DUDE holy shit I went to school with this kid! He had dated a girl I'm friends with and I remember thinking he was a cool dude because he played guitar and was a fellow metalhead. This is bananas.
Not to be pessimistic, and yes I’m aware that things happen where people with internal mental health battles randomly decide to up and leave from their life; but this is so out of left field for someone given the circumstances to just drop everything and travel by car to the opposite side of the country just to leave his vehicle in the desert. What on earth, I could be wrong but it seems like something that would happen in a situation where there’s a car jacking and someone is forcing the person to drive to somewhere, then abandons the car.
Missing license plate suggest the car being Stolen. Just don't think it's his depression. Call the phone carrier, pressure the police,or get private investigation. I agree things don't add up. I hope this gates solved for him and the family.
@@kathleenwagner3259 I agree that’s exactly what I thought, he was a sweet kid from what I recall, he was pretty quiet. I can’t imagine right before Christmas he’d just decide to leave his family. They seemed to be close from what they’re saying. And Arizona I mean that’s the opposite side of the country from us, it’s just wild and I know they say people who end up offing themselves will typically continue on with business as usual like nothings wrong, but I mean idk, like you said with the tags it just seems really really off.. I really pray for answers here.
I watch a lot of these crime shows which means nothing, but I think this is a case of foul play. He was just spending time with his family and friends and appeared to be happy weeks and days before he disappeared. Why would he go pick up his prescription go to Chick-fil-A and do just regular running around errands and then just take off, then leave the car with no plate and 15 miles worth of gas in it with a note saying "hey whoever finds this car you can keep it?" I agree with the gentleman that $200 dollars is definitely not enough to get him 2000 miles to Arizona. I believe he was car-jacked, mugged, or something like that, near where he lives or near his home or hometown, and someone took his car for a joy ride across country and then pulled over maybe acting like they were broke down and possibly car-jacked someone else to get out of the desert. They probably took the plate and left a fake note to throw people off. I believe he is still near his hometown I would focus my search around the area he was last seen and start going all around looking at security cameras from houses banks gas stations and try and get a location on where his cell phone pinged at last? It would also be interesting to find out like the lady said if they did any forensics on the car like fingerprints hair and fiber collection. Don't they have a way to track the GPS history on vehicles now? But of course like every one else my thoughts are just a theory, but I hope he is found safe.
I'm unsure why my comment was removed moments ago after I shared the comparison to McCandless? You can do better than that, NewsNation. So, I'll say it again. This sounds like a copycat case of Christopher McCandless. McCandless drove from the east some 2,000 miles; abandoned his car in the Arizona desert; removed the plates; and left a note on his car which read "whoever finds the car can keep it - it's a good car". Reckon they should compare both cases because so far according to what's being shared on this story, the steps he's taken so far are identical to McCandless, all the way down to the written words "it's a good car".
Unlikely it was not NewsNation but the AI that rules YT. No need to go off on them. I don’t think they even monitor comments here. If you used a word on “the list” it would have been an automatic removal. This happens to me frequently now. I even got a notice last month that I’d been flagged for “Hate speech” and no matter how far I go back through my comments, I can’t find any “hate speech”. They won’t even tell you what you said to be flagged. As to McCandless, I kept thinking that this story seemed familiar, now I know why. Do you know if they disappeared in the same general area in AZ? That would be curious.
My heart goes out to the families of the missing. My prayers are with them. My younger step brother went missing in 2018. They found his truck burnt in the mountains west of Phoenix, Az. He was last seen at a gas station near his home.
There is a fellow that lives 4 miles from me. Who looks like Braonin. A lot. Lives by himself on remote desert. Can’t find a missing person site to look up more info.
“Remote desert”? I’ve never heard of such a thing is he squatting or making a camp in the desert somewhere? Are you in the area where the car was located?
@@crystalw9442 Yes, that is another meaning of his name and there are some other meanings depending upon origin locations and time period. He probably is no longer living and someone knows something. I don't think he committed suic..... Someone knows something. I hope his family finds closure and peace.
I was about to text about this name being very Irish and I see other have already pointed that out too in the comments. I also live in Maryland. I’m going to pray for this young man and his family ❤☘️🇮🇪
This guy talking about the situation is making far more assumptions than police. This man has no imagination and clearly something has happened in his past to cause him to think like this. Very clear that this kid disappeared himself
There are two encampments in AZ that teens to young adults run to. These are basically self governed communities because they are way out in the desert.
Has anyone ever been to these places to check on the people who are there? It’s not that far fetched and it’s very possible that he had enough of his mundane life and just wanted something else. I hope he is safe well and happy.
