And maybe then they can truly make some progress again in the universe. Until then stay strong Battlebrothers and hands off the soymilk.
The deathwatch aren’t a penal battalion. It is actually considered a great honour for a marine to serve in the deathwatch. Space marine chapters voluntarily send some of their best there to serve the emperor. That being said there are some of their number who having done something wrong in the past do penance in that unit. But that’s a minority
True. But he just wanted to make a 7-minute review of the game not the hour-long video it would actually require to describe what deathwatch really are😅
@@superspecky4eyesno, the deathwatch is a chapter on its own that draws high performing space marines from other chapters. A black shield is a space marine that has been kicked out of his chapter and his colours have been removed as a mark of shame
You know what's so refreshing about this game? This is just straight up Warhammer, no agenda no politics no quippy dialog filled with one-liners. My testosterone shot up just by watching clips of this game online
But Warhammer 40.000 is (or at least used to be) a satire, born from punk sensibilities of the 80's. For example Orks are very un-Tolkien-like because they are a go at infamous British football hooligans - they act and even speak like those, and their leader Mag Uruk Thraka is named after an unpopular right-wing Prime Minister of the time. Astartes too are about as much the good guys as Starship Troopers or Judge Dredd - impressive role models and protagonists you root for until you are not 12 anymore and realize what kind of people they actually are in the setting.
@@robertchmielecki2580 the great thing about 40k is it's equal(ish) parts ironic and cool. It's so over the top it's ridiculous, and yet, everything feels right and consistent within its universe. There's very little "winking at the camera" and the audience/players are left to marvel at the things that are so absurd it's cool, and so cool it's absurd. Like of course the marines are 10 foot engineered zealots. Of course the infinitely numerous mindless orcs have somehow figured out a method of space conquest.
@@robertchmielecki2580 yes it is over the top satire. When you think about the horror of fighting endless wars with very little care about casualties it is still very clear this is not a world to be living in. But what it doesn't do is tell you every 5 minutes " the empire is bad you know" " can't you see the evil" "this is fascism". And after all you can enjoy the world without trying to make it real.
@@robertchmielecki2580I’ve been playing Warhammer since the 90’s and I still root for the Imperium. Considering the context of the setting, they are the good guys. No amount of crying about “media literacy” will change that. :^)
I’m a 40-year-old gamer who's become disenchanted with all those sprawling open-world games filled with endless side quests, weak stories, and unrelatable characters. "Space Marine 2" has rekindled my love for gaming. It’s a refreshing change-no self-indulgent nonsense, just a band of brothers fulfilling their duty with a sense of stoicism.
@@bnhik smaller studios and indie games is really where it's at nowadays and in a way I'm glad the big AAAA studios are screwing up so much, maybe it'll level out the playing field and allow for smaller studios to fill the gaps with good games like Space Marine 2, BoltGun, Black Myth Wukong, Elden Ring, and even cool indie titles like Bleak Faith, The Pathless, Rime, Journey etc Not only that it's allowing for other countries outside of the West and Japan to also get involved in game development, have u seen how many awesome looking games are coming out of Latin America and China?
You might like Witchfire... Its technically early access, but it is... Phenomenal. Very different, a mash up of genre/mechanics. Excellent gunplay - its FPS - with roguelike and extraction shooter elements - but don't let any of those "genre" labels scare you off.. It is none of those things. The gunplay and movement are CHEF'S KISS. Progression is AWESOME. Each weapon is unique (think Exotics from Destiny but better), and each weapon progression level FEELS so potent and rewarding. Can't say enough good about it - only downside is.. I haven't made time for Space Marine 2 in a whole week!!!!!!!!
Oh definitely! I am a diehard 40K player, collect all the Dan Abnett novels, played Spacemarine three times, and now watch my son and two youngest daughters play it, admirably serving the immortal God-Emperor of mankind.
