It really depends on the specific projector itself. Projectors from the S2K/ TSX had pretty sharp cut off lines, and could be modified for more color band at cutoff line
These have been GREAT! alot more expensive, since you are placing an actual HID projector into the headlamp housing. But you much greater light output with very sharp cutoff line. These retrofits can run from $500-$1000+ depending on what you can do on your own. But its best to let the pros handle and warranty their work :)
Its definitely a DIY grille! I bought honeycomb mesh sheet from ebay, then trimmed the honeycomb sheet to the grille using a dremel cutting tool. Its currently held on by zip ties because i dont like using epoxies...lol
About $900 total! $320 for hid components. (Projectors, shrouds, hid bulbs/ballasts, and harness) then another $560 for labor install/retrofit! Totally worth it!!!!
@@FujiboHeavy Thank you for posting this video! I have a 05 forester and i hate the after market HID kits i was looking to change headlights and this is exactly what i was looking for.
@@hieptruong5222 awesome man! Best of luck! Yea Circuit Demon can really customize it for your liking! They do awesome work! Also I do recommend the morimoto 4TLR projectors, instead of the d2s 4.0 like I currently have on the Forester. Much better and sharper light output!
Just curious, do all projector lights have that jagged stepped cutoff line like that, instead of being one continuous smooth/straight cutoff line?

You sure thats for the SG Forester Models?

How well did these work long term