That’s a really great point. I think he may be secreted away money before he left. He may have been planning this. I hope that his family has answers, soon. ❤
If he abandoned his car and walked off into the desert, how far could he have gotten without food and water? It seems like a thorough grid search would yield remains or clothing. Also, were scent dogs used to track him?
I think Braonain is safe somewhere, he just doesn’t want to be found. He went visited all of the places that held significant importance then removed his tags after covering a certain distance. I’d bet he had also quietly stored food in his car and the $250 is used to hitch hike strategically dumping the car in the middle of the desert with no surveillance in sight to say where he went to afterwards.
So sorry. The: "not knowing " kills a person inside. Especially a mom. We miss our kids when we know where they are. I'm wondering if this has something to do with the missing Indigenous People or the people who keep coming up missing from camping and river areas. I don't know if it's the same person or 2 different serial killers, because the circumstances are so similar in a lot of these cases. The cases happen near reservations and wildlife areas. They always find the car and sometimes it looks like an accident, but it's not. There's over 5,000 missing Indigenous, alone. We have a couple of young people missing from our little town too. It's crazy.
True, but usually there is a very compelling reason to do so. It has been over 9 months since they found the car. I would be surprised if this case has a happy ending.
This is a fact! 2018 I had enough of the life I was living it was just so overwhelming and unbearable. I turned off my phone for 11 days and I went driving around to take care of myself for a change. Was it a bad idea? It was because I caused my children a lot of stress. But, it was necessary for me to get away from my circumstances. I hope he’s doing well
It's odd that he would leave two days before Christmas. Was the note in his handwriting? Maybe he picked up an acquaintance, murdered him and took the car. $200 isn't enough unless he had cash stockpiled.
My brother lives out by there and right around that time there was weird lights in the sky and military going in and out, don't know how they could of missed him.
I think he just gave up on life gone off to the dessert and let Mother Nature take him. He was sick, mental lillness is worse than we thought here in America. Poor Braonain, nobody helped him. Rest in Peace young man.
As the guest mentioned, the $200 he withdrew from the bank would have not been enough for even the gas let alone food and lodging on a cross country trip like that
Why hasn’t Md police traced his movements here before he left. Most of the places he went have cameras. How about the EZ passes going out that way. Gas stations. There should be cameras all along the way. This is a multi jurisdictional tracing.
B's car was scanned twice the entire trip it made, once in Illinois, and again in Las Vegas on Christmas day, somehow it was not scanned by any other cameras the entire way out there.
Look at the people who he worked with and see who has ties to Arizona. Someone who he worked with was involved for sure. That’s why he was on the schedule but didn’t call or go, I’m trying to tell you.
Unfortunately when someone is mentally ill they do a lot of things that make no sense. They need to search in a circle around the car, and they will likely find him.
It's an obvious suicide, in my opinion. I hate to say it, but he knew he'd only be taking a one-way trip, planned and final. I hope his family can accept that he likely is no longer alive. It seems to me that he was seeming 'happy' in his final days because he knew he wanted to enjoy his last days on earth and sometimes suicidal people are happiest when the weight of the world is gone and they make their final decision to let it all go.
The car can drive 400 miles full tank. That’s 5 fill ups for about 2000 miles. It costs 30-35 bucks to fill it up.The car has an average 35-40 mpg. He took out the right amount just for gas and like 15-20 for food.
Cases like this really bother me due to the fact that the young man struggled with depression most of his life. I’m a person who have struggles with depression for most of my life but that doesn’t mean I would leave my car in a strange place thousands of miles from my home and walk away from everyone I love. I would never do that. I find that when a person struggles with depression and goes missing it is automatically assumed by law enforcement that they simply walked away from their life and that nothing nefarious took place. That makes me mad because most times that is not case. This assuming people with depression just up and walk away from their lives needs to stop.
Or maybe someone took the car from him and his body could be any point from Maryland to AZ. They need to explore every situation. Seems like they are set that he drove to AZ. He may not been the one to drive car there.
This makes me think of the murder in Harford County Maryland. I know that there were several women that were murdered here in Maryland. One being a girl in Maryland at the Ma & Pa walking trail! Where a illegal alien, that supposedly killed her ended up in Arizona! How did he get there?? Something that should be looked into?
When our children choose to become estranged, nothing makes sense. Its absolute devastation on many lives. But the pain mothers feel is equal to death.
