It’s refreshing to hear an American woman who understands that it is the guys prerogative to choose where they live and who the live with. You should consider going to the PI also. I’m out of here at the end of March
Lol, I looked at the length of this video before I watched it and thought I'd give it a few minutes. Started watching it and all of a sudden it was over. You three should take this show on the road. Thanks for the laughs !!!
Just got done doing yard work equal to 12,000 steps, a lot for me, totally exhausted but this episode has me laughing crying. Took the edge off my fatigue. Thank you! 😂
You're very likeable Paul. Think you've found your calling with this life, and doing UA-cam. Truly wish you the best, many more years of happiness and health 🍻
Great video Paul. I really enjoyed the candidness and the "raw" quality, with no holds barred. Exactly what I am looking forward to; just hanging out and shooting the sh*t.
Paul, one of your best posts. I encourage more. I like the banter and topics. The idea of supplying the kids with helmets is awesome. I highly encourage that. One thing you should know is that PI law requires the driver to wear a helmet, not the passengers. I actually got pulled over in El Nido in December 2022 because I had my fiance's teenage girl on the bike with me with her mother in front on her own scooter and they wanted to give me a ticket because she was wearing a helmet, but I was not. I explained that it's the opposite in the US, the passenger must wear a helmet, and it's optional for the driver to wear one. I would always wear one, but I have a large head and couldn't find one. Thank goodness my fiancee is beautiful and well-versed in persuasion. The Philippines is awesome. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the great video Paul! It was one of the most frank and honest conversations I've heard in a long while. Definitely do more of that in the future if you can. Thanks again.
Excellent job! This is the sort of thing I have been missing in all your vids, just hanging out and shooting the breeze with your buddies'. You learn so much just by the comical stories they share and sitting here drinking coffee alone with the temp outside at 25 degrees, sure makes me want to go back, like right now!
This is entertaining. My Canadian hubby is impatient but when he arrives in the Philippines, he became patient. :) and he loves Philippines a lot and we are building a small 2 story house by the beach in Bohol. We come home every September for a month.
As a Filipino, I appreciate all the good things you said about our people. And thanks for the helmet project, some parents doesn't have the money to buy the kids their own helmet or they are just simply irresponsible. Enjoy your retirement here. ❤
Why they don't have helmets for their children may be due to financ I al reason but I also just think they lack in parental knowledge and just common sense! Their parents were aloof so a apple doesn't fall to far away from the tree.
TWO WORDS: This is a" game changer" for 'any" expat. Paul this has to be the best of the best. You may have started a niche in terms of the " blue book " like the automobile purchase in making the move over seas. Very informative from A-Z. Goldfinger! I'm in on the child helmet campaign. Give us details where to find you. Thx again Paul for great content.
"You have to have patience" ,,, you guys hit the nail on the head with that . Patience ABSOLUTELY needed ,, my plan to move to Philippines became a 4 year plan as I figured it would take me 4 years to build sufficient patience so I didn't want to strangle the residents of the country I wanted to live in :)
Don't wait too long ... there's no promise of tomorrow. Just shed your Western Mentality and Aggression and you'll be fine. No need to wear a Mask here!
Really like that idea of Goldfinger providing helmets for children. I think others will support your idea, and the concept will grow. Sprinkling that spiritual love, making a difference, and saving lives.
What a great series of funny stories, and great conversation, Paul and friends. I got a kick out of shaving my facial hair, and then the ladyboy issues! 😅. It just goes to show you you just never know what to expect in the Philippines. Great entertainment 😊
Hi guys just saw your video and hearing you planning to buy Helmets for kids who are riding motorbikes it warms my heart to hear that from you guys and I would like to extend my heart felt thanks for your plans to help out THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Loved the format and the guests just shooting the breeze. More like this would be so welcome but choose your buddies carefully! Loved the way you steered through censored topics. Well done on the facilitation!
