I really appreciate these behind the scene looks, especially when it is an incredible movie like “Prometheus.” To echo others, this movie is definitely underrated.

I think the story had great potential ... But apart from Shaw, the characters and their behaviours were written terribly. The entire crew are either unlikeable idiots, or they don't have enough screen time to register - like the co-pilots.
It was a prequal and it was a great movie. It was just kind of abandoned when it should have had a strong second act in Covenant. I think if Covenant delivered Prometheus would be more appreciated.
This is sooo good. I love how the Engineers have like an almost translucent glowing skin that feels like they were just born, or that they were not afraid to constantly improve themselves, and so their skin looks freshly new; always as if in some kind of state of transition.
Sir Ridley is a true legend. I can see why he can be a pain in the ass to work with, but its also what makes his movies soooo good. I would still love to meet him.

As an experience, YES. As a film?! It falls to peaces, horrific script do to numerous holes, lazy writing, flat characters, the great cast had little to nothing to work with.

Too the lazy crowbaring of Jesus and Christian influence with the engineers. The poster AND the intro are a fkn SPOILER for the reveal of the big moments in film they expect you to be surprised by. David behaves as if he's got a fkn split personality for no reason, as if Wayland would allow his mission to be compromised, among other idiotic decisions the characters made. Walking over DEAD aliens(engineers) and asking the 1st one they see wake up, hey, give me immortality is FKN INSANE logic. These engineers wanting to KILL us all, and calling us the violent ones is again, RIDICULOUS logic. And despite all of this and much more I still LOVE and enjoy the film, but the potential it had and never used is beyond tragic.
Ridley did a good job this movie re-creating the original vibe and eerie feeling i got from the first movie when they went aboard the alien craft. The strange holograms of the history and the overall history and origin of the spaceship from the original is captured here along with great music and he opens up many new stories and avenues for the place that the xenomorph came from.
So much dedication from Sir Ridley Scott. I can't believe his crew actually teamed up with Amazon/Blue Origin's interstellar research team and went to outer space just to find this Engineer alien for a role. That's true cinema right there!!
The Sculpting this Engineer is just facinating to watch. Down to the very pores on his body😮 it's just amazing to watch! Thanks to all who out this video together!
Its just totally amazing how with totally everybody coming together perfectly, we the viewers get to experience perfection in motion pictures. Amazing!

Because they refused to give what she want to extend her contract for 2nd movie. They just got angry and kill her character off, instead appreciated what she did in 1st movie.
I really found these military Engineers fascinating, particularly the suit, which seems to have direct continuity with the xenomorph in its blending of the biological and mechanical. They need more air time.
We have to remember that even when a movie doesn't quite hit its mark, there are still a HUGE number of people who contributed hours and hours of talented work towards the goal. Ridley Scott set the bar so high with the first "Alien" movie that it would have been nearly impossible for any director to come up with a prequel that made everyone happy.

See the ENTIRE CREW that let a zombie husk walk right up to the front of the ship without anyone noticing. See the dumb blonde at the end who runs in a straight line and gets smushed. See the pointless cowboy character whose only purpose is to die. And the best part? No Ripley character who survives till the next film: she becomes a corpse test subject for the android. What a terrible terrible series haha

I worked on this film (practical effects) and I thought the end result was pretty good. Shame the critics panned it so badly, it didn't seem deserved to me.
I met the actor who played the engineer at a con in Belfast some years ago, he is so tall that when you look at the photo we took together it looks like i'm sitting down and I was standing right next to him. He also played rolls in the Preditor and Game of Thrones.
I love all the art and effects work in this movie. The only thing I would say is that I think the Engineers should have been much bigger in size. It would have been scarier.
i gotta hand it to them for the engineer costume and they guy they put in it.... didnt have to stray to far from human to get something really badass and believable

The amount of work that went into to this movie is second only to Noomi Rapace’s cheekbones for sheer spectacle.