Hi, this is the first time I've watched your show, although I've watched many other NN shows and reports and whatnot. I've had a number of questions and thoughts pop into my head regarding this man, Broanian McGillis. How much money did he frequently have on his person as a rule? 0$, !0$, 50 or 100 $$$ ?? A Hyundai Accent gets about 38 mpg on the highway, about 32 mpg combined. 2,000 miles divided by 38 is about 53 gallons approx. would be required. The Mid-West average price per gallon in December 2023 , as best as I can find, was about $3.00 - $3.50. So that would be between $159 - $185 cost for gas to go those 2,000 miles. Oh and let's also assume he had at least a half tank to full tank of gas to start with. So add how much money he potentially had already and the $200 he withdrew from a cash machine, I think he would have likely had the funds to make the trip, get food, enter the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park and continue on his way. An individual can easily drive those 2,000 miles in 4 days and 3 days with some determination. I have a number of other thoughts and observations regarding this matter. I would be happy to expound and hypothesize further if you wish, but will only do so if you respond positively. Best Wishes to All and especially this young man and his Mother and family.
Okay, here's a few questions that probably only the Mother can answer. What clothes was he wearing at the time he went "missing"? Are there any clothes that appear to be missing or unaccounted for? Did he have any "Precious" or "Meaningful" trinkets, memorabilia or "Special" items that meant a lot to him or had good memories associated with a specific item? Are they accounted for or is one or more missing? Did he take one of his guitars with him or did he take an alternative musical instrument that might be smaller and easier to transport than a guitar" Are there any clothes missing, perhaps a favorite pair of pants, a shirt or jacket ? Are all of his clothes accounted for? Has he ever borrowed money from friends or family ? Today's World is All About Surveillance, there are cameras of every type out there in our daily lives. We can't go anywhere anymore without getting recorded somewhere and somehow. The roads that his car took to get all the way to Arizona had to have literally hundreds of cameras take his picture while he was in his car driving. Find him in the archives of those cities and agencies that operate those cameras, first of all. Then once his exact or most probable route is known see if there are an images of him in his car on the roads and see if there is anyone else in the car with him. If he did indeed go into the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park there are cameras galore, there. Did he meet or interact with anyone while in the Park? I could go much deeper but these are just a few of the things that came immediately to my mind after watching this report. Why is no one in a place to investigate this, like the FBI, doing anything ? This whole thing has a foul smell associated with it and it's not getting any easier to stomach, if you know what I mean. Best Wishes to you Marni, the Mother and Family and all who read this. 😎👍
@@intrepidsoul9871 Patricia (his mom) can answer this more in depth if she sees this, I’ll answer what I can now I’m Braonain’s friend Lucas he was last seen wearing a blue zip up hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes, they believe he has his kiichi jacket with him. Somehow his car was scanned twice the entire distance he traveled, once going West on I-74 in Illinois on Dec 21st around 5:30pm (7:30pm EST), then it was scanned again in Las Vegas on Christmas day, both times it was scanned they could not tell who was driving the car. No footage of him was obtained from the Grand Canyon to know if he interacted with anyone at the park.
I have driven to AZ and it took me 3 days to get to my destination from ND. I have to agree with the points that the first person wrote. Did he take anything with him?
Perhaps whoever he was with they both went to the Grand canyon to pick somebody up. That person followed them where they took his license plate and put it on that person's car and left and did something with him. I really feel that this man was used has transportation to get out west
Visiting the meaningful sights around town, could be showing someone those spots. That is something you do with a visitor. Maybe met up with someone online? Did he take his guitar? That object would mean so much to him, he would have gifted it.
If he spent a lot of time on his computer the answers to a lot of questions is somewhere on that hard drive. If there are no clues on that hard drive he didn't leave on his own accord. Obvious key words to look for would be the Arizona the area of the abandoned vehicle name. Articles about survival articles about or how to disappear or start a knew life. Personally I would have that computer analyzed thoroughly and if I didn't find any of the above I would believe in my heart this was foul play.
6:09 Makes me think someone needed his car. The note was written just in case the "person" driving the car got pulled over within that 2000 miles. Swab the steering wheel and gear shift for DNA, run it through geneology. Go check those location before he left town, a bit more close.
Plate removal is suspicious, but he could have had more than $200 in his wallet, and this sounds similar to Chris McCandless story where he leaves his car in the desert and starts hiking.
He’s got to be out there but not likely alive. How far was he going to get with out food water knowledge of the area and survival skills. It’s now late summer. No way he could be alive.
Cult or human trafficking. Surely people realize how foolish into the wild was and that Chris Chandless was not a hero. He died because of stupidity. I don’t know anyone who would take a trip like that so unprepared for where they are going.
He could be living in the Phoenix or flagstaff area using a differnt name.. Did they check his social media? He had to have plan...coming that far from home is not a last minute impulsive decision.. he knew what he was doing..
12:10 There is no Forrest in or around Page, AZ. Nor is there an Interstate. Who is this 'investigator' who supposedly is knowledgeable enough to speak on this case who isn't even aware of the surrounding landscape?
