Every time I’ve been locked up theirs always been a big country,absolutely 100% never fails,and a “too tall” and “slim” and “pops”, and theirs other staples but y’all already know em ✌️

When I was doing time in cook county, the shot caller if you will, of the AB (whites) was a 5’5 160 lb white dude who had hair almost like Joe dirt, but he gained his status through his blade work… dude could make some of the sharpest sickest knives, could use them too ..
It’s not how big you are
The scariest guys I've known were all tiny Mexicans. Crazy, savage, evil mfs. And the most solid dudes I met were the viking looking mfs who could probably rip me in half... Size definitely doesn't matter when it comes to people.
Idk size matters in close quarters like a small cell theirs nowhere to tuck in roll schuck and dive at! Can't use agility as good in small spaces!

When I got sent to Medium at WSP my first celly was a top dog with the Skins. He knew me from Camp from a few months prior. First thing he asked me was 'They didn't house you with the natives?" Three days later I eventually got my cell with another bro in the Hoop. But those three days before getting new housing was definitely entertaining as the skinhead guy was a solid guy.

I grew up in Kentucky, my father was in the military, we moved around a lot and in the end we ended up in Alaska. I was the only dude I knew in the biggest school in Anchorage that wasn't a Yankee and everybody including the staff called me country or a rhedneck. Apparently ya can't say rhedneck on UA-cam 🤷🏼. Now everybody wants to be one but not back in the 90s. AMERICAN BY BIRTH AND SOUTHERN BY THE GRACE OF GOD🇺🇲

Yeah my buddy's dad was ALKN or whatever. He showed us the signs and explained some of their rituals and whatever, seemed pretty weird to me even at the time as a dumb teen (I guess they have their own prayer?) Sounds more like a cult than a gang imo. They have a saying too, "a latin king's worst enemy is another latin king".

What you said about joining a gang almoat reminds me of this street crew I was part of when I was younger to join you had to fight the girls already in it but myself being best friends with the crew's main head I didn't have to fight no one she just let me join lol but I guess that join has a term never knew it meant I was blessed in.. I also saw that streetbeefs fight that dude at least had enough heart and respect to stand up and take his ass whooping a lot of times things like that can turn into a situation or you end up with a lifelong friend. I had this dude when I was in Middle School back in the 90s he was a couple streets away from me he was always talking shit okay man try to shove me from behind on my way to class I turned around and punched him in the face and the hallways were outside with these big wooden railing things I started socking his face into the wood. We both had to sit in the administration office and wait for our parents to show up and we both got suspended for a few days but after that we became really good friends. Unfortunately when I looked up to see what he was up to around 8 years ago he jumped off the Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle and killed himself. I hope he's in a better place now for whatever caused him to think he needed to do that.

Time wears on everyone, even family. For the first 3.5 yrs my family came every single week faithfully. Then by 5 yrs it was 1-2 a month and after seven 1 every cpl months. So don't be shocked when your friends act like they don't even know who you are. Do yourself a favor, if you have a girlfriend break up with her before you go to do your time. Trust me from experience, you DON'T want a girlfriend when you're locked up