Love the helmet idea. Maybe if the kids pick up a bag of trash in exchange for a helmet??? Or, good report cards from school?? This past Christmas my whole family flew to the PI for Christmas where I spent $200 dollars on food for food baskets. Wife and her sisters bought all of the food together while I BBQ'd dinner. My sister-in-law and boyfriend is a teacher and identified 50 kids from their school who live in the squatter areas. She worked through the local Barangay captain and gave out 50 tickets to these children. Then 2 days before Christmas my 3 nephews and 4 adult daughters all spent the night together putting together these 50 food baskets. The next day we handed them out for Christmas at the local Barangay office. No ticket, no basket. Best Christmas we have ever had! I had to wear sunglasses because of my tears of appreciation of my family being together in the spirit of Christmas.
I really like this "open chat" format & hope to see more of them with these guys & others. You've added Dumaguete to my list of places to visit, in addition to Cebu & Bohol, when I make my first visit (for 3 months) to the Philippines in 2024 when I retire. You guys are so humorous with Goldfinger's "player" persona getting all the hot Filipinas while the other guy was only attracting the ladyboys until he got some good advice from the expats. I'm also making a note to bring my cane. I rarely need it unless I twist my knee or something but it could be useful to take it with me to the grocery store to use the shorter "handicap" line. Since I'm already 63 years old, it won't look too surprising.
Great conversation video, and a good diversion than the usual. You all are the epitome of the quintessential retired life in bliss. Surrounded with good friends, good vibes, healthy in the way of mind, body, spirit. White sand beaches and water falls are added bonuses, let alone the pinays! Enjoy Paul and buddies!
Stupid woman. Do you condone these old perverts cajoling with girls who are young enough to be their granddaughters? Stop praising these dogs for taking advantage of these poor girls.
Like Nike says " Just Do It"... And as Old Dog says " recognize, adapt and ( if you have common sense) ACCEPT! Somebody should write that down... got a pen? Best intro to the PI! Should be at the PI Airports where it says WELCOME to The Philippines.
This is the best, funniest video ever done by you Paul. More series to come please, on you, Goldfinger, and Steve (if I got it right). Enjoy life in Philippines, you all. I am here in Texas, envious of your carefree life there.
Hi Paul I am a longtime friend of bud Brown. i’ve been watching your channel ever since you started. This is a great UA-cam video. I love it I live in the US unfortunately for now retiring and moving to the Philippines in four years. I hope we can have coffee keep up the good videos & God bless🙏😇
One of your best videos! Great to hear the everyday banter between mature adult men. I can definitely identify. Need more of that. Of courses, you can't go wrong with Goldfinger! Lol!
The 3 amigos . Seriously you all are entertaining, funny, laughing here with you. Your chemistry is amazing. 50 minutes is short. I can watch you 3 everyday.
Nice group of guys Paul. The stories and experiences are funny. Looking forward to get back in Dumaguete first of April. Last time I was there the why not didn’t seem like a great place to hang out. Very popular for all the wrong reasons. Hopefully we’ll meet one day when I’m in town. Take care, Paul.
Hey Paul it's Mike New York... Want you to know that I just watched your video and I love it it's the most hilarious and funniest video I've seen you make.. Really enjoyed it Looking forward to coming to the Philippines hopefully we can get to meet... You definitely get a five thumbs up for me..👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Paulie , I really enjoyed watching the video . I miss sitting around with 3 or 4 guys shooting the Breeze . Man , I need to get to the Philippines . What a good idea for a video . Hope you do it again !!!
I am looking forward to my retirement in General Santos. The attitude of the Filipino people and the slower lifestyle is what I enjoy. My younger Filipino husband and I will be coming back to the states for him to work in nursing and for us to visit my family here, so I think it will be a good balance for us.