They took off the license plate because clearly they were trying to prolong the identification of the car. There is clearer foul play. In this case, you don't go eating chick fil. A and then go missing two thousand miles away. And probably the family hasn't even seen the note.Because you could easily identify if that's his handwriting or not
Sounds like he ran away just like Chris McCandless. He also wrote a note about his car and took off license plates and left it in the dessert then hitchhiked to California
Adults do stuff and I'm going to tell you that it's non of your business unless they want it to be your business. I know people that disappear when they are sick of everything....they show up months later and act like they never left. ⚠️🤔
@ 13:15 Abandoned on the side of a road.. not just ANY road (busy)… but a SCENIC ROUTE (slow, less traffic, not busy road)… I think that small detail should be considered. And the BACK license plate was removed.. maybe both.. I believe there IS FOUL PLAY.. and that whoever did this tried to make it look as if HE JUST DECIDED TO DRUVE OFF AND KILL HIMSELF.. Removing the plate could be an attempt to DELAY THE CAR from being scanned… to DELAY from it being found by authorities most of all.. they probably HOPED that this car could be found by a local walking around, maybe a transient type? Or hitch hiker.. that would READ THE NOTE and JUSTIFY to themselves to take the vehicle.. then that drain could have it for a while.. it would also muddle any evidence of the ORIGINAL DRIVER (the abductor?) .. The car should have been THOROUGHLY investigated inside, collect fingerprints etc etc.. and see if an unknown person was driving. Why ABANDON the car at almost EMPTY? Well, if you are on a suicide mission.. driving across country to kill yourself.. you’d drive until the car ran out of gas.. if it’s an ABDUCTOR.. you’d abandon the car just before it stalls because it could stall, run out of gas etc in a busy area.. drawing police attention.. if you LET IT RUN OUT it’s “out of your control where it STOPS”.. if you stop short of running out.. you are CONTROLLING the outcome. I believe he was abducted.. and then the rest is a just an attempt to make it look like he left on his own accord..
This is the best reporter at the network. And her questions are spot on and the most significant series that they do. We don't have many shows. Unfortunately, that cover missing people and 9 × 510. If someone has suffered depression at 1 point in their life, they're often dismissed if they go missing. Oh, they went and committed suicide, they went and did this. Maura, Murray is a classic example. How many decades has she been missing? And there's clear foul play and for the years, she was dismissed as a student of troubled issues that just walked away in the snowy woods. It's so unfortunate how in this country, if you go missing your family unless have the resources and the time and strength to fight, you probably will never be found unless it's coincidental, very sad
I'm pretty sure I saw this kid Braonian at Ski Valley, Mt. Lemmon, AZ, outside of Tucson, today, Oct. 6, 2024. His face looks thinner than in these pictures, and he was with other young people, a girl with shoulder length dark brown hair and dark rim glasses, seemed a little older than him. His Eyes are very memorable. He and the girl, were asking me questions about Oktoberfest. His hair was cut , long on top and sides, 2" below his ears, wavy.
Please reach out to the authorites and report this sighting. We are from Maryland, not sure of what is near this location that may have cameras but maybe it's something they can look into.
Thank you so much for commenting, could you please reach out to Coconino County Sheriff's Office and report this possible sighting, also I know this is a long shot, but did you take any pictures throughout the day that you could possibly check and see if he is in the background of?
I am having hard time with the thought that it had something to do with his mental illness . 2,000 miles on $200 dollars . To me he never left town . I would be looking at every cam in town .
This sounds like a young man who got fed up and decided to get away from his family. He wouldn’t be the first young man to do it and who doesn’t want to be found.
I hate seeing a fellow Marylander go missing. Actually I hate seeing anyone go missing! My Prayers are always with you and I will always Have you all in my thoughts! ❤❤❤❤❤
Gosh, I really hope he’s ok somewhere and will be found. I’ve been looking at unidentified cases and saw a jacket he possibly had with him but that was before I was aware of his missing case. I can’t find where I saw that unidentified person case and jacket now.
Yep! Four tankfulls (approx. 50$ each) will take you 2000 miles on highways with his car! And who says he hadn't been saving cash before or purchased pre-paid cards here and there prior to leaving?
Dont assume that he removed the license plate. Someone else could have removed it. If he left without his meds he could have been in a really bad mental state by the time he left his car. If he was a gamer he may be back on there playing. Its not easy to get away from that habit.
@@lucasfrasier4814 i mapped out that location/mile marker. looks like a lil area to pull off and stop but otherwise a rando location. walking out seems like you would be seen on that road. unless you go on foot into that vast wilderness. 😢
This is bizarre. If he was suicidal, and didn’t tell anyone, then the $200 could have covered the cost of gas for a one way trip. Depending what kind of gas ⛽️ mileage that car gets. The note 📝 saying take good care of the car, and nothing else explaining why it was being abandoned, doesn’t make any sense. It certainly sounds suspicious. I would think 💭 this is a complete mystery
