I have been wanting one (or even better 2) of these subs for a long time. I found out that Jon at Skyhigh Audio had 4 of them in stock. So i pulled the trigger. I don't know what i am going to do with them YET. But it will be something fun! It could be anything from my van to my home theater system..who knows! Subscribe and you will see!

That's the Problem. They definitely don't Sound good at higher Bass frequencies.
@@timsteuerwald2207 Mate, they're not supposed to: musical they definitely are not. Musicality requires speed, tone and tempo and any drive unit above 15 or 16 inches usually tends to struggle with those factors: they are there to move huge quantities of air at ultra low and infrasonic frequencies.

An audio company called MAGNAT built a 30+ inch subwoofer years and years ago. I saw it at a hifi show in Heathrow. It was set into the bed of a pickup truck and a huge duct ran from the bed to into the back of the cab! Some lunatic has also put a 30 incher in the back of an Audi TT!

@@MW-sw7so Maybe. Would get better freq response, but let's be realistic. As big as these are, and response down to 10hz, if im using one (or two) of these in my house vented through a wall or floor, im not looking for response over 30hz. 😎😈
Also, look up the Phoenix gold cyclone. Long discontinued, but a very cool design for LOW frequency. Ive read about guys using a fan/rotor type design in their house for subsonics.
WOW was amazed by the sundown 24 in subs, those 33 in subs are insane!!!! Please do them justice!!!!! I will ne waiting to see their journey.....

I have a 27” Sub we made a vented 12cf box for back in the day. The one guy in the shop wanted to be in the box when we screwed the speaker down to see what it feels like to be in a functioning enclosed. We never did it cause the thing hurt just standing in front of it when it was playing with just a 600watt Earthquake driving it!

Long ago I worked for a store that had the 30" Clarion woofer wired up to our display. We had to warn the rest of the store before we would demo it. We live in a seismic zone and the office staff would get freaked out when the building started shaking. LOL.

Lol those are normal magnets actually, the pull isn't as crazy as the neodymium that alot of the smaller ones use but they don't need to use the super expensive stuff with that much space.
