Stellar review man! When I first saw your thumbnail I was taken aback and the Vaer Racing Chronograph immediately reminded me of the Omega Seamaster 'Soccer Timer' from the 70s. I think this Vaer watch is an amazing value proposition for those in love with that design language. Keep up the great work!

Totally has a quick set date function. Pull the crown out halfway and turn the crown. I was looking at the same watch, the 38mm diver. I have an 8 inch wrist put still like the midsized. One day I’ll own these two watches! ……Hopefully.
Oh, got it! I only turned the crown forward so it didn't work but turning it backwards works. Thank you!
I really wish the R1 didn't have 'American Assembly' printed on the dial. Man, me personally, it ruins the watch. If it didn't have it, I would have purchased this in a heartbeat.
Some of your their watches don't have it so maybe we might see it in a newer version?
Maybe! But, I think I talked myself in to it anyway with the ‘American Assembly’. I think I can get over it since I love the design so much.
