Back in the mid 80's, I had the hook up when it came to concert seating. My "reserved" seat was just above stage left, so that I was ten feet above the stage and able to see the stage as well as "behind the scenes" stuff. My memory of this show is that drummer Frank Beard broke the skin on his snare drum. Professional that he is-he never missed a beat. Meanwhile, a roadie slid on his belly from under the large tarp behind Frank. He took the snare, replaced the skin, slid back in and replaced it. 98% of the audience never knew what happened.
Love me some ZZ TOP! Have always been a huge fan of them. Was very shocked and saddened with the news Dusty Hill passed away. I always thought this group would be around forever as they have made so many comebacks. This was one of my favorite songs. They sure put out some fantastic music over the decades. I am glad the two of you did this video reaction.. Nice tribute too! Keep going with ZZ TOP.....you will not be disappointed. Have a fantastic weekend. Love & Blessings! ❤️
It’s cool that you sisters are giving your condolences to Dusty’s family. When you two get the chance you must react to their first hit and signature song and my al time favorite ZZ Top song “La Grange”. When my then 4 year old son first heard la grange he said “turn it up daddy”! So of course it’s my son’s favorite ZZ Top song too.
Juliette and Mia know this simple truth: Every girl is crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man! LoL 🤣😆🤣 Y'all need to watch the official video now. Very funny.
This is from there album Eliminator there biggest selling album due in part of MTV. Dusty Hill also did vocals backup and main.... R.I.P Dusty.... Legend Always
ZZ Top has a 50 yr career playing blues and boogie rock in the 70's... modernizing their sound w/ electronics in the 80's, like this song... and having fun w/ it. Billy Gibbons (guitar/vocals) was friends w/ Jimi Hendrix in 1968 as a teen guitarist... When he put ZZ Top together in Texas w/ Frank Beard (drums) and Dusty Hill (bass/vocals) in '69... the Texas trio worked hard to build their career after their debut album in 1971. Dusty Hill gave the band a groove that few could match w/ Beard on drums... R.I.P.
Lemmy Kilmister was once asked if he wanted to become The Beatles when he first got into music. He replied: "Not really, I always wanted to be ZZ Top."
If you ever get the chance, I think you would really enjoy their official videos which are very entertaining. On the other hand, it is good to see you girls really listening to the song this way and focusing on the music and lyrics! Keep on rockin!
Soooooo Happy you girls did a tribute for ZZ Top. A great group with alot of great fun songs. If you watch Back to the Future 3, they have a small cameo. I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert. They were a big hit on MTV in the early years. As Always a great job girls. Juliet? I saw your last pic on UA-cam. You were definately a Sharp Dressed Girl. Anyway thanks for another trip down Memory Lane. Mia you have got some good rhythm going. I hope you are playing the drums.❤❤❤❤⚘⚘⚘⚘
You will see their LONG beards, funky hats, fancy embroidered coats, and they still look unique. Billy Gibbons is a strong guitarist and unique vocalist as well.
Y'alls head bops and Mia's air drumming are the cutest thing ever! I love y'all and I love this song too. One of my favorite ZZ Top songs. RIP Dusty Hill. Keep up with the great reactions and I hope to see y'all on your next live stream. Adios, hermanitas!
Great job girls! You need to take a day or two and check out all the music they’ve put out over the last 50 years. The Little Old Band From Texas! R.I.P Dusty
Always thought Dusty had the better voice. Then again, Arrested For Driving While Blind has always been my fav. RIP: Dusty.. That little band from Texas brought me so many great memories.