Small correction 1:54 the Death Watch isn't a "Penal battalion" for Astartes/space marines, it is a specialized force that works alongside the Inquisition to hunt down the most dangerous and lethal alien life forms/threats in the known galaxy. Some marines are sent there to perform penance for past misdeeds. The basic premise is that "Well, if you are loyal, and are truly watched over by the emperor, then you will overcome the most dangerous and arduous tasks given to you"; in short, you might be redeemed if you manage to survive fighting the absolute worst the enemy xenos species can throw at you. All this while under the direct scrutiny of the Inquisition who have the power to declare exterminatus on entire planets and/or brand chapters of Marines Excommunicatus Traitoris (which makes them a kill on sight for any loyalist faction in the Imperium)
Most see getting send there as an Honor. Every chapter HAS to send one Guy there, when that guy dies they have to send another one. After a few hundred years of service, some do return to their Chapter.
As stated in the above reply, its actually considered a massive honor to most chapters including the Ultramarines. Only a sparse few consider it a punishment and usually because those chapters hate the inquisition and consider being under their purview a punishment, not because they dislike the idea or actions of the Deathwatch itself.
@Herdatec correct, the death watch is intended to be a reward, however it can also be used as a measure of punitive punishment for marines that may have done something wrong in the eyes of their Chapter leadership and/or the inquisition, but not enough to warrant outright execution.
honestly this is kind of Warhammer in a nutshell It's not a penal legion. At least not officially. It's just where the secret police sends the problem child marines to go do the exceptionally dangerous shit with a high mortality rate. But it's not a punishment, it's the Imperium allowing you the highest possible honor : to die in glorious service to the Emperor. but it's totally not a penal legion, guys. Mind you i absolutely love this setting because of how outlandishly over the top everything is and how no fucks are given for the usual good guy/bad guy dynamic.... but yeah, it kind of boggles my mind that some people actually get butthurt when you point out that Warhammer is, at it's core, satire.
@@Arphalia I've read one story where the Raven Guard send one of theirs to the deathwatch because he did not really fit in with the rest. He was always gloating about his martial skills and was a bit of a prick, but nothing illegal. When the Inquisition came, the leadership saw this as an opportunity to get rid of him. In the same story the inquisition came to the death specters and said "we need a Psyker". They had only one available so he was send. Guy did nothing wrong, just got recently promoted to Librarian.
6:10 This is literally what I love the most about this game : to finally put in perspective just how massive the Astartes (and the others races) are compared to mere mortals... seriously, if you played as a Guardman, that game would be a freaking horror flick !!
I want a game were you play as a Guardsman so badly. Imagine a PVE game, 100+ human players against Tyranids, Necrons or whatever, your expected lifetime is measured in seconds, fast respawns and you just try to gain ground centimeter by centimeter
Although, I'd still love to play as a member of a squad of guardsmen (I recall one battle on the tabletop where an entire platoon open fire on a lictor lurking in the jungle. The bloodied surviving xenomorph then plunged forth from the trees and slaughtered the entire guardsmen force and their commissar... They died in glory).
@@bwhere45I hate the concept of femstodes basically because sisters of silence are that already and are way cooler. Still waiting to get misters of battle though
Crazy to believe that this game had natural diversity, but didn't once have to shove that in the players' faces or degrade any of the characters. It simply prioritized gameplay and story first and foremost.
Diversity in woke context isnt about treating people equal but judging them by their gender and colour of skin instead of integrity and knowledge. Real diversity is a diversity of opinions and thats the opposite of what woke diversity is. The way woke ideology pushes for "diversity" is racist in its truest form and aligns perfect with right wing ideology of 30/40s . They just use different gender / colour of skin.
It wasn't quite natural. It was still forced. But I don't find it too annoying. Darktide went too far with their forced diversity, it's annoying in that game.
Calgar got his ass beat by Abaddon. He won the war thanks to the space elves crashing a spaceship into the Vengeful spirit while Calgar was fighting Abaddon but he still lost the fight.
40K Lore Tism coming in hot: 1- Lieutenant Titus, formerly Captain. 2- Deathwatch is the Order Militant of the Ordo Xenos, an Inquisitorial Ordo designed to hunt down, study and destroy Aliens. He was a Blackshield, which is a type of Deathwatch marine who surrenders themselves to their nearest Watch Fortress after scrubbing their heraldry from their armour, instead having a black Left Pauldron, thus the name 'Blackshield', they do this to atone for their sins, or for the sins of their chapter in some cases. Good to see Drinker having fun in 40K again, may you have many fruitful years in The Emperor's service, Brother.
