Hey thanks I did my fog lights off this
Cool. Glad it helped!
Wrong always pull cover off all the way. Clean the case well of fialings and inspect for damage to chain and gears.
If you need to, yes.
Cybertruck 💨
Got the same model..same problem…thanks..and thanks for posting the replacement link
Thanks for watching!
My first sled. 1974 Jdx8 with slide. So many memories. Thank you.
Old sleds are so fun. Thanks for watching.
Nice build, I am enjoying all your vids on the JD sleds. I'm in the process of restoring my '82 Trailfire too. What skid and track are you running and are you using the JD cogs to run the new track? Thanks!
I think it's mid 90s polaris skid. Drivers are late 90s skidoo that I pressed on the John Deere shaft. Thanks for comment!
Any 121" track with 2.52" pitch will work.
Is it really this easy I have a 2019 but a 5th gen same concept ?
It's pretty easy. Should be the same thing.
@ it is … I’ll look into it thank you 💪
So with my van, it sounds like the window is going down but it doesn’t move at all. You can hear the noise though. Do you think it’s just stuck and needs to be put back on track? I don’t want to buy parts if I don’t have to lol would rather on take the door apart once
Don't know for sure. It's a common problem with these so more than likely it's the regulator.
Great vid. My girlfriend’s cv axle killed itself in a median the other day. Gonna fix it now.
Thanks for watching!
Great job on a DIY Instructional video. I kick myself - I was ignorant that these jump starters because I once owned a 2005 AC Delco jump starter. I was awarded the AC Delco jump starter for free for asking and answering a question when I attended the new auto buyer's seminar from the dealership where I bought my 2005 GMC Sierra. Years later in early 2019 I purchased a Super Start 1000 Amp Jump Starter - 55002 from Oh, Oh, O'Reilly's Auto Parts Store and last week I discovered that it is DEAD. I am nearly done disassembling the housing, so I can remove the battery and I hope I can find a replacement battery. In my humble opinion these portable jump starts are better than a membership with AAA or roadside assistance with USAA! I was really pissed off at USAA when I caught them tracking the number of times I used Roadside Assistance: it is a "sneaky method" that they use to increase your insurance premiums!
Thank you. These batteries are pretty standard so you should be able to find one.
@@GarageWorx I successfully disassembled the casing, but the small ring terminal snapped of while I was loosening the nut that kept the ground side of the boos cable to the post and battery. I think the wire is 22 AWG (?), hopefully I can cut the wire, splice the wire and crimp a new ring terminal.
@PappyNet01 you should be able to.
How is the plow mounted underneath to the frame?
I have a plow mount. All kfi brand.
What winch did you get,? Did it come with that new mail looking for one for my 99
Motoalliance viper 3000
that screw would`ve come out with an impact driver.
Possibly. I didn't have one at the time but have one now.
Mine did this too! It hasn't fallen completely off track but we ain't messing it. Ah, Dodge. Don't ever stop being this interesting.
Great Video!
Thanks!
Would you be open to selling the truck?
Sorry, not for sale.
When I took the cover off my light the rubber backing was sealed to the rear of the light. It didn't pull off I'd have to cut it and that had ne thinking I had to replace the entire thing. I thought the buld was the big glass part
I just got some last friday and so far there great smooth 👌 also in water cuts ✂️ like butter 🧈 price was not bad for all 4 tires with warranty ❤
Awesome. Mine are still going strong.
I laughed, because when my window made the same sound, I was looking all around for who threw something! I wasn't able to get that inside panel fully off, but I did get the window pulled up and taped it up. Thanks for linking the part; it should be here Sunday and then I can get it done.
My son was walking by when it happened and I asked him what hit the window! It's really not bad to install, just take your time.
I'm laughing too, it happened exactly the same. I was driving probably 20 mi/hr when I heard the sound, as if someone threw something. I pulled over to look, but nothing. Later it got hot in the day, and I tried to roll the window down but it too dropped like a rock. Now I have to take it to mechanic to have it repaired.
@moahmed527 love it
How have the felpro gaskets held up so far??
And how many miles on your van now?
Yes held up just fine.
Around 80,000 miles.
Just wondering if you figured out where that missing bolt went? I appear to have done the exact same thing. Is there a part that also attached to those threads?
Can you give me a time stamp to look in the video?
@@GarageWorx it was at about 8:50
. Ok. There is a small 8 or 10 mm bolt that goes in there. I did find it and installed. That one does not get the same torque. I just hand tightened so I didn't strip it.
@@GarageWorx Ok thank you. Not sure what ive done with mine so maybe ill just find something close if its not super crucial
Super helpful. Thank you.
Awesome. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. Like the other person said, nice tip to put the inner clip at 12 o'clock position. This is my project next week, waiting for the parts to come in.
Great to see folks saving money and fixing their own vehicles. Thanks for watching!
i just did this job a day ago. initially coated the splines (half shaft side, and the inner side of the mating end of the inner CV) with anti-seize. Would not go in. Once i got under car and dabbed a bunch of ATF onto it, it slid on easily with no effort. Hopefully this helps someone. The position of the inner clip did not seem to make any difference for me. One other thing. Removal of the old shaft was just a matter of pulling/yanking it out just like in this video. Its because (at least with the factory/OEM axles) there is a wire lock on the inside of the CV which prevents the tripod joint from exiting the cup. So you can just yank it out. This is definitely not necessarily true for other brands - like Toyota for example.
Thanks for the vid. Gonna do this job this weekend. Nice tip on the inner clip at 12 o'clock postion!
Hope the repair goes well! It really wasn't that bad of a job. Thanks for watching!
