And as you say they you can still loose your license! (I got nicked on the A3 last week going nearly 90! Dumb) mine has the original tonneau cover and the same cup holder! Looks like the same wheels too. Keep up the good work!

Way to go, Dom! Beautiful looking TT you got there..and I DO love the color and the blue roof as well. This brings me back to my first and only new car, back in 2001; Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T with the factory sports package..same drivetrain as this one, and you are right, for around town, they are loads of fun in 1st gear, unlike my 225 1st gear, which is almost useless, except in stop/go traffic. Pretty funny about the cupholder..obsession is alright with that ;) Looking forward to the other car reveal! Cheers from Washington State, USA
Gotta love a cup holder, probably useless in usa as drinks are like buckets there haha its a nice contrast with the dark roof and light paint, looking forward to getting some miles on it and having the roof down, beard in my face haha

Just bought a 150 convertible last week and so pleased with it. Some years ago I had a 3.2 V6 but that become a real money pit and we had to part. The 150 is more basic but has less to go wrong. Full service and near clean MOT history from the start. Very little to tinker with so well pleased with my new 19 year old car! No cup holders here though 😢

Allrighty! Also owned a 225 and 180 and now looking to a 150 that is in an incredible, not to say new condition... Imho Audio never equalled the MK1 desing with the MK2 & 3...
You will be pleasantly surprised by a re-mapped 150, you should see around 205bhp
being a k03s turbo. You also get the 312mm front brakes.
Really looking forward to getting it on the dyno and see what we can make

I suspect once you finish with it, it could be one of the fastest TT cup holders out there! I hope this little buggy proves a good purchase and looking forward to its future in your hands!🙂🙂🙂
Haha although I’m sure no one will believe me but I didn’t see the cup holder until I was driving off into the sunset with it 😂😂. It’s a great little car and looking forward to just getting it perfect again

Thanks buddy, i think they may have only been for the european market but i could be wrong, i think as numbers decline and less un less good ones are available the prices will start to rise, the cost of parts is on the up as they are starting to be obsolete

I love my 150 roadster, same colour, also with cup holder and tonneau cover. The boot is massive without the rear diff taking up room, you cant swap for a twin exit exhaust though, because of the spare wheel well. Interesting to follow and see what power gains you might get if you start tweaking this one 👍🏻
Loving all these 150 owners sharing their experiences. I didn’t think about the rear axle / exhaust clash good shout mate. It’s a slippery slope when you start tuning haha. Looking forward to seeing what we can make from it though
The 150hp 20 valve turbo engine are perfectly fine I've got a video on my channel of a W.REG Skoda Octavia Estate engine code AGU Which in my opinion is the next best thing to the BAM code . Ive got this skoda octavia estare DOING 135MPH then we have to break as we are running out of runway😉 it gets up there rapidly
Haha love it mate. Often people just look for the biggest power model and disregard the lower options, these are great little cars, and a right bargain at the moment

Spacers and lowered on the 16” I recon could look smart and you still have the comfort of the fat tyre. If I was a betting man it’d be a v6 manual? Keep up with the content matey.

Guessed it was the 150, and what a cracking little car they are. As you say, vastly underrated for no discernible reason. They may lack BHP, but they're lighter. No quattro, but unless you live in the wilds of Scotland, how often do you call on it anyway ? AND they have a spare wheel ! Smaller wheels, but cheaper tyres. You can swap out the single exhaust for a twin if that bothers you. Other than that they are identical to their big brothers. Honestly, if Audi had made a non turbo (can't stand them) automatic version, I''d seriously consider it.
Well done, first to correctly guess i believe! they are a fab little car and hopefully making a few videos will put them onto people's radars and give them the respect they deserve

I find my 190 FWD much more comfy than my 225 quattro roadster holds the road really well too. Not tempting fate I hardly have anything go wrong with it not like the 225 roadster.

Question please excuse my naivety but do they do mk1 convertible hardtops or are they all soft tops ??
You can buy a lift on / off metal roof for the roadster. Usually sell for £1000-1500
@@TheParrottBros oh I had no idea that makes the soft top more of a viable option for myself because I just can't stand the soft top look I take it the Roadster also comes in the 180 horsepower as well?

remap and its ~220hp :) all essential parts are same than 180hp. I blew my ajq 180hp (~220hp remap "stage1") engine (oil/bearing problems), then just dropped 150hp aum and no changes to ecu, works better than ever and pulls, nice "70hp gain" :)@@TheParrottBros
