This is definitely a band that did not have a bad song. This is a very happy and playful song. I also would love to see you react to "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". Thanks for another great reaction!!
Hello ladies, hope you're doing well 🖤 To give you some context, CCR got home from a tour (Illinois). Frontman, John Fogarty, immediately went to the backyard where his young son was running around, laughing and playing with these imaginary creatures. Seeing this made John so happy, the song basically wrote itself there and then.
Song is written by John from the perspective of a child's view.. honoring his child. You young ladies are sweet and have great positive energy. I bet your parents are very proud of you. Continued success!
Great rabbit hole to dive down ladies!! Gotta check out “Fortunate Son”, “Run Through The Jungle”, “Who’ll Stop The Rain”, “Up Around The Bend”, “Born On The Bayou”, “Green River” are just to name a few!! Love what you guys do and keep rockin!! 🤟🤟🤟
Can't go wrong with CCR music - a lot of those songs are use in movies - Thanks - Who's going to stop the Rain & Proud Mary & Heard it thru the Grapevine if you are looking for a few more of theirs
Great song. I was 12 when it came out. John Fogarty, the singer, says that he wrote the song for his son based on a Dr. Seuss book. It has been a favorite of mine since I bought the album in 74. Thanks for sharing.
This is the music I grew up listening to! 60s @ 70s! They’re so many great bands and songs from that era that still stand the test of time!🤘🤘🤘☮️☮️☮️ Happy to see you enjoy it so much.
In the late 1960's I went to a wedding and then a party where the band played CCR's Proud Mary. I actually thought then that it was a requirement for bands to play Proud Mary.
One of my very favorite CCR songs. I have always loved the sound John Fogerty gets during the first guitar break before "tambourines and elephants.." It's such a fat, Steve Cropper-like sound. Fogerty's ability to get a great guitar sound is underrated, perhaps overshadowed by his penchant for being able to write unbelievable songs.
Oh yeah?! Well, here you‘ve got MY favorites if you care: Down on the Corner Fortunate Son Long As I Can See The Light Tombstone Shadow Cotton Fields Pagan Baby Bad Moon Rising Proud Mary Up Around The Bend
Thank goodness they let themselves just be called CCR! I could never say the band's whole name as a kid. My dad would drive me crazy. So when he asked who sang this I said Doo doo doo part. A super fun song Never will I forget it!🥰
My All-time Favorite CCR song has to be ''Who'll stop the Rain''., The Doubling and Chorusing of voices during the main chorus lines were Beautifully done.
A fun light CCR song, but not among their greatest IMO. Fortunate Son is probably their most gripping, but there's also Bad Moon Rising, Born on the Bayou, Proud Mary, and Who Will Stop the Rain... Still, love your enthusiastic reaction!
Hi Girls, John Fogerty was CCR and they only lasted for about 5 years. A good song for you to react to would be "Green River", since John wrote all the music you could think he was a southern boy but he was from California
Wow, you have been busy last few days! :) I probably should know more CCR than I do, but for some reason they sort of passed me by, or I passed them by! They are a good band, whose tracks that I know of are good, so I really should seek a bit more out!
I love the extra stuff you do at the end of your videos. It's so funny and cute, ROFL!! One of my favorite CCR songs is Down On the Corner, jus' sayin'
Two other GREAT CCR songs to react to are “Sinister Purpose” and “Tombstone Shadow”. Both of these the CCR hardcore fans know well, but for some reason they were not big hit singles like “Proud Mary” or “Fortunate Son”. Of course, you can listen to every song on every CCR album and not be disappointed. There are also videos on UA-cam of CCR in concert that are great. They never had a fancy stage show, they didn’t need one because the music was enough.
Another great reaction from you two!! Every time I get to spend a few minutes on your channel it puts a smile on my face! Here are a few more songs by CCR for your song guy to check out for you: Long As I Can See The Light, Fortunate Son, Someday Never Comes, Run Through the Jungle, Hey Tonight and The Night Time Is The Right Time! Keep on doing what you are doing and watch your fan club continue to grow!!!! Peace!
