i love how you can hear the low woodwinds in the Trio. it fills my heart with joy. i loved playing this in Symphonic band. Sophomore year was a great year for band.
Im a member of Coppell Middle School Band. we were texas state honor band in 06-07 and we are trynig for state this year again! I play Trumpet TRUMPET OWNS ALL!!
We are playing this song for Concert Contest. I am 1 and 1st chair trumpet. We had to play the 1st and 2nd stain off last Friday. So I decided to play the whole thing off.
We recently retrieved this sheet to play, and I must say that it is amazing! Even if I'm just the Baritone Saxophone in the background, the overall combination is beautiful.
So for UIL we played this, Adrenaline Engines, and Joyful Journey. We got sweepstakes, but not only that we are the first junior high to get 8 CONSECUTIVE SWEEPSTAKES IN A ROW! GO INDIANS
Played this song sophomore year in band. Now I've graduated high school and I'm trying to relearn this on my flute lol. It's one of my favorite peices that we've played and I'm glad I kept the sheet music for it. Doesn't sound the same without a full band, but it still sounds pretty on my flute
I'm a freshman clarinet player. And oooh boy this piece is quite tricky to play since I have to play them high notes. It was really fun to march while playing this though! The trio is my favorite, it's just so beautifully played aaah my geeky band heart ❤
Just got this song today, and is very hard with all of the Eb's on 1st trumpet. I like the song alot though. The optional last note is freakishly high. I've only played one song that had a note like that and it was "my home's in alabama". Love this song!
I played this my freshman year in high school! We brass always dominate. It got real on the second part of the trio when the brass come in! It always does. I'm a trumpet player currently at UAB. Go brass!!
I Playy Thiss Songgg In Skool Andd Is Hardd Becausee I Playy Thee Baritonee Andd We Gott Somee Highh Notesss N We Gott Thee Melody! Baritonee/Trumpett Playerr yeahh!(:
Omg yes, I played Trombone King my freshman year and we're playing Peacemaker March this year. I immediately thought of Trombone King when we sightread it!
Kelsey Greene yeah, in my 8th grade year we played trombone King, and now in my freshman year we're playing peacemaker March, we just got our music for it. so I never knew that we would play this when I commented the original comment.
Dude I played peacemaker in 7th grade and I play French horn but I know a bit of trombone so I jokingly tried playing this and I was actually able to play it
Kia why ever not, I rather enjoyed this piece when I played in 6th grade, but if you don't like it that is totally fine with me. After all we each have our opinions and I respect that.
Thank you! I couldnt play it at first cuz this is what i had to play my first time back in band after not having my instrument after two years! But now i love playing this songg~
i have to play this on a horrible trombone in a huge honors with only two of us did i meantion its one of 8 new songs we have to learn without our director still Challange accepted
@raventribble i very highly doubt it. if this was a MS version it would have the same title it'd just be watered down and more simple. also i don't think King ever expected his marches to be played by MS and HS bands xP
We played this in band and I was the low brass section. My teacher eventually put me on a tuba so the rest of the band could be heard... kinda sad how one bass trombone player can out play 300 people...
Everyone saying they played this in middle school, and im here a junior in highschool in the highest band playing this piece.
SneakyASFD Yat my schools Honor band played this
SneakyASFD I'm currently learning this piece lol
I'm in 8th grade and we are playing this
SneakyASFD I’m in 8th grade and we r learning this and we can play through it

i love how you can hear the low woodwinds in the Trio. it fills my heart with joy. i loved playing this in Symphonic band. Sophomore year was a great year for band.
thats crazy, I'm a sophomore playing this in Symphonic band too!
I can distinctly hear the saxophone part and I LIKE that, since I play the tenor...BRAVO !
Tenor Saxophonists ftw
I play tenor also
RIP Baritones at the beginning of the trio. I guess this version doesn't have them play there.
Tylarr Throm OMG BARITONE PLAYERS
I played this in band and it was towards to higher wind players during the trio. (Part 1,2 clarinet, part 1alto sax, flutes, oboe.)
