This is the second video in the MasterClass tutorials for AudioScope. In this video we are going to look at Snapshots and a quick look at the live tools.
Your not the first person to mention this but I've had difficulty getting it to work consistantly which is why I end up with the arrows all over the place. Point taken though, and I will try and implement that going forward if possible.
Paul, please do not forget to do a [part] video on comparing current mix with a reference track. It is exceptional that this is available on iOs. Is it like a scaled down version of Pro Audio Dynamic Spectrum Mapper v3 (DSM) for Win / Mac?
any chance we can get transitions between snapshots to be like 16 bars?, with midimixer you didn't think it made sense but now you agree it's a live performance tool 😁
Hi Paul and thanks for another great product. I understand that snapshots are to save the state of all the mix parameters that are able to be controlled by AudioScope. Is it possible for a snapshot to also save (for example) the current preset in Synthmaster? What I am thinking about is the ability to change presets in an AUv3 by selecting different snapshots.
AudioScope has control over audio and really doesn't deal with MIDI. This is the kind of thing that MIDI layers would do, where selecting different scenes sends program changes for all the layers. To be honest this would really complicate what is essentially a simple to setup app, and only possible in AUM which is what I'm trying to get away from.
I certainly understand. I will revisit Midi Layers which I own but haven’t explored. Just out of curiosity, is what you are trying to get away from your apps working best with AUM?
@@djba I just wanted to avoid anything that would be AUM specific. In general it is not possible for a plugin to be able to control the host or its plugins. If a host has good enough MIDI routing (like AUM) then what you are proposing is possible, but I would be implementing something that is not generic.
All killer no filler. Thanks Paul!!
Good lessons 😎Thank you for your MasterClasses 🧙
Great product as always. If you allow me a suggestion, you could use a mouse in the videos, so we can see exactly where and when you click.

Paul, would you consider adding slower morphing options if that is feasible? Thank you very much for your amazing creations.
I will look into this as some want longer too.

I didn't base this on any particular app and I'm not familiar with the one you mentioned. The 3rd video will be coming early next week.
What happened to masterclass one all I can see is the pre release demo prior to this ?
Oops, for some reason it was unlisted, it should be visible now.

I will look into this one for a future release. I always planned a little more flexabity on this anyway.

Thanks Paul … I have already started rewatching all the videos on Midi Layers. ;-)
For me this replaces MidiMixer :)
Yeah, it is much easier to setup too!!