3:10 no Marvel humor?? Oh man! I was expecting a true Taika Waititi script on this one😢… In all honesty tho, I am sick and tired of that kind of humor, when people say since it’s an entertainment product it’s not meant to be taken seriously and turn every story into a comedy hybrid thing. I want seriousness in my stories, no matter how dystopian/fantastical/over-the-top it might be, and this game delivers exactly that.
In operations - characters (since every class is a separate character) - do jokes. They banter. It's very endearing. I wish it was more like vermintide\darktide with over the top'ness and bright personalities. They are not very deep, but they do have very fun interactions between each other. From the competitiveness between decimus and others, to valius trying to be genuinely helpful and inspiring, to vespacius being trying to get his brothers to visit chapel more often.
The Deathwatch is no penal Unit! They are THE MOST ELITE Alien Killers in the Imperium and it is one of the greatest honors a Marine can hope to achiev is service in the Deathwatch.
I’m thinking of getting into the Table Top after playing Space Marines 2. I’ve played a mini game of it with a buddy at my local hobby shop and I like it. It’s not complicated as many think once you get it down.
Starting with a friend is the way to go. The main issue with the rules is less about rule complexity and more about rule changes and point cost changes. GW puts out quarterly updates that can dramatically change how a faction plays. Still, if you've got a good group, the game is a blast.
Just remember that the goal should be to have fun, and you should be golden. There are a whole bunch of ways to get into it in reasonably affordable way. Don't pay attention to to the sweat lords, or the perpetual tourney players. It's a richly rewarding hobby, and you'll probably find something you love about it that you didn't expect.
Unironic advice: try OnePageRules and third party miniatures instead. Games Workshop has zero respect for it's fanbase and charge absolute ripoff prices, especially if you live outside the UK or play any faction other than Space Marines. They WILL squeeze you for every penny they can, believe that. Don't let your love for the setting lure you into a toxic relationship with GW.
It gets complicated because every faction (and most of the units) have special rules. If you're playing Ultramarines, you're the default sub-faction of the default faction, which simplifies things.
Rogue Trader rpg came out this year, and recently had its first dlc, too. For an also amazing, but way more lengthy experience into 40k, complete with the (by now) usual romance options of an RPG, can heartily recommend. Accurately depicts the 40k world, like SM2 did, its combat (unlike most other rpgs) throws dozens of enemies at you all at once, emphasizing the setting you're in, most of its main characters are unforgettable and grow on you, whilst you get to feel like a noble on crack with so much money and wealth on your hands you dont even need to buy anything in the game - you just take it. It also features enemies pretty uncommon to Warhammer games, namely Tzeentch, Eldar+Dark Eldar and Necron. I think the Nids make an appaerance in the dlc, too, so do the other Chaos Gods in the main game in minor, but not insignificant ways.
Absolutely love rogue trader. I've been slow-burning my way through it and it's probably the best western RPG I've ever played. The richness of 40K lore really shines there, as well as the fact it's more 'ground level'. Not giant armies battling it out but just you, your few mates in your retinue trying to keep shit from falling apart. (well you have a big starship too, but that's small potatoes in 40K) The main character being accountable to almost nobody is also a refreshing take on the universe. Seetting up a comfortable seating area with a buffet cart while waiting for your number to come up in an administratum waiting room while solving peoples problems to skip ahead in line was brilliant.
@@Sgt_Glory If you like it, you can try the other Owlcat rpgs, too. The first Pathfinder, Kingmaker is a bit rough around the edges, but the second, Wrath of the Righteous, had the best cast of companions Ive seen since Mass Effect. Game also got fully completed a few months ago, with its own ME3-Citadel-style dlc to finish it off. Plays very similarly to Rogue Trader, just set in a DnD-esque fantasy world.