What crappy reporting. Sounds like you don't know anything about what investigators or law enforcement have or have not done. Sounds like you are just winging it and guessing and trying to make it look like nobody in law enforcement has asked the questions you're asking. I hope they find this young man, but you all need to do better about reporting what has already been looked into.
They are Native Americans- not Indians. This guy should know this and btw, the missing guy’s name is clearly Irish or Welsh. I don’t understand his opinion on the car being low on gas and how he thinks someone was called possibly to meet them and left car on side of road. IF and that’s a big if, that happened, why not tell them to bring gallons of gas in container and put in their gas tank and drive away in Braionan’s car instead of leaving it behind.
It is too bad there was no checking of gas station and convenience store locations along the most likely travelled routes to Arizona from Maryland to see if he or his car appeared in any survelliance videos. I know it is too late now but that really should have been a first priority if the police were at all interested in looking into this case. Of course it would require a lot of man power hours and that is not something most police forces have for this kind of work. It is far to easy to pass it off as a self disappearance case but I, like many others find it impossible for this young man to have travelled alone 2000 miles with no further trail of money withdrawn, no meal receipts, no gas purchase receipts etc. on his one withdrawal of $200.00.
co workers? Need video camera from work area parking lot. Was $200 withdrawal a normal thing for him? Was he needing that to buy something? Maybe a facebook market place buy? Lots of scamming done there. Should be able to back track video cameras from Grand Cameras. FBI involved yet? That is a must and ASAP.
The first thing I wondered was , where was the last place his phone pinged... ...if the police haven't checked this , then they're not serious about solving this case... ... don't rule out the possibility of police involvement...
Why does money always have to be the reason why some cases are solved or not? I’m a genetic genealogist and do work for free all the time. Why can’t investigators do the same for goodness sakes.
Maybe he filled his car up, drove as far as he could go until 'close' to an empty gas tank. He pulled over, left note, waited for someone who would pull over and give him a ride to wherever. And maybe he fell into foul play, maybe not. I pray that he is found. 🙏💗🙏
Or they could have told him to take out 200 cuz that would pay for the gas for him to get back home and then stole the car his body might even still be in Maryland for all anybody knows
Anything is possible here if he is the type of person who was on disability had his own income and could be easily manipulated someone could have asked him to lend him $200 and that's why he went to the bank. Secondly it could have been more than one person that did this but whoever wrote that note could have written it so that in hopes that somebody would take the car and get it off the road thinking that if they offered the car up for free and anybody could take it someone would easily take it. Also if he did live in Maryland in the southern part near route 13, on the Delmarva peninsula that car would have had to travel either over the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel south of the Delmarva peninsula or the Chesapeake bridge in the North part of Maryland. If that's the case then dated timestamp of travels. If only the police would have investigated this. Of course it could have been tracked. Another thing is you can go into a phone and most likely track house someone traveled. Most people do not know how to set their phones so that Google does not track them.
Even if he was planning on never coming back and intended to take his own life , why take the plates off. When the car was found what did they do with it, plz tell me they forensically investigated it and are trying to find the truth. I do have a great understanding of depression and anxiety that can affect you so deeply that you feel you want to disappear and unburden the world of you. There is no medication in this world that fixes a person’s past that helped too create the darkness of being deeply depressed. Faith, hope and love if you let it in is what helps with healing it , medicine just camouflages it and can make it worse and even dangerous if you stop taking it, I don’t anything and I pray for this man it’s not easy being you all the time. I hope his mother gets her truth of what happened to she seems like an amazing loving momma.
MD has two license plates on car. Front and back. Mother said only back plate was removed. If car was taken by someone else, possible the person didn't realize there was a Front plate also. Why would you only remove one plate?
He left. reminds me of McCandless story. He left, doubt anyone else involved! No foul play, this guy talking doesnt know what hes talking about! stirring the pot with nonsense. no foul play. he left on his own.
It’s possible the last place he was in was his hometown and the vehicle was taken. The plates are off because they were attached to him. Where is the cctv footage ??? Was he the one driving the car out of town ???😮😮😮
Also maybe he didn't want to let the car run completely out of gas so whoever found it could drive off, besides his mother did say he went to places that had personal meaning or nostalgia as if he wanted to see again for the last time... so i agree with you sometimes the sign is right in front of you and you just have to read it.
Young people underestimate how much money it costs to travel anywhere by car. Then the is the idea that he may have had cash already save for awhile and was using that.
His name is NOT Native American. You can’t get any more Gaelic than Braonain McGinnis
It’s definitely an Irish Gaelic name
I was just going to make this comment... Native American name🤦♀