Great vlog Paul. Interesting conversation there with you three. Goldfinger likes to steal the show but he’s always entertaining. Great format. Might need to do this regularly 👍
All three of you have good hearts. I enjoy learning this way. They are definitely newbies. I hope they manage to stash a portion of their income some place nice and safe, just so you don't set yourself up. I can't tell you how many times I had to look back and kick myself in the a** because all of the signs were right in front of me. But I was born a geek and given a choice between a nomal answer or a out of left field answer, I went for the gusto! As for the helmets, what would the children do with the helmets once they got to school? They wouldn't want to mix them up. The way we solved this in the U.S. was school buses. It's a scary thought when you consider some of these roads. I wish the best to all of you.
When I saw it say 50 min I figured that was too long to watch but when I clicked on it I realized it was almost over so quick. Very entertaining and informative. Thanks. Keep up the great work!! Hopefully soon I will be meeting you guys. I would pay the 15k per month to help out with the 50k rent (probably temporary) until I get settled lol
WOW,,, Best vid you ever did, DONT worry about the length, anyone whos really interested in Phili or your experiences there will like me love evey minute of it... I am still in Aus, but own a place in Jagna Bohol scamedemenic screwed all my plans, but slowly getting back on track..
Glad to hear that some of foreigners back home in Philippines are actually have a good time of their retirement-life ... surely they embrace and embroide to their heart by learning how to adjust-adapt -love their surroundings and the people around them . Not like some we heard but completelycomplaints about almost everything. . Wish all the good good time to three of you .
Great chat, loved the stories. To give the helmets away maybe you could get together with the Filipina that has a channel where she goes out and cleans beaches. Have it where kids and at least one of their parents sign up and help clean a beach will get a helmet. That way they put value in the helmet they worked for and also see the value in keeping nature clean.
GREAT IDEA ... get the locals involved and give them a sense of responsibility to take pride in their land / home. I see locals throwing trash at will everywhere. I'm a smoker but I always save my cig. butt in my pocket - never litter. My wife co.pkains that I will stink up my pants- My simple reply is who's going to put their nose that close to my pockets ANYWAY !?
Wow Paul this has to be your best show ever. Thank you. I had a good laugh and a smile on my face all day long just thinking of theses 3 wise men. Please bring them back. Thank you again.
Best video ever! Speaking of the economy, I was stationed on Mactan Island in the sixties when the exchange rate was 4 to 1, but a beer was 25 centavos.
The motorcycle helmet chat is so relevant to me. I kept nagging my neighbour to wear a helmet, l bought helmets for him and his family. He then started wearing a helmet. The next day an out of control SUV nocked him flying as he turned into his driveway. l saw him spinning in the air like a helicopter rotor. Luckily no serious injury but his helmet was split from top to bottom. The Police who attended said that if he had not worn it, he would have been killed. So, Goldfinger, you have a great idea. God Bless you.
Thankyou It's been a hassle to get free helmets approved here. But in the end , it will be a wonderful idea for all expats to endorse .. Hopefully we can start the program before June this year ... I'll give an update next month
Goldfinger has the gift of gab. No need to put any more quarters in him. 😂. (Seems like a good dude, reminds me of a longtime friend of mine here in the states.)
The helmet program idea is really freakin cool, i hope we can get a follow up on it one day Another excellent video Paul, and environment is really great too!
To be honest, I don't watch the live streams that vloggers put on. THIS was pretty awesome having rambling guy talk about whatever. Listened to it from start to finish. Loved it!!
Great video guys. I’m coming over in a couple of weeks and Duma is on my list for a couple of days. Mainly because of your channel Paul. I was hoping to visit the whynot. Not so sure now 😅
Man, this is a fun conversation, informative and darn beneficial for those individuals asking why there is a lot of individuals wanting to moves to Philippines, it is not just for finding a girl but health beneficial too.I think i can benefits by moving back to P.I sooner to bring down the numero uno killer of every American..."Stress". Thanks Paul.
Loved the video. Goldfinger, I was trending down on you - then you mentioned the helmet program and I really changed my opinion of you. D - don't give up, Ladyboys need love too ;> Paul, love listening to you.
