Any eta .. I’m debating on just an F1 should I wait ?
Hope to see a communication from xTool about a release date shortly. It really depends on what you are looking to engrave. There is really no harm in waiting on reviews to come out first, to help make your own decision. However, that is a pretty big savings if you were to put a $100 deposit down right now. Hope you stick around for my review. As always I just don’t sit next to the machine and show what I did. I go the extra mile with long testing, and sharing my settings. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Does the Laser head move up and down for focus? Or is locked?
Yeah the whole head moves up and down. Can be auto or manual focus
How do you have it already!! Also, i was wondering if you have an email I could talk to you at, I need to laser some stuff but cannot afford one so I thought I could ask if you could do it for me! Thanks ❤😊
Will this be able to cut deeper than the f1 specifically for silver
Yes! Considering the 1064nm on the Ultra is 10x more powerful
@@TripodsGarage sounds good to me!!!!
It looks great. Hard to justify the price for a hobbyist, but for a small business.. wow!
Yeah, I totally agree! This is more for the home\professional business market. Cannot wait to start testing it!
The scene where it was lasering biz cards with a conveyor belt made it seem like no alignment/jig was necessary.
Yeah! Seems that the alignment is done with the camera. The conveyor wasn’t included with the review laser. However, if xTool asks if I would like to review the conveyor, it would be a definite YES! I want to see this thing work!
I have the F1, I've put my deposit down on the Ultra.
Nice! The F1 is one my favorite lasers. Hope to have a review out soon for the Ultra. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Wow you got your hands on this bad boy. I like the lid on it.
When I was told that they had a new machine, I really was not expecting this! It is massive!
@@TripodsGarage Crazy, Is it very heavy? Would it be good to take to a craft show? I wonder
@@cubansli3099 - It weighs about 32.5 LBS - Just a little awkward to move around. However, it came packaged in nice foam with velcro straps. This foam protects the top and bottom and the straps go around the top and bottom. I would save these for transport. It would defiantly help protect the machine in transit.
@@TripodsGarage Thanks good point, can most likely pack in a tall case.
Drool drool drool............. You cruel cruel cruel laser tease!!!!!
Nice preview
I was drooling while taking it out of the box, almost slid 😂
Are the colors consistent?
The dream machine there !!! Greetings john andres here!!!
Hey Andres! Hope you are well? Yeah, I cannot wait to start doing some tests with this machine! I am pretty excited 👍
Yeah I really want to pull the trigger on this but $4k is a no go for me
I understand, it is pricey. A galvo fiber 20w (name brand'ish) will be around 2k for bare bones. You add the additional 455nm laser, smart camera, motorized Z, display, tons of ports, and other things, I can justify the price after the $900 discount.
@@TripodsGarage Bull you can get 20w fibre machines for $1599 that work with lightburn software.
Overpriced!!!
Guess it really depends on the buyer. Look what this laser offers over a standard bare bones 20w Fiber. A Raycus 20w is $1,800. Is it worth an additional $2,000(with the $900 off) if you were to add an additional 20w 455nm source, motorized Z, smart camera, light, external touchscreen, and miscellaneous odds and ends. Some might not agree, while other will. Like I won’t buy a luxury truck, when I only use my truck for hauling stuff. I don’t care about all the luxury items. While others want all the extras.
