I love BOTM!! Some of my favorite books are The Last Time I Lied, Then She Was Gone, The Great Alone, Behind Her Eyes and The Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo.
I was actually inspired by your past videos to start a book of the month subscription for May. I got a free book for joining in late April. I chose The Silent Patient and How Not To Die Alone. Whether I stick with it or not is going to depend on how many I read. I don't want to just pile up unread books. Lol. Enjoyed this video. Love your channel.

I get so happy when I see an upload notification from you!! You introduced me to thrillers and now they're my fave books to read and I love you for it!!! Also, totally put The Mars Room on your TBR as well!! I read it last year and loved it!! It was also short listed for the Man Booker prize in 2018 and won a gold medal at the California Book Awards I believe! It's about a stripper who is sentenced to do time in prison for killing a customer of hers that turned into a stalker, and talks about how alot of the time, the prison system favours the abuser rather than the victim, it's a really good read!😊

Circe was out of my comfort zone too but I adored it! I got through it so fast. And I bought her other book The Song Of Acheilles(sp). I haven't read it yet but I'm excited to!
I read too much sci-fi, but it sounds like a great deal. And I need to get my recommendations from you first. You are my "Go To" authority on thrillers. Little Fires Everywhere, Behind Her Eyes to name a few; & I just finished No Exit. The Mars Room is next on my list.
The Blinds and Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstances are great, highly recommend! I've read Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstances twice and it was so worth it!

Ughhh, I know I'm so late, but I just read "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste NG and it was SO good! I also just watched your book talk for it, and I absolutely loved the ending. That was the second book I've read that you recommended, so now I find myself binge watching your channel. Hahaha!
Wow I didn't realise you had so many book of the month books! I defo agree with you that it should extend to other countries! I'd love some of these editions/books over in the UK
I love BOTM. My favorite book so far that I have read, would have to be Stephen King's Sleeping Beauties. I saw that on your shelf as well ❤. I have one more book to go, until I am a bff. I always wanted to be an affiliate, I think that would be amazing. I also love how most of the covers feel. Thanks for sharing.

I love BOTM... have been with them for almost 3 years. I always get the thrillers but love there historical fiction as well! In the 3 years I've been with them I've only skipped 3 times. :)

I love BOTM. I’ve been subscribed to them for just over 2 years. Without them I would have probably never discovered Taylor Jenkins Reid. Seven Husbands was also my fav book of 2017, and booktube was super slow to catch on to the hype of it. Booktube discovered it in 2018, which I found funny because it had been out for over a year by that time. I also would have never discovered The Heart’s Invisible Furies, which I read this year and loved. I love BOTM! They now have a YA section on the site for add ons too. They are trying to expand.
They also offer a free add on in your birth month plus a free book in winter.

I too have a BOTM subscription!!! Of the ones you have not read I LOVED: The Child, Winter in Paradise, The Rules of Magic, and Nine Perfect Strangers to me was okay, not the best from Liane Moriarty but still good. I loathed: The Oracle Year, Since we Fell, and just could not for the love of God get into Ghosted!!!! Hopefully that helps you sift through your TBR to another 4 or 5 star read 😊
I didn’t like this month’s selections so I chose a BOTM member favorite Which is something they do now. I chose Things You Save in a Fire.

I just read The Blinds a couple of months ago and Loved it. I was mad that it had sat on my bookshelf so long before I read it!
I love BOTM :) I just became a “BFF.” I have found some of my all time favorites using Book of the Month Club. You should still read Wonder by Emma Donaghue! That was the book I read that convinced me to start a subscription.

Of your unread I highly recommend Circe, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, and The Blinds.
Ive been considering it, but im torn because i will get busy and forget to pick. If you forget to pick do they send a random pick to you? Do you get charged that month if you forget to pick? I also found a great new local privately owned bookshop, and im torn between supporting them ( which is really expensive ) and buying cheaper books. Ugh. I buy all kinds of books. They have featured some AWESOME selections. You should read Miracle Creek. I just listened to it on audio, and it was really good!
LOVE Book of the Month club! I absolutely LOVED Circe - put it at the top of your list. It's amazing (and I don't typically enjoy historical fiction or fantasy)

I joined and cancelled my sub. I have so many books that I don't mind waiting a month to read the newest releases. I have been putting my holds at the library and the wait hasn't been that bad! Also, I hate "buying" a book that I dont know if I'm going to love. Plus their shipping was the worst :/

I've read Still Lives. I read it probably a year ago now. I remember almost nothing about it. It's a short book and yet it took me a while to get through, so I'm not surprised you've had a hard time getting into it. Overall I think it was okay. I gave it 3 stars at the time. It's nothing ground breaking. Overall forgettable.

I agree and I love thrillers. I'd wish they do 5 different genres every month. So if they did a mystery they wouldn't also do a thriller since they are similar.

Literally the only thing I don’t like about BOTM is the logos that they put on the spine and cover of the books. I feel as though it ruins the look of the book covers. Besides that, this subscription seems great!