Gentlemen, you make my day! And at the end of this I was so impressed with this gentleman and his idea about the motorcycle helmets my very first trip and my very first day in the Philippines I had a motorcycle clip my car in Manila and it scared the hell out of me that he could have possibly been hurt fortunately he wasn't seriously injured at all you are the type of expats that give expats a good name! I have a few years before I become one, but when I do I want to live up to this man's example
Paul, loved todays format! Just an FYI, your injured friend you guys referred to did a full interview on another vlog so his information is out there already. He released a video statement from the hospital also, sounds like he’s being taken care of 👍
Thanks for sharing the conversation Paul. It really gives a feel for the relaxed camaraderie and general relaxed influence the PI has had on you guys. Im afraid youre adding to the expat population problem tho- Im arriving next week in Dauin and Duma to see if your talk is legit about how nice it is there 🤔.
Just be sure you don't flash money around and act like you're better than everyone else and you'll do just fine! Just ask yourself one simple ?. Why does anyone go toward what they want in general? Because they want it ... including $$$.
I'm glad you're enjoying your time in the Philippines. Might take a longer for me to decide whether when I'm coming back home. I'm happy and content with my life in Florida at this time.
It's the Rat Pack of the Philippines. Starring Goldfinger as Peter Lawford, Dean as Dean Martin and Old Dog as Frank Sinatra. The craziness of the original Rat Pack and their antics in Sin City has nothing on antics of the Rat Pack from Dumaguete. 😂I hope to join the crowd in the Philippines in about 3 more years...I wish I could now, but a few more years and the finances will be set. Keep pumping out the quality content Paul!
OLD DOG is killing it again! One suggestion - invest in a late night studio setup, like Carson had. Maybe even a band? Goldfinger is MADE to be the Ed McMahon of the operation...Thanks as always for the great content!!!
These guys are terrific. Other UA-camr put them down about his niece yada yada. Very entertaining
They are the best👍👍🍻🍻
I'm with you man these guys are hilarious 🤣
Hey Fellow Crazies out there. I know this video is past history now but I've just viewed it probably for the 2nd or 3rd time and I come away with new thoughts. Yes these guys are authentic and making good use of their time as far as I'm concerned. I spent 10 mos. there
and since have riddened myself of the nightmare I found myself in. I did go back to the states just to finalize immigration. retirement issues and other formalities that could be resolved more expediently there then in the PI.
By getting my butt far away from unscrupulous PI inlaws, I kept myself safe and out of jail.
No telling what these family members could have accomplished ( harm) if I stayed.
By watching and listening to these guys hash out their experiences has been very enlightening and informative as well as entertaining.
I will put out a ALERT to all you newbies- be aware of the guys who post " the untold story or the exposing of this vlogger or that vlogger"! In my opinion they are just wannabees of the guys that they PUT DOWN! They are jealous and just trying to steal viewers and grow their own channels.
Also beware of these guys who give pointers on how to have a good time and exploit the women of S.E. Asia.
These guys especially are lovers from wherever they came from or hiding from. They are commonly known as The Pas%&ort Bros.
Just be cognizant that you guys are preying on someone's sister or daughter or the like.
To all out there come on in - the waters fine!

I’m lying in bed recovering from surgery and watching this has distracted me from the pain. Thanks!!!
You better watch your stitches or staples don't open up after listening to these guys...lol!
Hope you heal up fast!
Hope you get well soon!
Better to sleep. Nothing to see here
Yeah, I understand what you're saying.
I'm building a fence and listening to these guys.
It keeps me in a pleasant mood.
I love this conversational video. Please do more of this 🙏
Just got done doing yard work equal to 12,000 steps, a lot for me, totally exhausted but this episode has me laughing crying. Took the edge off my fatigue. Thank you! 😂

Great video! Nice to see people trying to help others! Giving is good for the soul!
Funnnnnnny!!!! I loved the format!