When you play Trombone King at school and then play this in summer band camp. I think I like this one better.
Can't hear trumpet🔥🔥🔥
@@marioluigijam3612 facts, though this one is good too
Im a member of Coppell Middle School Band. we were texas state honor band in 06-07 and we are trynig for state this year again! I play Trumpet TRUMPET OWNS ALL!!
This song is kick ass on the snare
Zarrakon yes
I’m a freshman playing this on snare for band and holy shit is it fun
I love this song, just wish my trombone section would actually know how to play their instruments.
Don't be salty lmao this piece is kinda difficult
As a trombonist, who has played this. This is VERY difficult. Don't be so hard on them.
+Live My Legacy I mean they suck at every song tho. They asked our band director what position c was once....
+提艾儿艾弗提伊艾儿 OMFG PRAY, They beginners, and we marched this song during halftime, and it was on fleek👌🏽
Lmao ikr only me and my other 2 peeps that know how to play this
Who else has to march to this
I love this song... I had to perform this piece at my band camp
sounds like the trio is missing a piccolo >:c
Played this at the all west tennessee honor band this year. One of my favorite marches!
FOUR SCHOOLS PLAYED THIS SONG AND THEN OURS DID SO FIVE AND WE WON OUR DIVISIONSWKWOWOWOOWOWOWOWO
This is my favorite song march ever I play the trumpet and the 1st part is soo cool luv the song thnx Karl L. King for making such a beautiful peice
We are playing this song for Concert Contest. I am 1 and 1st chair trumpet. We had to play the 1st and 2nd stain off last Friday. So I decided to play the whole thing off.
Played this my 6th grade year. Had 1st trumpet and man it was a killer!
Dis my jam!
I can the bari sax clearly! I love that!
We recently retrieved this sheet to play, and I must say that it is amazing! Even if I'm just the Baritone Saxophone in the background, the overall combination is beautiful.
hey our marching band played this for our last year marching season. it was fun!
I play 1st clarinet for this music. It's a jaw-breaker. Literally. The notes are stinking high!
So are we. Just got it today.
I have to play this song on my fLUTE FOR MARCHING BAND OHMYGOD
• Nessie lol sane but IN baritone
same but for trumpet
We're playing this in Concert Band ^^ It's awesome.
I play Tenor Sax. I have almost the exact same parts as Trombone though
Wow, this was a lot faster then I expected it to be!
Good song one of the best so far that i like in trombone👍
My marching band song
So for UIL we played this, Adrenaline Engines, and Joyful Journey. We got sweepstakes, but not only that we are the first junior high to get 8 CONSECUTIVE SWEEPSTAKES IN A ROW! GO INDIANS
Pixl Matrix what state lol
Oh waxahachie
Not true in Texas one junior high got 12 consecutive sweepstakes in a row
mcdonalds wifi probably waxahachie
What city are you talking about?
I play the tuba and I love marches in general and this one is no exception
Played this song sophomore year in band. Now I've graduated high school and I'm trying to relearn this on my flute lol. It's one of my favorite peices that we've played and I'm glad I kept the sheet music for it. Doesn't sound the same without a full band, but it still sounds pretty on my flute
Oh this takes me back to freshman year of highschool, this was my first march, I played bass clarinet
I'm a freshman clarinet player. And oooh boy this piece is quite tricky to play since I have to play them high notes. It was really fun to march while playing this though! The trio is my favorite, it's just so beautifully played aaah my geeky band heart ❤
Wow can't believe I forgot about this masterpiece! Pain in the ass to play but it was hella fun
im supposed to be marching this next year. It beats this year's march!
THIS SONG IS THE BEST BAND SONG EVER!!!!!
Our jazz band won sweepstakes
This song was so easy but so fun to play as a side song in my high school marching band cx
Go brass!!
