Ina, I'm so glad you're vlogging Hygge month for November again. Your thoughts here, are so timely for myself and others in the USA, who are struggling with the results of our election and wondering what will become of our democracy in the years going forward. My woman's discussion group meets tomorrow to discuss Hope. I will share your thoughts on focusing on what we can control, and surrounding ourselves with things that bring us joy and contentment.
Thank YOU for much needed inspiration. I also find November to be a difficult month of transition from the abundant beauty of fall to the serene beauty of snowy winter where I live in Minnesota USA. I’m feeling a pronounced lack of hope this week and know that I must find comfort in my knitting and in my home.
Très jolie vidéo et très intéressante. Enfin une vidéo sur le Hygge qui est naturelle, réfléchie. Ta vidéo n’est pas une info-pub de décoration intérieure! Merci!
I have been knitting and spinning on my antique wheel after a year of neglect. I had just discovered a new hobby that I love very much. But when it starts getting cold, its comforting and heartwarming to feel that soft wool is your hands.❤ from Canada
Hi Ina. So glad to find you back for this November of Hygge. I totally agree with you. As we can't do anything about the darkness and cold, at least we can enjoy the nature and as we come back, knitting, hot beverages, candles and music. Your faded colorwork sweater is just gorgeous. Yhank you
Awwwwww I have been waiting for these vlogs ever since You had announced to do them. However hard life is now for me it doesn't matter, I can relax. I can cozy up with my mug of coffe forget about everything and just enjoy hygge time with You. Thank You!!!
Utterly delightful. You show all the small joys and coziness of embracing winter, with its short days. It can be such a creative time for knitters 😊 Love all the visuals of baking, candles, sunset walks.
So glad to see you back with Hygge November! You really helped me to embrace these dark months of the year and I enjoy them now. My family has flown and I live by myself with my two little terriers and a cat, but I still like to make my home cosy and comfortable and ready to “coorie-in” for the winter. Here in Scotland, surprisingly, we haven’t had a lot of rain so far this month, but it is still a bit damp and dreich, and dark too by 4.30-5.00pm. All the knits you chose for this video were just perfect for all the cosy feels. Especially the peachy fluff. My dogs always enjoy seeing Billy too. Sending warm hugs. 🤗
This is so lovely and calming. Thank you for reminding me of all I can be doing to help lift my mood and the mood of my family and to make our home a cosy comforting place, it’s so needed. ☕️ 🕯️ 🧶 🍰 💐
I live in Wisconsin, North America. Winter is upon us, and it is getting dark out earlier. Thanks for all the lovely reminders to enjoy the season and my knitting.
Ina, our usual November weather will be arriving later this week in Wisconsin USA. We have had an unusually warm fall, but the sunlight has lessened as always. I am grateful for your November hygge vlogs. They remind me that there is always beauty to be found that gray highlights so well. ❤
A heart warming concept to rejoyce in the mundane activities of our human lives ..I really enjoyed "sitting" by your fire side and your projects are so beautiful thank you❤❤
Thank you for sharing your Hygge with us. I always look forward to this time with you. I’m trying to finish up my summer knitting so I can get on with holiday gift knits. Which will be mostly fingerless mitts. Here where I live in Arizona we don’t really need gloves (unless you go up north to the snowy areas) so the fingerless mitts are perfect for walking the dog or driving and having that cold steering wheel in the morning. My friends look forward to a new pair each year.
Hi Ina, thanks so much for starting a new hygge serie, really really love when you make these. Can almost smell the rolls 😊 and the coffee, handpoured is the best! Great orange/pink sweater 😍😍. The fluffy project looks beautiful too! We are on holiday right now, celebrating our 42nd anniversary in the woods. Watching squirrels, walking crisp mornings, knitting on a sweater or a pair of socks .. happy! Take care, XXD
Your videos always bring me so much enjoyment. I've got my coffee and knitting , and a fire is going, so I'm ready to settle in and enjoy. Thank you, Ina
This is a lovely and inspiring video with lots of cozy reminders! Thank you for taking the time to make such cozy, enjoyable content for us knitters to knit along with. 🥰
Hallo Ina, your videos are very inspiring. I am very happy that I found your channel. Thank you for your effort. Many greetings from Germany from Claudia
In every way high quality vlog - really enjoyed the calmnes and beautiful home. Very stylish knitting aswell. Thank you very much from my dark november in Denmark.
