How was tord able to use rad zard on his next turn to knock out the shuppet? Or did no one catch this cause the turn was pretty long?
he switched rad zard out
He used prime catcher to switch into pidgeot and then free retreat back into rad zard; when pokemon move to the bench, the effects placed on them (in this case not being able to attack the following turn) get cleared off
@@odnihs thank you for that explanation! Been playing this deck online for over a month and never knew I could do that. It simply states you cannot use combustion blast next turn. I know retreat will clear off special conditions. ( burned,confused,poisoned) but the attack litterally states it cannot use that attack next turn. Reading that I would think that would hold true, retreat or not, but that must be my inexperience showing.
Looks like a misplay. He couldve knocked out the tina with heat tackle 30 and finish off anyone with rad zard.
Wait, what? At 7:28, you can cut your own deck after your opponent cuts your deck? I've only played Yugioh before, but that's nuts.
You can only cut your own deck if your opponent shuffles it, if your opponent cuts the deck you can't re-shuffle or cut it.

Does anyone know how Tord attacks with radiant charizard in two consecutive turns? In his last three turns he attacks giratina v star with combustion and then the very next turn he attacks shuppet with combustion blast again. Is that legal because it was retreated or am I missing something? 1:01:17
Yes when you retreat the pokemon then the conditions for the attack reset.
All effects on a Pokemon other than damage disappear when it goes to the Bench.

Why tf is tord cutting his own deck after his op shuffles it? His op is cutting it when shuffling
you r allowed to cut your deck if your opponent shuffled it, but not if your opponent cut it
