Wow so you had no issue with them contacting the front high low separator trim piece? Ive always been told that the projectors won't fit and have to stick out the back of the housing a bunch on these split beams. Any issue with the pattern with the black bar there?
@@ZacsAutosports i saw in the video that you had them fitting pretty well did you only have to open that hole up enough to slide it in and use the mounting nut or did you have to do anything extra to secure the projector?
Great video, I would like to do this with my 03 Baja. Is there a single light housing that would fit my car? Or maybe I should ask how do I find which headlight assemblies would work with my car? Also did you wire this as a dual beam and disconnect the stock high beam bulb? Thanks for your time and expertise.
any 00-04 Legacy headlight housing should work, since they are all single beam, although maybe the GT are dual? Its wired as a single beam, so basically you're wiring it like the Legacy's 9007 bulb setup vs your dual H1, 9005 setup. I know on Subaru Outback forums you can find a wiring diagram and DIY. Hope this helps!
Yes, I enjoyed making it, since you have a GT with the dual bulb like the outback, I always recommend going to the single bulbs setup from a legacy L, that way you have much more room for the projector!

It was an absolute pain to get to fit and align, if I were to do it again, I would use the single beam legacy headlights
@@ZacsAutosports i have mine apart right now and im gonna get my projectors soon. What was the biggest issue you had
@@CuttinChris getting the projectors far enough back to not hit the lense

@@CuttinChris I noticed it was a vibrating a bit, so I secured it with a bit of butyl in a few spots, can't remember exactly where

Fantastic video, thank you for sharing!!!
Your welcome!
Great video! So would this work for my 03 legacy? It has separate bulbs for the high/low. I would like to think it would
Yes it would
what did you do for the h1 pos/ ground? since grinding down the bracket spot
The bulb is not grouded in that manner when you switch to HID's
@@ZacsAutosports i went ahead and went led since it had its own prongs. thank you though! next is my jdm hids if these do alright
Hello...wish you could be doing that and shipping to us. I have a 2001 GT wagon and those projectors could do justice

What about the High Beam? You still have a hole on the bottom of the Headlight assembly and you did not install a bulb in there
Still using the 9005 halogen for highbeam
Hello. What projectors are those?

There are quite a few from different sellers on Amazon but they mostly look the same