Wow....the similarities are very odd indeed in the fact that your comment was removed tells me that you are over the target (?).
has this station contacted you and go look according to your information? If this channel does not use what you wrote shame on them.
This is exactly the first thing I thought of. Almost identical.
That is chilling.i think you are on to something for sure.

This is a sad story. I hope he's out there somewhere & makes his way home.
My heart goes out to the families of the missing. My prayers are with them. My younger step brother went missing in 2018. They found his truck burnt in the mountains west of Phoenix, Az. He was last seen at a gas station near his home.
Tragic. I pray for your families and others who are in similar circumstances.
Prayers for him
Truly sorry for your loss & that your family is suffering through this😢

Are you in the area where the car was located?
PLEASE CALL POLICE just to do a wellness visit and maybe identify this man.

His name is Irish and his first name means sorrow which is ironic. May the family find closure.
His Mom said in an interview they named him Braonain because his Dad is Irish and it means "drop of water".

Coconino county search and rescue searched the area well, they used drones, dogs, helicopters and had searchers on foot and found nothing.
@@lucasfrasier4814 how far was the vehicle from Navajo Bridge? What was the nearst MM on 89A?
Hard to find people missing in the desert, look at Daniel Robinson
I think Braonain is safe somewhere, he just doesn’t want to be found. He went visited all of the places that held significant importance then removed his tags after covering a certain distance. I’d bet he had also quietly stored food in his car and the $250 is used to hitch hike strategically dumping the car in the middle of the desert with no surveillance in sight to say where he went to afterwards.
@@AaronSmith-my2dh .... but 250$ in todays world means he will need money/supplies within a few weeks at best.
It's crazy.
Sometimes people go great lengths to disappear.
True, but usually there is a very compelling reason to do so. It has been over 9 months since they found the car. I would be surprised if this case has a happy ending.
He may be hiding out on one of those trails out there you can live yr round out there
This is a fact!