@@Sgt_Glory"Western" its arguably term m8, because Owlcat devs is Russians, Saber is too btw, so we have 2 best warhammer games and both of them made in canceled by GW county lul
I keep hearing one complaint that I do not understand: the game is too short, only ten-ish hours of game time. I do not agree. Being a working class dad, that is an absolutely excellent amount of time. I can play that bitch for nearly a week and then hop into multi-player. Only heard good things outside of that, can't wait to get my copy.
Titus being considered heretical from the first game for handling a massively corrupt item is normal. Its like a Demon popping out killing half your squad then fist bumping you then walking away. The Imperium still doesn't fully understand that a person of single minded purity is highly resistant to the warp could be a thing. Since you know most people have at least a sliver of a dark side.
No. Leandros was supposed to bring Titus to a charter chaplain or librarian for judgement. He went against the codex by contacting an Inquisitor to judge him.
Just a bit of a correction on the Deathwatch bit. They are not a penal company of dishonorable chapter members. Those are the Black Shields specifically within the Deathwatch. They are stripped of chapter iconography, their histories are scrubbed, and some have even their names taken away. Most members of the Deathwatch are veterans from other chapters that serve short (short for a Space Marine at least) terms as Deathwatch members to help give their knowledge, prowess, or their resources to the DW. Kinda think of them like as elected police officers that are taken from other prominent precincts. They’re conscripted, serve some time, then return home. Most even keep the left silver shoulder pad and left arm while they dawn their original chapter heraldry so in honored remembrance. Black Shields are those that have to serve a penance. They’ve either failed important missions, been accused of some manner of treachery, and some Black Shields even serve as tithe to pay for their chapters failings that they were in no part of. The Deathwatch need members pretty desperately and cannot afford to not use even those who have done wrong. They’ll take what they can get. And if some members have to serve longer periods of time in order to “redeem” themselves the Deathwatch is all the happier. If y’all ever want to discuss 40K ad nauseum I’d love to goob about it to a ludicrous level sometime. Hit me up.
Titus was a Captain in the first game. Demoted to Lieutenant, his record scrubbed and served in the Death Watch as a Black Shield. Galadriel is the Sergeant of HIS squad. HE is their leader. He has trained with them. Now this unknown, record scrubbed, Lieutenant is now in charge of HIS team? WTF? Who is this guy? That's why there was so much friction between them at first. I saw it right away. Chairon? he's an E-4 specialist and give no shits.
@ 3:48 Uhm.. acktshually, Space Marines are extremely fast & agile in the lore, despite wearing almost a metric ton of armor. The "Astartes" fan film, depicts how they move perfectly.
@@taudvore259 Yes, something like that. Space Marines have a number of cybernetic implants that connects their power armor directly to their nervous system. It's like wearing a second skin for them. They have already superhuman speed & strength and the power armor multiplies that.
I'd also add Rogue Trader and Necromunda: Hired Gun. But the former with a warning that the technical state might still be a little rough. On release it was virtually uncompletable though.
Fire Warrior was my first real exposure to Warhammer, and along with Dawn of War, it remains one of my all-time favourite games. It’s what made me one of the rare Tau enjoyers.
While I haven't played the game myself, there's a lot of people that would disagree with his opinion on the PVP. From what I've seen, the class based system seems to add a lot of depth in the PVP as the classes have strengths and weaknesses that support one another pretty well. The main gripe from what I can tell is the PVP gamemode doesn't offer much variety in terms of objectives.
eh, it's mixed bag of reception. some love it, others hate it. the biggest sin imo is the lack of a shoulder swapable camera perspective. meaning every time you walk to the left of your screen you are always at an perspective angle disadvantage, since the enemies will see your hitbox, before you see theirs. for pve that is fine, but the pvp suffers from that imo and the devs already said they won't do that in an update, which sucks.
I think it is because most people play it as if it was another generic shooter, guns blazing and challenging everyone, instead of getting into the role of each class and actually seizing each class’ characteristics and recognising their weaknesses
@DatAsianGuy they said they would have to update every animation in the game to make that change to the workload was just too high to implement the feature.