Nice addition, but maybe on the next one mount it factory style and tap the harness directly behind the plug. Just looks like you went into more effort than needed. Looking to do this to my suburban, didn’t know this was the OEM piece, nice.
Looks healthy.
its interesting. i just purchased the very last OEM passenger side axle shaft for the 2007-2009 Santa Fes with 2.7 V6, and 5 speed manual transmission (no more left in North America, and none left in South Korea). The shaft i purchased has a vibration damper on it. Thanks for making this video. Hopefully things go as easily as they did for you when i put this shaft on mine. i had to replace mine since my inner CV boot also tore.
Cool. Good luck on the install. It must be the exhaust heat that breaks down the inner boot. Thanks for watching!
@@GarageWorx Thanks. i have no idea why it did this. In addition to the new OEM axle shaft i bought a new support bearing and also a spare non OEM inner and outer CV. Another interesting is that the CV boots on the OEM shaft are much better quality than the ones on the spares. If you still have the OEM axle shaft, there are some German firms that make quality inner and outer CVs so that you can rebuild your OEM shaft back up (since it has the vibration damper). i have not heard much of anything good about the Chinese made ones. FEBI/Bilstein makes a quality outer CV joint for these, and Dekkert makes an inner. Unfortunately, GKN/Lobro doesn't make anything for the Hyundais (they are the OEM for Mercedes Benz and VW-Audi group). The OEM Hyundai axles are made by Kefco.
well things did not go easy... previous owner installed a camber bolt at the topmost position. Removed the nut for that, but it would not turn. Could not remove it either, despite massive sledging on the remaining stud. Trying to get it to turn, broke the head of the bolt clean off. Ended up having to drill through the remnant of the bolt, then Sawzall the bolt off on both side of the knuckle where it goes through, then remove the remnants of the bolt that were stuck in the steering knuckle. Essentially, moisture got in there and completely rusted the camber bolt to the knuckle causing it to seize. i had to drill the bolt all the way out to 1/2" drill size, and then dremel grind the rest of the way to get all remains of the cam bolt out. What a PITA. i would say, if you do this and you see that there is a camber bolt, that it is best to just remove the steering knuckle from the ball joint to avoid this nightmare.
Do you live in a road salt state?
@@GarageWorx Michigan. But it is not nearly as bad here as say in a state like NY. i take photos of the underside of my Santa Fe every year and it does not seem to rust. Except for that aftermarket camber bolt lol.
AlphaOBD is $50
That's not going to turn it on.
I bought a LOW miles (344) 2009 500 HO cheap in early 2020 just before used prices went nuts. Older couple (like us) only used it to go to and from their mountain house to the local bar on dirt roads. Still running the original rubber. It's been a great machine, I love it, and don't regret the purchase for one second though I wish it was green instead of red. It does have an annoying random metallic squeal in the driveline I haven't been able to identify, but hasn't failed yet. The only thing I've done other than routine maintenance (oil/filter/diffs/plug) is a new fuel pump (it would run dry if sat too long), new AGM battery, added a winch and rear bumper (getting ready to add that same ATV-Guru front) , and replaced the airbox to carb breather tube and filter. Tip on these carb models: If they sit too long, they are hard to prime the vacuum diaphragm fuel pump. Use some starter gas squirted in the intake and after it starts a few times, the pump should self prime. Choking it with a hand over the intake can help that prime. Not sure what year it changed, but my 2009 fuel shutoff is under that front cover below the headlight.
Had 2 of them in the 70s, one had a 396/375 Chevy and was badass
Gmc
Nice video. Where is this tool made?
More than likely China.
@@GarageWorx Thanks.
Beautiful 😊Car Man
My questions is hope u can help i have older arctic cat 440 with similar choke set up in the winter i pull my guts out summer 2nd pull.
Choke may need to be adjusted. It's technically an "enrichener" circuit. Maybe it's not opening all the way.
Years and years of vidoes... almost zero views, almoat zero subs. I see why you are such a miserable person in others' comments, your one of them folks who HATES others who do better than them. Youvare an internet loser.
I also have a hemi. When iou pit it into 8 right away, how does that effect normal acceleration? Doesnt it need to be in 1, then 2, then 3 so on so forth? How does it start accelerating in 8? Hopefilly i explained my question properly....
8 is just the max gear. It still starts in 1.
Why was it recalled?
I'm not exactly sure. I'm sure someone else will chime in but they probably decided to not enter the snowmobile market and didn't want any units out there they would have to support.
That is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time!!!
It was very cool. After I took the video it drove by and was just chugging along. Sounded so cool.

Thanks for the video. You can use the oil dipstick to check the level. Touch the bottom and directly below the safe zone for oil is the safe zone for transmission. Just imaging the same size as oil safe zone below it.
Thanks for watching!

😮😮😮😮😮 tremenda joyita 😊
Very nice! 👍
😁 jajajaja a cuántas chicas les invité a pasear con mi Pontiacaminar 🤫
Worthless video. Find better.
Since you installed this fix, have you seen any issues since? My brother is having this same problem and all the parts are almost $100 total, so if this works I'd much rather do this instead.
The couple of things that I've done for the cooling system seems to have worked. I've kept my eye on the coolant level and I have not needed to add any. See my other video in my Grand Caravan playlist.
@@GarageWorx Sounds great, thank you!
Would putting the unit in bypass mode 1:03 be enough to keep water from shooting out?
I'm not sure.
Thanks for the video, Im guessing it doesnt have a torque spec as i couldnt find it in the service manual. Do you know the size of the crush washer I should buy in case either the fill or drain leaks?
No torque spec. Don't know the size of washer. I've never replaced mine.
Looking to buy same year with plow also. How much did you pay?