If he was a computer kid he could’ve been doing research on how to make himself disappear and get out of the life he was living. 👍
I did this as a young person give it a few months if nothing then get concerned.
It's odd that he would leave two days before Christmas. Was the note in his handwriting? Maybe he picked up an acquaintance, murdered him and took the car. $200 isn't enough unless he had cash stockpiled.
Exactly. I don't know why they're assuming that he just took 200 and decided to run away. You have to critically, think, is there foul play
He mite have had more cash in his pocket before he withdrew $200
My brother lives out by there and right around that time there was weird lights in the sky and military going in and out, don't know how they could of missed him.
I'm in Arizona and The Phoenix lights UFO flew over my head in 1997, yes, lots of unusual activity going on above and below ground here.
That is unbelievable that Maryland has not done all the appropriate procedures to find this young man .
That's how Maryland is.
I think he just gave up on life gone off to the dessert and let Mother Nature take him. He was sick, mental lillness is worse than we thought here in America. Poor Braonain, nobody helped him. Rest in Peace young man.
As the guest mentioned, the $200 he withdrew from the bank would have not been enough for even the gas let alone food and lodging on a cross country trip like that
Someone could have forced him to take the money out .
God love these precious people and their distraught families. Praying for their safety and return home.❤
Maybe he isn't ill l but just needed to try something adventurous hopefully he is alive and just traveling
Doesnt sound like he planned on disappearing if he picked up a prescription first
Important to keep up with normal actions.
Was a $200 withdrawal the usual. Certainly not enough to drive from Maryland to Arizona.
The car can drive 400 miles full tank. That’s 5 fill ups for about 2000 miles. It costs 30-35 bucks to fill it up.The car has an average 35-40 mpg. He took out the right amount just for gas and like 15-20 for food.
What's up with his phone records. Can they gps his location or his travel?
The phone has been dead or shut off since the day he disappeared.
Same! (And I'm sorry. We share a pain.🥰)💜💙💚

You are wonderful to do this breakdown of what may have happened him and also for the family.❤
That object would mean so much to him, he would have gifted it.
the cameras in Marley Station Mall show him alone, and no he did not take any of his guitar's.
Missing people cases are the most interesting to me. It's sad because there's a new one every day.
His family and friends and even the police have gone through the computer and found nothing.
6:09 Makes me think someone needed his car. The note was written just in case the "person" driving the car got pulled over within that 2000 miles. Swab the steering wheel and gear shift for DNA, run it through geneology. Go check those location before he left town, a bit more close.
They need to figure out who really wrote that note an match the handwriting too

Plate removal is suspicious, but he could have had more than $200 in his wallet, and this sounds similar to
Chris McCandless story where he leaves his car in the desert and starts hiking.
My thoughts exactly.

Abandoned on the side of a road.. not just ANY road (busy)… but a SCENIC ROUTE (slow, less traffic, not busy road)… I think that small detail should be considered.
I live in MD I guess this is why the case popped up? Anyway, first thoughts are he didn't drive his car there :( I hope he is found safe.

I am having hard time with the thought that it had something to do with his mental illness . 2,000 miles on $200 dollars . To me he never left town . I would be looking at every cam in town .
Seems more probable that someone else drove his car across country after he was out of the car.
This sounds like a young man who got fed up and decided to get away from his family. He wouldn’t be the first young man to do it and who doesn’t want to be found.

I did not think his theory made sense either ~ I think this young man was maybe having a mental health crisis
**** I've lived in Maryland for 1 year and this is the FIRST I've ever heard of this case!!!!
May God bless and keep this poor little boy ❤❤❤
Prayers for the family for answers and justice. Greetings from ohio

Maybe he saved money and set it aside before taking off with the $200 that he got from the ATM. Maybe he didn’t want someone to notice?
They should look at his bank withdrawals over several months. He may have had more than 200 on him.
Exactly what I thought
I’m sorry to say but most likely this was suicide 😢 you never know what A person mental health stands at A certain point in their life
The first thing I wondered was , where was the last place his phone pinged...
...if the police haven't checked this , then they're not serious about solving this case...
... don't rule out the possibility of police involvement...
Why does money always have to be the reason why some cases are solved or not? I’m a genetic genealogist and do work for free all the time. Why can’t investigators do the same for goodness sakes.
Foul play seems obvious to me.
How many of these cases have been investigated as human trafficking? Straight answers please.
Sounds like he offed himself.
It appears to be how some people behave before they do it.
Marley Station Mall is a sketchy place. You need to be aware when you are in the parking lot…. They need to start here and rule out foul play.
He took the plates to slow down investigation. I believe that was his thought why he took them.

Also maybe he didn't want to let the car run completely out of gas so whoever found it could drive off, besides his mother did say he went to places that had personal meaning or nostalgia as if he wanted to see again for the last time... so i agree with you sometimes the sign is right in front of you and you just have to read it.

He left a note in the car is it his handwriting. I don’t think it was stolen and taken to Arizona.
the family has yet to see the note, to confirm handwriting.
He doesn't look well in my opinion
He may not have planned on it but people change their mind as time goes on.
I bet he stopped his meds. Got robbed car jacked. Don’t think he ever made it to Arizona.
Young people underestimate how much money it costs to travel anywhere by car.
Then the is the idea that he may have had cash already save for awhile and was using that.