I love to see you reacting all that songs. Many of these songs were an important part of my youth, they were "my songs" and it's beautiful to see that now they are yours too. I have two daughters younger than you and I hope they will live rock the same way you do it. I suggest you a handful of interesting songs for you to react: Los Fabulosos Cadillacs - ADRB (en busca eterna) -- They are probably the biggest band from all Latin America (they are argentinian). They mix rock with other genres like jazz, tango, ska, samba... This song is one of their best in my opinion. Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing -- A big classic from this british band. Long song. Rammstein - Morgenstern --- Yeah, a german band that sings in german. You won't understand anything but.... you have to hear this. They are great and their concerts are a big big show. Mastodon - Oblivion --- Actually my favourite metal band. All their albums are AAA. They got a top drummer and three of the members take turns on vocals (including the drummer) Greetings from Spain. You ROCK.
Great reaction to a classic song. If you want to explore their bluesy side check out their cover if Marvin Gaye's I Heard it on the Grapevine. It's really long though
What I like about you young ladies is that I get to see your faces light up when you hear a song that I grew up with (yeah I'm old, but not quite grandpa old). Anyways, sometimes we take those great old songs for granted, and you remind me why they we're special in the first place. Give yourselves a round of applause, oh and thank your Dad for helping you along
Hi Danas faith what a great song I believe John Fogarty was watching a parade from what I remember from his book I could be wrong its been a wile since i read it. I would highly recommend his book.
I was at the last show Creedence ever played. It was here in Denver and of course no one knew it would be their last show ever. John Fogerty has been recording and rocking ever since and played a show here at Red Rocks a few years ago, which I also attended. When this song came out a lot of folks couldn't quite make out some of the words, and when John sings it these days he likes to sing the mistaken lyric "tangerines and Elvis" instead of the correct "tambourines and elephants," which is a totally fun thing to do. Great reaction - I do love to see your smiles and happy clapping when a great rock song comes on. Check out the Red Rocks video and take note of how good his voice is 50 years later..... ua-cam.com/video/lTrGVg-dGew/v-deo.html
The lead singer is John Fogerty. In his later solo career he did a fun video called The Old Man Is Down The Road. Good song, great video. Another fun video along the same lines is Kitty by The Presidents Of The United States Of America (PUSA, for short) If you have not discovered PUSA yet, you are behind the times.
In light of the recent death of Metal Church singer Mike Howe, you should check out some more Metal Church. Their old stuff is good, but he had left and then rejoined the band a few years back, and the stuff they had been coming out with recently was kick-ass. I'd recommend By the Numbers or No Tomorrow. RIP - Mike Howe. :(
Great video and happy birthday month I have a request today August 1st is my birthday and I would like to request a reaction to Either Salem’s Fate, or promise Land or Seventh Heaven. All by The Raven Age, thank you ps y’all are awesome
I KNOW TGHERE IS REALLY NO REASON TO SAY THIS BUT I DO PLAY DRUMS GUITAR ECT IN THE 80'S AND 90'S WE HAD AFTER SCHOOL JAM SESSIONS AND LAST DAY OF SCHOOL PARTIES IN THE GARAGE OF FRIENDS IN THOSE DAYS IT WAS NOT ABOUT HEAVY DRUGS NOR THINGS LIKE THAT WE JUST HUNG AROUND AS FRIENDS AND GIRLFRIENDS A LITTLE FUN NOT LIKE TODAY ITS HARD FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION I AM GLAD YOU GUYS ARE DOING THINGS DIFFERENT I THINK YOU MENTIONED YOUR DAD WATCHING YOU GUYS VERY HAPPY TO HEAR THAT HAVE A GREAT FUTURE.
One of the crazier things in music history. John Fogerty was sued for copyright infringement when he released The old man down the road. The record label that had the rights to Run through the jungle (which he wrote) said it sounded too much like it. Look it up .
🤠 John Fogerty popularized flannel shirts decades before Grunge! 😂😂😂
This is definitely a band that did not have a bad song. This is a very happy and playful song. I also would love to see you react to "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". Thanks for another great reaction!!
This Is One Of My Favorite CCR Songs By Them
Hello ladies, hope you're doing well 🖤 To give you some context, CCR got home from a tour (Illinois). Another great CCR song is the Midnight Special.
The thing I hate about CCR....every song is so good I want them to be twice as long.
LOL! That is very true!
Creedence is why I started playing guitar, thanks to my grandpa for putting me on good music 😁. The first song I learned, was bad moon rising.
You two girls rock it. I love it. Keep up the awesome great work.
In the song they mentioned Buck Owens, he was a legendary Country Music singer who passed in 2006, his music was known as The Bakersfield sound
Y'all are impressing me that you would react to this great band. They ruled the airwaves awile back. We all had their records.

