This finger blanket tutorial is the BEST ON UA-cam!!! The only thing I can add to this video is to be sure to take a needle and matching thread and tack that yarn tail down real good at the beginning and ending loops. Beautiful Blanket! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️

Never made a board stich blanket and I will definitely make one. Thank you for this great tutorial.
I have a little tip for the first row knitting. If you turn the loop row you will see the bobbles. Make your stitches in the bobbles, then all the stitches around the blanket will be exactly the same.
Love your voice in all your video’s, you explain everything so calm and clear. Thank you. 🥰🧶🥰

FINALLY SOMEONE CAN EXPLAIN CLEARLY WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING!
Such a clear, concise step by step video! Ive been so frustrated with every single other video ive watched on how to do this - watched all of them at least a few times and was pausing playing and then rewinding constantly.
I watched this video literally one time and paused after watching what to do for each step AND I GOT IT PERFECT FIRST TIME.
Thank you thank you than you

Christina as I am watching you I am just thinking of my Uncle who use to knit. He would of loved your channel. He made very complicated stiches so I never followed in his footsteps. Also thinking of my Mum who just passed away this January. She use to make herself dresses and costumes all knitted and if she got sick of it un dobit and did another design😊. Hope next year I can go back and choose one of her knitted dress to bring back. Even if I am not going to wear it nice to have her near me. Thank you for this lovely video. I am not going to propisse I will do one but if I decide certainly let you know. Looks relatively easy. My problem was always with knitting I did the stiches very tight. Must learn to loosen up😊🫂

Thanks for that clear instruction! I always have to use so much brain power to keep track of that last/first stitch. I made one of these, but I decided to make it as a “scarf” for the end of my bed. So it drapes across my Queen sized bed, but only at the foot. I used wool. That thing turned out so heavy that I can barely lift it!🤣 If you use it to cover yourself, it is like one of those weighted blankets. Yours looks much more cozy and soft! 🥰

I love the way you teach; you break it down into simples steps and even smoothen my childhood trauma with the ends dropping. LOL! That was my most frustrating experience with crochet. I wanted to create an heirloom piece for my family. Hope to post it here one day!

Good afternoon Christina, it was a great video, especially you showing us a new pattern stich and the many uses of this project. I can imagine placing your feet on a soft luxurious blanket when starting out of bed. We can even make the colour match to the existing carpet or room décor. It was fun to see those hairy/furry babies having a good time and Hadley was so sweet to come and keep you company, I think he just wanted some comfort. It was lovely to see you start on the blanket project again, they are so warm and comforting. It is strange how when learning something new, we all have a different perspective of patterns. It was also good to show how to correct a incorrect stich without having to pull out all the work. It seems that our lovely warm season has now started as the temperatures were quite high, it was gorgeous weather, now we are all just waiting for the rains to start. It would be wonderful as it is quite dusty outside. I had to smile looking at the flames in the fireplace, then you know there is a change coming. I really hope the weather will not be too challenging in the Northern Hemisphere this season, we had very high spring tides in the Cape, along the shores, the waves were massive and they pushed wherever they wanted to go. Some of the swells were 9 metres and there was a wind chasing them on as well. It looked very scary as some cars suv's were parked on the usual parking areas and I think the tide pulled back some of them to sea. It does happen at intervals alas, this was an exceptional high tide. I think every 10 years or so. There was some talk about the moon having an effect on the tide as well, which is understandable. Thank you for the tutorial I am sure your dear sister would be so happy with her gift. Do take care, be alert many blessings. Kind regards, Elize.

I watched you when you first started to make these cozy blankets. I have made quite a few. I also taught my Grangirls how to make them. Now they are making pillows. Out of the yarn. Thanks for the insturctions. I was at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and a lady was looking at this yarn. She looked like what do i do with this. I ask her if she knew how to make the blankets. She said no, so the yarn I was purchasing, I opened one and showed here how to do the stitches. I also gave her your youtube channel and she was delighted. Thanks so much. God Bless.

This is the best explanation for the little things I could t figure out. That chain would always get very tight and smaller as I moved up! Thank you for working w Kacha on this-I think that was the best thing you could have done for your yarn tutorials-work with a beginner to see what they did wrong. I am almost done w my blanket but I will now undo it and go back with what I learned from here…I’d rather do it right and learn the correct way than to have it finished! ❤

Wow!!! What a great tutorial. Your clear precise instructions and your sweet calm voice made for great presentation and direction. I loved that front/back stitch you taught makes all the difference in the look of the throw. I love throws as a splash of color in my otherwise monochromatic modern farmhouse look. Or in the creams as a layering piece. Thank you for showing us your sweet friend as she learned, really helped to be aware of common mistakes. Like chalk painting I review several videos before I start a project to be sure I absolutely know what I’m doing and your video has been the best out of the 25’or so I’ve seen. I will send a pic of the finished product. Thank you again. 🎉

I have arthritis and can't get in the floor, I was using a navy blue for my son and doing the huge blanket. I got so far with my body hurting and when I picked it up there were many mistakes you can only see from the other side. I get it, I don't have light, I was struggling in pain and had a very uncomfortable place to work on it. Now I have to unravel 6 hours of work. I'm so disappointed in myself.

That is such an awesome insight and as I am going to do this for my dear friends birthday 11/11❤ I love the different stitches you use because all the store bought ones are the 1 simple stitch. But yours are so much more beautiful and interesting. 😍😍
Thank you 😊 thsnk you so much!❤ I love your voice its so soothing and reassuring. Clear, easy to follow tutorials. I love the white pit bull!!! They are such great dogs! I have rescued them for 35 yrs. Of course I love your babies too ❤❤

Great idea to clamp it before screwing together❤️ I probably will use glue between the boards too. I was in your Amazon store living the retinol, hyaluronic, vit C serums. Too. 😍

Thank you so much for teaching us how to make blankets with our hands! I'm glad you did it together with your friend because I tried to make the small chenille pillows last spring and sure had to keep trying it over again as my loops were uneven and sometimes twisted. So, I wished you were by my side to help me see what I was doing wrong. This video inspired me to keep trying! Also, now I see that we may not have to unravel it to correct a mistake! You are a great instructor!!😊

Oh Christina what a beautiful cozy blanket, the perfect color for any decor. Fur babies feel the same, Lol❤ Loved how you were able to reverse the stich when you saw the error. I remember when my mom taught me how to crochet, I had to rip out so much of my hard work just to correct one error. My daughter is left handed & I'm right handed & teaching her this technique will go so much smoother & less complicated for the both of us. Less frustration & happy memories will create a beautiful blanket, I'm sure she'll treasure forever. Happy Fall 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

Wow! That term, border stitch (and it always is a knit stitch) explains a lot…where I may have gone off before. I did mine last winter using 9 skeins…36 stitches wide, since everyone wanted giant blankets! Also, my issue with this stitch was it being too loose overall and the single stitch blanket you did your other tutorial on turned out much better and tighter. The good news is I can always unravel the first ones I made and do them better! Loved the way you fixed a mistake so easily! Thanks, as always ❤