This November I'll be doing Hygge with you! I watched your last years compilation and loved it. Casting on socks for everyone in my home, working on the "Goldwing" sweater for me and drinking all Bengal Spice tea and chocolate covered cashews I can get my hands on. Happy Hygge month
We’re just heading into the cold and dark time of year in Massachusetts. We have had a beautiful, and warm fall this year. I am looking forward to more candles, tea, and knitting, thank for this cozy vlog Ina❤
i am just learning about the hygge concept. thank u for encouraging us all to look into it. Peace & contentment is such a valuable goal in this jostled world. ur videos are very encouraging.
This video was such a happy surprise when I turned on my computer this morning, thank you and I'm so happy to spend November with you. I always love your hygge videos!🥰
Thank you very much Ina, for your wonderful instructions for a Hygge moment. I'll take it to heart. My parents have always done this well. I miss the cold, dark family months. I've often been annoyed that I somehow never manage to achieve these moments. This year it will work better. Have a nice time. Warm greetings Beate❤
I hope you’ll come back with a podcast to present all the beautiful knits I spied here - especially that beauty at the end (pink orange red and white color work sweater). As always love your hygge vlogs! Thank you for sharing your positivity with us !
I look forward to your One Month of Hygge podcasts! Thank you for the time you take to share this with us. I’m starting to weave again and loving it so much, but when the yarn arrives for the Christmas stockings I’ll be knitting my way through the month!
Such wise words Ina and lovely vlog. Each season has its beauty especially winter when we can embrace Hygge. Your colour work jumper at the end is gorgeous 😍
Thanks for your heartwarming video on a cold and grey November day, sitting with my knitting and a hot chocolate. ❤ If you can cope with the dark days, i feel encouraged that I will also be able to get over it. This year we break the gloom record here in the northern part of Bavaria. One month of fog already. So I feel enlightened and consoled and inspired by your wonderful thoughts and stunning crafts. 🙏🙏🙏❤️😎
Aww, thank you so much for your kind and heart warming words❤️ I’m confindent we both can make a cozy joyful month despite the tiring foggy darkness outside🙏🏻
Why a lovely podcast. Love your sentiments towards this time of year. I did have quite a bit of trouble hearing you in quite a few places with the music overlay though. Looking forward to seeing more of the knits.
Ina, I have been grieving following the election results in the US as many of my friends are. I’m extremely grateful for your episode. Abundant thanks, Eileen

Thanks💕 I do! The pink/orange sweater in the video is for my eldest (she’s 22). My youngest one is 11, he got a knitted blanket and a pair of hand knit socks earlier this year☺️
Hey Ina, I really enjoyed watching your Hygge episode! You gave a lot of good advice and I definitely will be doing a lot of what you said and I will also try to be more mindful of the time of the time of year as well as my thinking :). You probably have gotten this question a million times, but do you have the recipe for those buns? They look incredible 🤤
Thanks for your kind comment, I’m glad you found it helpful❤️ The recipe I always come back to is this one: trinesmatblogg.no/recipe/kanelsnurrer/ It never fails me! (Ps: There’s a British flag up left on the page for the English translation of the recipe😉)
Cool thanks. Oh I didn’t see the flag before you said something, I was already mentally preparing myself for Google Translate, but hey, I could also learn Norwegian, atleast enough to bake something 😆🤣 Be well ☺️🧶🫖
Hi Ina! What a lovely podcast!! What is the sweater you knit, at the end of your video - with the pinks, orange & white? I love the design and the colours? Also what is the pattern and the wool you used?

Lovely
Ina, what is the yarn for the pink/blue stripey socks, so pretty!
Austermann step 4 ply, colour 288😊
@@InaKnits thank you!
What is the pink and orange and white sweater you were wearing at the end of the video ?
Anny sweater from Skappel Oslo😊
❤❤❤
I think cold, wet, dark weather is cozy if I can stay home. If you have to leave home, drive, and come home in it, it is depressing after a few weeks.
I agree😊