Great song. I was 12 when it came out. John Fogarty, the singer, says that he wrote the song for his son based on a Dr. Seuss book. It has been a favorite of mine since I bought the album in 74. Thanks for sharing.
Down time and time off from work is a sublime undertaking!
Super timeless tune from CCR.
Just wholesome music!
One of my favourite band when i was Young.

One of my very favorite CCR songs. I have always loved the sound John Fogerty gets during the first guitar break before "tambourines and elephants.." It's such a fat, Steve Cropper-like sound. The perfect song.

You definitely should! They litcherally have no bad songs

Hey guys new subscriber here! Love your reactions. I grew up on CCR (age25), please listen to either green river or born on the bayou!
If this song doesn't make you smile, you might be dead.
Listen Mungo Jerry..."In the summertime"
If it wasn't for imagination, we wouldn't have people on Mars today.
still don't have people on mars. lol
I enjoyed your reaction, I hope to hear more!
Another great song by them is Run Through The Jungle
All their songs are good
Really glad you two are branching out and seeking other sections of rock instead of just sticking to one single type like metal or hard rock

Another good one girls 😀
CCR lendários John forgert canta muito
"It's not every day that you turn into a whale."
I'd like to add something here, but that statement is just so complete . . . and so true
Could You React To Lodi By CCR That Be Nice To Hear. Thank ✌✌🤘
I can't hear this song without thinking of The Big Lebowski. They got my Credence tapes!
More CCR please
Enjoy your trip thru the 70's!
I can't think of a CCR tune I don't like, which is very unique. You might like CCR - Born on the Bayou. The vocals are hard drivin.
I love to see you reacting all that songs. Many of these songs were an important part of my youth, they were "my songs" and it's beautiful to see that now they are yours too. I have two daughters younger than you and I hope they will live rock the same way you do it.
I suggest you a handful of interesting songs for you to react:
Los Fabulosos Cadillacs - ADRB (en busca eterna) -- They are probably the biggest band from all Latin America (they are argentinian). They mix rock with other genres like jazz, tango, ska, samba... This song is one of their best in my opinion.

Greetings from Spain. You ROCK.
CCR..... Proud Mary

Please do Born on the Bayou is played also by CCR
Creedence Clearwater revival - *Born on the Bayou* please!
John's late brother Tom Fogerty looks like Ben Roethlisberger.
Hi Danas faith what a great song I believe John Fogarty was watching a parade from what I remember from his book I could be wrong its been a wile since i read it. I would highly recommend his book.
Children of Bodom do an awesome cover of this song, and they do it with a shot-for-shot remake of this video.
I was at the last show Creedence ever played. It was here in Denver and of course no one knew it would be their last show ever. John Fogerty has been recording and rocking ever since and played a show here at Red Rocks a few years ago, which I also attended. Keeping with the playful CCR, I'd recommend Willy and the Poor Boys.
BEST
Lodi is another great song you guys have gotta check out
Mia's dream about the whale reminds of Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe😁
Good to see young people appreciating good music. I heard he wrote this for his child but not sure if thata true .
Then there's the (very) scary Run Through The Jungle...
Correct me if I’m wrong isn’t that song about the Vietnam war
@@castlewhore2007 Doesn't mention it specifically, but it is viewed in that context.
Respect ! ✌️
CCR is my favorite band. Check out some of John Fogerty's solo songs.
Great video and happy birthday month I have a request today August 1st is my birthday and I would like to request a reaction to Either Salem’s Fate, or promise Land or Seventh Heaven. All by The Raven Age, thank you ps y’all are awesome

You gals got this song, contrary to one of the commenters here. I thought I might see you slapping your thigh as a form of dancing to this. :-)
Could u guys please do Winger-Headed For a Heartbreak…
Or "Born on the Bayou" another swampy song
Hi, hey Polk Salad Annie and Suspicious Minds, both from 1970, by Elvis
This is CCR's try at Lucy in the Sky with Diamons
The Beatles were Creedence fans!
YEE GIRLS.. Mia gets it LOL 😆😆 not too bad for an 11-year-old