@@andrewboyer7544 That's a strawman argument. Nobody or at least most people are not asking for adding and reworking all animations just for a camera shift. They are simply asking to shift the camera. No need to add new animations. The devs just have an ego about this topic, because they designed a lot of the character animations around the camera being on the right shoulder. Sword held in the right hand. critical shots having a dynamic close-up shot, etc. And they want to keep it cinematic. I don't care about my camera being "cinematic" in a pvp mode. I am interested in a camera that by bad design doesn't fuck me over when i decide to do something as simple as move my character to the left.
The old school games that were limited by technology still has/had their dedicated fans and players. I know a guy on UA-cam, I'm sure among many others, who uploads old school shooter quest games with those graphics, particularly for DOOM. He excels at all first-person shooters from the old to the knew. He loves that old stuff.
these linear games tend to be shorter because of the massive amount of content built in to every minute of gameplay. especially in a game that doesnt rely on filler content to pad out the run time. and instead relys on high octane addrenaline rushes to keep interest up. compare this to starfield. you might theorhetically get a couple hundred hours of gameplay out of that game but how much of it is treading through an open world and dealing with fetch quests? with space marine 2 every single corner is jam packed with tailor made environments, interesting skyboxes, groups of enemies, and interesting platforming. and to be honest this is a lost artform. and is rarely tried in modern gaming because of the shear amount of time these environments take to build. takes you 30 seconds to run through a hallway that someone took 10 manhours to design and decorate.

The Bio Titan op just dropped today but the cry babies are crying about the newest difficulty added complaining about their “power fantasy” being ruined 💀
@@Mystic_Punanyyy It's not the addition of a higher difficulty, it's everything they did to the lower ones. They went the Helldivers route of nerfing everything functional because garbage wasn't being picked. Case in point: fencing melee weapons (the only ones anyone picked because balance and block melee weapons are terrible) They also made the lower difficulties harder "because they were too easy" in an update that adds a much stronger challenge for... reasons? It's better for a developer to do one of those, not both at the same time. Give the casuals their fun and the hardcore player's their challenge, don't strip it from one to appease the other. They should have just focused on adding challenge in the new difficulty.

@@the_redpyro4906 to be fair, fencing weapons were good, because they are much easier to parry with. And nothing changed with fencing weapons at this point. With the latest update the cry babies won’t shut up about their power fantasy and dumb shit like that. My main concern is how to survive all of these financial and political crises, especially in light of the US political power scuffle. The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of bad governance.

Just a quick note, the Death Watch isn’t a penal chapter. They’re a mostly veteran chapter comprised of members from other chapters all with one thing in common: they’re all really great at killing xenos. They’re also the chamber militant of the Ordo Xenos faction of the Inquisition.
My introduction to 40k was walking into anti-gravity arcade on queen st toronto in the mid 90s, and seeing Space Hulk for PS1s cutscenes playing on the TVs around the room upstairs in the games workshop area. Space Marine 2 feels like the first time seeing the art from the books really being depicted at the scale expected.
Space Marine 2 was a genuine breath of fresh air. No bullshit, well made. Lots of fun, great experience to pair up with, captures the setting that we love about the franchise really well, modifies the already beloved style of Space Marine 1 and caps off the story started there with as much of a feel-good conclusion as can be expected in this setting. Now I’m looking forward to what Mechanicus 2 will bring to the table next year.
I have a deep passion for Warhammer 40K. My journey in this universe began with "Warhammer 40K: Soulstorm," enhanced by the Unification Mod. Since then, I've continued to enjoy this captivating RTS game, and my love for it only grows stronger.
Now, this sounds like a traditional Space Marines game! Like you, I liked the books and comics from the b&w days. I wish they would've had a choice on chapters. We had Blood Angels and Ultramarines. Would perfer to run with Dark Angels, Crimson Fist, White Scars, or some others. But, hey. It's me! Who knows, maybe one day we'll get a version similar to SW battlefront? One can hope.🤞 Tomb who??? At least they haven't ruined this 40k! Keep calm, load the bolt thrower, and for the Emperor!
This game definitely did its gears of home work. I’m love how bits of DNA from other saber games can be found within the DNA of this title. It’s pretty dope! Leaves me a bit upset that they abandoned the “evil dead the game” not only in an unplayable state basically but even at launch they failed to cultivate the playerbase and hear and act upon feedback in a timely matter if at all and when they did do so the balancing swayed too far to killer or survivor side but anyways as far as space marine 2 goes I love the game so far! Upset PvP has only 3 maps and despite Pve having 6 maps it’s getting more maps seemingly before PvP lol .