Paul, that was fun...do this format some more...maybe weekly.
Have been tossing around the idea of visiting the Phils. I really enjoy your vids Paul. 🙏
Wow Paul this has to be your best show ever. Thank you. I had a good laugh and a smile on my face all day long just thinking of theses 3 wise men. Please bring them back. Thank you again.
Great video Paul and hope everyone there enjoys your time in the Philippines! Have a blessed day!
Best video ever! Speaking of the economy, I was stationed on Mactan Island in the sixties when the exchange rate was 4 to 1, but a beer was 25 centavos.
This was very entertaining and wonderfully politically incorrect! Never a dull moment. Thanks so much, Paul!
Paul, This has to be your absolute best video ever!!!!!!!!!!
😂😂😂😂
So Nice To See 3 Very Happy Men! Very Inspiring , Thanks For The Video.
Thankyou
It's been a hassle to get free helmets approved here.
I love your videos of the conversations you have with people, these videos are brilliant.
This was hilarious! Looking forward to seeing more of these life talks.
Paul, I really enjoyed this. You should do this kind of video again every so often.
Hilarious - really appreciate the frank talk - such a funny conversation!
Love this video, Paul! Great stuff.
Loved the chat, guys.
Great get together!!! Enjoyed this type of video.
The helmet program idea is really freakin cool, i hope we can get a follow up on it one day
Another excellent video Paul, and environment is really great too!
Interesting video as always!
Salamat Paul & friends
To be honest, I don't watch the live streams that vloggers put on. THIS was pretty awesome having rambling guy talk about whatever. Listened to it from start to finish. Loved it!!
ran across this video today, and so relaxing and entertaining to watch you guys.
Great video guys. I’m coming over in a couple of weeks and Duma is on my list for a couple of days. Mainly because of your channel Paul. I was hoping to visit the whynot. Not so sure now 😅
A highly recommend visit why not on a Saturday night
What a motley crew. The only thing missing was Nicaraguan Dean! 😂
I was already laughing out loud when i read the title...great candid interview😀like i was sitting at the table with you guys
Paul, loved todays format! Just an FYI, your injured friend you guys referred to did a full interview on another vlog so his information is out there already. He released a video statement from the hospital also, sounds like he’s being taken care of 👍
Luv these kind of stories😁
Thanks for sharing the conversation Paul. It really gives a feel for the relaxed camaraderie and general relaxed influence the PI has had on you guys. Im afraid youre adding to the expat population problem tho- Im arriving next week in Dauin and Duma to see if your talk is legit about how nice it is there 🤔.
Glad you enjoyed it
Just be sure you don't flash money around and act like you're better than everyone else and you'll do just fine!
Hey Paul, 😂absolutely fantastic video. I really enjoyed it. Thanks
One of your best videos ever. Please do more like this
I realized, there's so much to learn from this video. ALOT 😆 The entirety is hilarious.
This has been one the funniest expat story I've ever seen...thanks for putting it out there Paul 🤣🤣🤣
3rd or 4th time watching this video and it still makes me laugh just like a great stand-up comedian. Love it! 👍👍😁🤣
Create a helmet library, use the helmet and when the kid out grows it. Turn it back in for someone else to use.
Sorry to comment 2 times but this needs to be a weekly show. Very cool man. Like a late night show in the day. Hahahahaha...peace brother.
Paul: this is one of your best vids yet! I laughed so much from the stories told.
Ive been enjoying your videos - great stuff! :)
“No, I don’t need your Watch Tower!” 😂😂 “You’re killin’ me, Smalls!”
you know its great here and this is why .you nailed it
OLD DOG is killing it again! One suggestion - invest in a late night studio setup, like Carson had. Maybe even a band? Goldfinger is MADE to be the Ed McMahon of the operation...Thanks as always for the great content!!!
Great Fun Paul, love the format. I live in Asia and thinking about the Philippines as its one place I have not been.
Yeah Paul u did something right again. Well done!
