I think the weight above 250g is an additional downside, as regulation apply in a lot of countries.

It’s an entry drug to DJI ecosystem. For a reasonable price you can check if there are any real use cases of drones for you.

I mean weird that the FPV flight sims are pretty much the mmost basic first game dev unity game engine titles.... Also funny that you bashes that one simulator for having a ouytdated UI then preased the next for having a modern UI... When they are both the same stock unity UI that all games made on that engine are stuck with and yoiu must dedicate a ton of effort making it not look like normal unity UI... Which the vast majority of people don't do because it works well enough and none will really care as long as the rest of the project is good... Spo oded that you had that reaction to it given the UI you prassed as modern has the same lay out that was popular adacde ago now... Also I wonder why FPV sim devs bother with making a sim from the ground up on unity something only the OG KSP can handle with ease it seems... When they could even easier just make FPV drones, missions and assets for Microsoft flight sim 2020/2024 and upload them to the ingame market place... Not only is it one of the best flight sims of all time inturn of the flight part but it's also will get FPOV derone in more peoples hands as unolike a dedicated sim People mod and buy 3rd party premium aircraft all the time... So it would be a net positive for the FPV drone flying community unlike having a ton of dedicated sims that are no were as good as MSFS is now...

I can say...... It is basically indestructible. Not sure why you had issues with setup, I have one with the TBS RX, and use an imersion RC Analog plugged into my DJI FPV goggles. I flashed mine with emuflight, which is what I would suggest. And setup angle mode with very weak correction. in Acromode I can fly it outside, but there has to be zero wind. I like that I can setup my whooop race gates in my house, and my family doesn't freak out like they do when I have a 3" carbon fiber frame 4S drone going 50 mph through the house ahhahaha.

I personally bought a tinyhawk freestyle 2 bundle kit its a 2.5 carbonfiber frame an just upgraded the remote to the betafpv lite radio 2 se and changed the drone connecter to ec2 connecter bc i have 2s ec2 batters

I enjoy building, not to say i haven't had my rage inducing moment of despair once or twice, but it's been a long time since one of those. Looking at you FrSky e.e. Back then there weren't many good options for pre-built, there's a lot more now, though a bit pricey

Not sure if you are interested in this or not, but you can mount these directly to a BUMP/FAST helmet. The nice advantage of using the helmet is perfect fit using a quality adj. mount like a G24. And if you so desire, you can take that battery pack + power bank and mount that to helmet. I was seriously considering purchasing a set of these. But I heard a rumor that the "G4" will have internal camera built in so that you can also see outside of the goggles. If you are interested in mounting these on a helmet, there are a couple different companies making aftermarket parts to do so. One is $165 (3D printed PLA+) and the other is $350 yes, highway robbery (aluminum) or if you have your own 3D printer that is an option. Thank you for the video, really cool.

I think you forgot the beginner budget digital build that's less than 250g, which can be new or second-hand, and would go like: Goggles L ($200) VRX or second-hand DJI Goggles ($200-300) + Caddx VTX ($100-150) or second-hand DJI O3 ($150-200) + a 3" or 3.5" ($150-200) + the Pocket ($65) + a simulator, 18650 batteries, LiPo batteries, LiPo charger, some spare parts (more or less $150) = $700 total, or $800-900 at most with DJI Am I delusional?

I'd much prefer the 65$ controller, because if you have an expensive transmitter, you have to have an expensive receiver. I'd prefer the cheaper route.