This game is so awesome that it got me, a newcomer to 40k to get seriously interested in the universe. It's co-op campaign reminds me of a childhood favourite game of mine in Transformers War For Cybertron. What a refreshing and awesome game in our day and age!
0:39 - 0:51 You just described my thoughts and feelings with 40k: I tried to join the Imperium years ago, but got turned off by the absurd prices of minis, the fact I had to paint them myselfs (I suck hard both in painting and in picking up good color choice for designs) and the fact I would have no close partners to play it. Nowadays, after "Space Marine 2" was launched, UA-cam algorithm recommended me A LOT of nice 40k stuff, including lore about my now favorite faction: the Salamanders. The best part was to find about the Joytoy 40k action figures. They're very cool and waaaay cheaper than the minis... and I don't have to paint them. It's only being tough to choose if I'll buy Space Marines from the Salamanders (my favorite faction) or from the Ultramarines (because the online store I'll buy from also sells Dreadnoughts and vehicles, but only for Ultramarines). I also started to play the "Dawn of War" series, and I must say: although Salamanders are my favorite faction lorewise, in terms of gameplay my favorite ones are the Orkz. It's absurdly fun to play with them.
I feel the same this game really drew me into the Grim Dark of warhammer. Not the miniatures or table top but the lore and brutality of the series. I’m amazed at all the fan fiction along side all the GW lore that is available.
I started 40k back in 1994 when a couple friends and I went to a local hobby shop, saw these interesting models in a display case, and bought a couple issues of white dwarf.
My brother in Christ - Lieutenant Titus, not sergeant and the Death Watch is NOT a penal battalion, it is an honor to be selected to be part of their elite squads, not a punishment. They are the militant arm of the Ordo Xenos part of the Inquisition.

But they do it anyway? Why? Cuz no one is coming to help humanity, thats why.
The most divine guy really is your own Emperor and all that the Imperium can do is to hold out until he might resurrect through some miracle.
Serving in the death watch is an honor, but serving in the deathwatch as a black shield is not.

It's not the 80s anymore, Robert
@@robertchmielecki2580 the great thing about 40k is it's equal(ish) parts ironic and cool. It's so over the top it's ridiculous, and yet, everything feels right and consistent within its universe. There's very little "winking at the camera" and the audience/players are left to marvel at the things that are so absurd it's cool, and so cool it's absurd. @@robertchmielecki2580 yes it is over the top satire.
@Herdatec correct, the death watch is intended to be a reward, however it can also be used as a measure of punitive punishment for marines that may have done something wrong in the eyes of their Chapter leadership and/or the inquisition, but not enough to warrant outright execution.
honestly this is kind of Warhammer in a nutshell
It's not a penal legion.
If you play an astartes it's an hack-and-slash. If you play a guardman that's an horror survival game where "hard" is the easier mode...

New to Warhammer. Adored Space Marine 2 and throughly enjoyed the retro inspired Boltgun.
I shall mourn your wallet for your future investment with this hobby.
(well you have a big starship too, but that's small potatoes in 40K)
The main character being accountable to almost nobody is also a refreshing take on the universe. Seetting up a comfortable seating area with a buffet cart while waiting for your number to come up in an administratum waiting room while solving peoples problems to skip ahead in line was brilliant.
@@Sgt_Glory If you like it, you can try the other Owlcat rpgs, too.

Hit me up.

@EarhirX totally agree. I keep getting stick on teams that act like its cod while the other team are working together it gets so annoying
@@andrewboyer7544
That's a strawman argument.

Game was fun and looks great, but it's a bummer how short it is
these linear games tend to be shorter because of the massive amount of content built in to every minute of gameplay. especially in a game that doesnt rely on filler content to pad out the run time. and instead relys on high octane addrenaline rushes to keep interest up.
compare this to starfield. you might theorhetically get a couple hundred hours of gameplay out of that game but how much of it is treading through an open world and dealing with fetch quests?
with space marine 2 every single corner is jam packed with tailor made environments, interesting skyboxes, groups of enemies, and interesting platforming. and to be honest this is a lost artform. and is rarely tried in modern gaming because of the shear amount of time these environments take to build. takes you 30 seconds to run through a hallway that someone took 10 manhours to design and decorate.

