Jason Bonham playing Bonham triplets gives me chills. For anyone to be able to honor such a great drummer let alone that drummers son is a truly beautiful thing.
respect to Jason but its sounds so inferior to his dad on this track, im not sure he even plays the triplets. Drums sound totally diff to the loud snap of Bonzo
And he's absolutely shredding! It's rare to be able to pull play these lines in a relaxed way. His bass lines are very advanced and his execution is fantastic, supporting and making everyone sound better.
One of the Greatest Bands I seen went to see Jason's Led Zeppelin Experience an I had to put my head down I couldn't take someone else Singing ,playing Guitar but he was Great on the Drums only person on this Planet to fill His Dad's Shoes 🥁🥁

Every point in history there has been a musical genius that shaped the sound of music for a generation and Jimmy Page is that genius. It doesn't matter what problems he may have faced. He is the greatest of all time
One thing I noticed about this concert is that JPJ is much more front and centre than he was in the band's heyday. Back then he was usually standing almost behind John Bonham with no flourishes and pretty much motionless.
Pretty much THE most anticipated opening number in rock history...and they delivered like Vikings pillaging a city. And yes, Jason is every bit the hammer of the gods as his dad.
sabes lo que es tener a tres miembros de una de las bandas más históricas mirándote tocar la batería?? además de mil millones de fans viendo tu performance... qué presión!!!
Not too shabby for a bunch of 70 year olds. Makes you wonder what they were like in their twenties. On a side not, Jason played the whole gig unbelievably. Did dad proud. Best of the four, often like his old man.
Robert absolutely loved it. How couldn't he, when you see the joy on all their faces. He just saw the other side of the coin, with all the corporate garbage and being surrounded by a lot of hanger ons. He saw a gifted band being turned into a commodity if it continued further after the reunion. Now, if they would have done something together, musically, that broke new ground, it would have been different. But Jimmy looks like he's happy reliving the glory days while Plant and John Paul like moving on.
First time i heard good times bad times back in the 70’s sends shivers down my spine and here in 2021 still does this was the song that got me into led zeppelin
I’m young, and I only listen to classic rock. The people I’m surrounded by (besides my family) listen to rap and auto tuned music that doesn’t require hardly any talent. This is where it’s at. 🤘
Leslie - Look at me, I only look at the top 40 charts and determine that all music must suck these days, rather than taking the time to find something made in the modern day that I might like. I used to think the same way that you did before becoming more open-minded and taking time to discover artists that I liked that are around today. Seeing comments like this is just annoying.
Alfie 02 I’m only concerned about robert. Jonesy is as good as always. Page will be fine with a few weeks of rehearsals. Robert however might not be able to last another full concert with his voice. Zep songs are demanding. He should be ok though, but we can’t expect anything spectacular from his singing. Like he had a few pretty cool screams during since I’ve been loving you during celebration day, and other songs were sung as they’re supposed to be pretty much, but that concert was 12 years ago, so I don’t know if he’d be able to perform very well. He could do the bare minimum, but I doubt he’d be able to perform incredibly well at this age, let alone as good as he had on the celebration day concert
20 million people tried to buy tickets to this...let that sink in
Sam Jones damn! Seriously?
Hasun Rathnayake yes sir Google it
God forbid I lived in London at the time. I would've thrown bricks at windows and broken into the O2. Nothing would have kept me from that show.
True. 20 million. Truly insane.

Is he using two pedals at 2:11 ?
@@lebronjames2864 no, that's the beauty of Bonham triplets. If you listen to the album version of the song you can hear the bass much better.
he is barely adequate/mediocre. this show could be so much better with a great drummer.

I'll consider that some people are lucky! 😶
