I have an 06 LBZ with 350k miles without much mods , I've owned it 6 months and have only replaced small things here and there from previous owners not doing maintenance (power steering pump, idler pulleys, belt , tie rods to name a few) nothing major as far as engine work goes! Truck turns on like it just came out the factory yesterday! Love these trucks

@@GarageWorxI’m in the market for an LBZ truck, should I be worried about ones north of 150k miles? I’m searching on carguru and there’s actually plenty of well priced deals from dealerships and most are under 200k miles, some of the better deals are over 200k miles tho, what should I look for?

@@_N4VE_ these trucks are at the age where most are going to be higher miles. Look at the overall condition. These trucks were prone to rot if driven in salt states. Look for leaks, exhaust haze at idle when warm, any indication of power adders. Buy one if body is good and runs and shifts as it should.

@@GarageWorx well my issue is that i’m in hawaii, and shopping online at other dealerships for one. So other than the pictures they provide I can’t really vouch for the running performance other than the sellers word. But buying from dealership at least makes me think they wouldn’t sell something about to blow…..i think?

69,000 low miles , that’s a keeper for sure. I have a 2001 Chevy 2500hd Duramax lb7 with only 95,000 rust free been garage kept and no body damage never been repainted. Paint shines like new.

I also have an 06 LBZ with zero rust. Use it for just pulling 5th wheel during summer. EGR Deleted, 4" exhaust and tuned.

these trucks are meant to be driven. I have the same truck just under 90k. Bought brand new. The turbo veins will get sticky from sitting. Ask me how I know.... You need a lift pump TRUST me. Yes these are pre emissions but still have to make sure you keep EGR valve and cooler clean. Take apart and clean or ya know ... or delete.... original Brakes? thats hard to do even with yr low milage. Make sure to drop all fluids and replace. dont overlook the yearend and front diff. is the truck with $50K? dont know about that. But keep it another 16 and it will be for sure! also I would redo the front end with Kyrpobite. That steering box and bearing are trash. Bulletproof it and never do it again. rear seals and tans shaft seals are due. Truck master would enjo this for sure.