This is such a cool song. Watched you two pretty much from the beginning and it just gets better. Dana's Faith is always a fast click for me. So much variety and fun
Funtastic reaction girls. It's so nice to see you going crazy 'bout a sharp cool band. ZZ TOP are Blues Rock of the finest.... I saw them live and it was great. Try listen to "Rough Boy" and you gotta see them on video...they're something special. The video to "Sharp dressed man" is very cool and funny.... Stay safe girls \m/
As a die hard fan almost 40 years now, just wanted to say thank you. Y'all should check out more of their stuff. 50ish years of best music ever like their early bluesier with some rock to the rockinest bluesy sound! I promise Y'all will enjoy it. They have a very incredibly unique sound and they're down to earth. Recommend their documentary movie on Netflix it's great. Thanks again for honoring Dusty Hill. Great dude, met all of em couple years ago. Thanks C-
The "Eliminator" album and tour is what gained them the National and International superstar status, but they were VERY big down here in Texas well before that...I was there when they released their best albums, too.
You should have watched the official music video. You would have seen the band plus a cool video story. If you watch, "Back To The Future III", ZZ Top has a cameo appearance. R.I.P. Dusty.✌❤🌹
Can't go wrong with Zz Top. This album was all over the radio when it came out. Check out I'm bad I'm nationwide, My head's in Mississippi, Lagrange, Beer drinkers and Hell Raisers , Got me under pressure, Cheap sunglasses. Dusty Hill sang lead on Tush. Texas blues rock at it's best.
Hi Girls, this is a great song for their Blues based style of Texas Rock. When I first heard of ZZ Top I liked that the only guy without a beard is Frank Beard LOL
You mention the sunglasses which are definitely a part of their live personae - they always wear them when they're playing a live show. I saw them last month and will again in December, and have many times through the years and they always wear them. They even have a hit song with a fun video you should react to in which they sing about their Cheap Sunglasses. You ladies are fun!
You don't get that type of sound from three guys unless everyone of them are top notch musicians. That's Texas Boogie right there. Sorta Rock, sorta Blues, heavy on the Boogie. If you asked them to describe their genre, Dusty always said ,"we're a Texas Boogie Band ". He was a proud Texan. RIP Dusty. We love you and miss you here in Texas. Nobody will ever replace you.
I like lisent song with group BBoston - Foreplay / Long Time, thank you little fiends, i love you reaction whit the classics rock... Saludos desde México :)
Hope you get to see some of there video's or clips of them live. The best lil ole band from Texas. They were together for 52 years with out ever having a line up change.
Ladies. Catch the official videos to this and "Give me all your lovin'". Their looks, style and the videos themselves put the whole music style in perspective. The drummer couldn't grow a beard as majestic as the boys on the guitars, so he changed his name to Frank Beard.
You ladies are so cool! Love this channel! Hey Mia, do you play drums? I'm asking because I've noticed you playing the air drums a lot lately. Thought you were shy in front of the camera, according to your very first video! ;-)
Wish you had seen the video of this song. That and their song Legs go together. And btw Frank Beard is the only member of the band that doesn't have one.
happy birthday mia. i was just watching a old q@a video of yours. dad made a apperance. maybe by accident. but hope you have a great day for your birthday. best wishes always. (high 5 and oreos)

Yes. I love ZZ Top. Cool reaction video. One of my favorite groups. The group Larkin Poe I have asked about have a song on the new Billy Gibbons album. Larkin Poe just played at The Grand Ol Opry in Nashville a couple of weekends ago with Billy Gibbons when the Opry was celebrating the music of ZZ Top. It was awesome. Dusty Hill was a great bass player and true American Badass. I appreciate this a lot Dana's Faith. Now if you could please tell me how much for a Larkin Poe and Samantha Fish reaction. Wishing you an awesome weekend. My favorite song by ZZ Top is Nasty Dogs And Funky Kings. The groove in that song is amazing.
You need to see the official video that was made for this song, this song was the early part of a new phase in ZZ Top's music, they produced multiple videos with a similar theme that were a big part of MTV when they featured music videos.
I have watched you girls react to the waning a few times as long as you're doing ZZ Top I'm bad and I'm Nationwide is the perfect song for you girls to react to... Because You 2 Girls Are Bad And Nationwide !!!

Thanks girls... "I Just Got Paid" today! That's also another one of their great songs also.