With the latest update the cry babies won’t shut up about their power fantasy and dumb shit like that. When you can tell they never tried world war z the devs have always made the difficulties harder. It’s a great game just like world war z a fun hack n slash shooter that’s gory asf and challenging.
its pretty cool how when Titus first meets the new captain, he doesnt struggle with his demotion. he is here for service, not his own glory.
For the emperor!
Recommend for Drinker and anyone else who loved the Warhammer 40K setting.
This year I LOVED playing the 'XCOM-like' title Daemonhunters, where you lead squads of elite psychic spacemarines against the lost and the damned servants of the plague god Nurgle...
My main concern is how to survive all of these financial and political crises, especially in light of the US political power scuffle. The government has really called things more difficult for its citizens, and we can't sit back and bear all the consequences of bad governance.
I'm glad you made this video, I can recall when I was homeless and faced with many things in Life until $75,000 biweekly began rolling in and my Life went from A homeless nobody to a different person with good things to offer!!!!!!❤️
That's lovely 🌹if I may ask, How did you come up with so much biweekly?
It's JUDY MARION THEN doing she changed my life. A BROKER- like her is what you need.
$_700k and yet still counting on. Judy Marion Then is the kind of person one needs in his or her life to be honest❤️❤️❤️>>>>
Wow😱 I know her too. Judy Marion Then is a remarkable individual who has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life. Her unwavering wisdom has been invaluable assets, enriching my journey in countless ways.
Such a smoooth review.
No "modern audience" shenanigans , just pure fun
The moment that sold me was when Titus’s men refused to let him take the risk of turning over the obelisk device. He truly won the trust of his men.
Space marine 2 was a return to the golden era of gaming where you got the game to play with your mates
Just discovered that “The Critical Drinker” has its own gaming channel. What’s cooler than that? Ah yes, that he also likes 40K lore. What a chad.
"Sergeant Titus"...breathe, just breathe. He means well
"mee-lee"
How amazing was the depiction of every race involved in this game!? Just so bloody good!
Dawn of War is an RTS I played when I was younger, it was fun as hell to play.
That’s my favourite game series, Dark Crusade being the one I enjoyed most. I just wish they didn’t end it with whatever 3 was…
Now, this sounds like a traditional Space Marines game!
One can hope.🤞
Tomb who???

You just described my thoughts and feelings with 40k: I tried to join the Imperium years ago, but got turned off by the absurd prices of minis, the fact I had to paint them myselfs (I suck hard both in painting and in picking up good color choice for designs) and the fact I would have no close partners to play it.
It reeks of the original Gears Of War... and that's a good thing. I just bought Space Marine 2 because of your review 😊
I really hope we can get some more darkness and grit like Berserk in our media. This is definitely a good start but... more... MORE!!!
I feel the same this game really drew me into the Grim Dark of warhammer. Not the miniatures or table top but the lore and brutality of the series. I’m amazed at all the fan fiction along side all the GW lore that is available.
Thanks Drinker! I’ve been on the fence, but now I know…. I’m getting this right away
I started 40k back in 1994 when a couple friends and I went to a local hobby shop, saw these interesting models in a display case, and bought a couple issues of white dwarf.
THE EMPEROR IS PLEASED WITH THIS REVIEW. SUPERB WORK AS ALWAYS BROTHER!
My brother in Christ - Lieutenant Titus, not sergeant and the Death Watch is NOT a penal battalion, it is an honor to be selected to be part of their elite squads, not a punishment. They are the militant arm of the Ordo Xenos part of the Inquisition.
He just mixed up the Deathwatch with being a Black Shield. Simple mistake to make, not that big of a deal.
Just knocked out my first ruthless session for my first relic data..was successful and challenging..this game absolutely holds up nicely. Thanks for the honest and highly critical review Drinker!
