can't be measured. Good job big bro!!!!
Look at those great tools.. I'm doing mine on the floor of my garage with a body hammer and punch. Nice work Steve!

Cable management at it’s finest! 😧 Great Job!! Keep up the good work!
Someday there is just going to be a 4 inch diameter copper bus bar from the front to the back.
Been watching this whole series and this is the sickest set-up ever!!!
Wassup Steve. Hope everyone is having a great day
Wow. Serious wire run. I love it. No lack in ground there. Maybe just one more. 😆 Can't wait to watch the battery wire up.
Masterful work ! Can’t wait to see more .
Industry leader in tools!! I my self own every singe tool they make, I don’t have that wire stripper one, but I have the pipe tools
I just wonder how difficult would it be to change the spark plugs that sit behind all that stuff lol
I'm not trying to be negative towards this amazing build in any way. It's just a genuine question that popped in my head.
Don’t spill brake fluid
So much force that the cables cold welded to the lug thats amazing
Man that is a ton of work but it is coming out so damn clean. Absolutely love it!
I'm really surprised meade doesnt have millions of subscribers.

Looking awesome man. Jealous of the crimper
Excellent. Strong work ethic. Super clean 👌
Glad to see the tahoe getting revamped...
What’s the mod to the wire stripper?
I was hoping to see that too but the screen went pitch black with Zero Sound. 🤷🏽♂️
Steve is telling us he is sponsored by Milwaukee lol
thats what IM saying! lol
how am i saying that when i paid FULL MSRP for everything and they have no idea i even exist? BZZZZZZ, WRONG. Try again. SMH

So where can I get the wire stripping bit fit drill
After seeing this... "l don't know anything about wiring."
Epic job !

Thumbs up, to the audio mad scientist.
What's the deal with that wire stripping tool?

Very well done..such a awesome build..
