I am glad these children were found but am a bit confused- aren't law enforcement officers and investigators supposed to be looking for missing and endangered children already?

Great police work...
It’s misleading to simply report the children as “missing”. This leads one to believe strangers have abducted 200 children when the reality is that they’ve usually been taken by a non-custodial parent.