I'm playing this tune now in band and my band SUCKS at the trio
I still prefer mallets, snare, or bass. I like to keep rhythm, and the sounds that the marimba and xylophone are to calming
+Tanner Barton Really? the Trio is probably one of the easiest parts of the piece.
Tanner Barton haha mine too shit
i took the bass clarinet and transposed it to my bari sax. i always loved the bass trio
were playing this song for uil in like 2 weeks
I love this peice.... so dark.
We're playing this! And it's sliding great(middle school saxophone player) a lot of people ask us why we play it but,we like a challenge.
hahaha love this song. i played this in my 7th grade advanced symphonic band. it was beast
I'm one of the best in my band and this song is one of the best
We should have played this song in my 8th grade year for competition >.
great march felt so proud to play 1st cornet
i waz the only 1st cornet so i had to hit the last B-Flat an octave higher
great peice, was my high school's march last year. never figured out the trio though....
Playing this on the 24th! Only flute (8th grade) in the Palmer High School concert band! 6 in Symphonic.
I Playy Thiss Songgg In Skool Andd Is Hardd Becausee I Playy Thee Baritonee Andd We Gott Somee Highh Notesss N We Gott Thee Melody! Baritonee/Trumpett Playerr yeahh!(:
sounds like trombone king
Omg yes, I played Trombone King my freshman year and we're playing Peacemaker March this year. I immediately thought of Trombone King when we sightread it!
Kelsey Greene yeah, in my 8th grade year we played trombone King, and now in my freshman year we're playing peacemaker March, we just got our music for it. so I never knew that we would play this when I commented the original comment.
Sounds like peace jubilee march
It may just be me, but peacemaker is basically the easier version of trombone king
Dude I played peacemaker in 7th grade and I play French horn but I know a bit of trombone so I jokingly tried playing this and I was actually able to play it
i like how the bari sax played out
OMFG WERE MARCHING DIS N ITS FREAKING FAST!!!!
Last year the Honors Band at my school Scored a 1 on this piece (1 is the highest and greatest score) and got Sweepstakes
UIL?
yes
OMG were also playing this march
I'm in 8th grade 1st clarinet and I'm not thrilled about playing this piece.
Kia why ever not, I rather enjoyed this piece when I played in 6th grade, but if you don't like it that is totally fine with me. After all we each have our opinions and I respect that.
Jones Music lmao
Kia lol try being a person with 2 parts Baritone (Europium) and French Horn. XD
Kia I’m 1st chair in 8th grade and I’m not very fond of it either
same
very beutiful piano
Almost all the songs we play are by this guy am in a marching band uil contest is the 18th we play henderson felid also made by him
Theres some clarinet or something thats a smidge longer than everyone else in the intro and it stresses me out
I hope I play this song for my 8th Grade year, I enjoy the tone of the music!
We are working on this peice right now! Such an amazinggg song to play!
Thank you! I couldnt play it at first cuz this is what i had to play my first time back in band after not having my instrument after two years! But now i love playing this songg~
It's a tune there's no words so therefore it's a tune
+wmd titan sorry hitler
im playing this for uil TROMBONE POWER!!!!
It was very good until the trip, second time through. The trombones were WAY out of tune! Still a great piece performed fairly well.
Middle skool flute player! Were working on the trio right now. :)
1:52 best part
im a tuba
this is easy
#TubaTime
BibahMax yes my band is playing this piece right now and that is the best part
@@tonymacaroni04 it's me. Oh yeah yeah

0:00 Begining Measure 1
0:34 Middle Measure 22
1:06 Measure 39
1:22 Begining of Trio Measure 54
I gotcha flutes🕺😗💅
Heh heh I love how all of Karl King's songs are generally the same. xD
Karl king copied trombone king but I still love his song
playing this in middle scool
What school? Because were playing this also and there's a guy named david garcia so I'm just wondering...
@greenbandgeek7 u forgot tenor sax. he also has the melody with baritone in the trio. and the melody with the trombone
This song is not hard. Why is everyone saying it's hard?
+Nathan Hoffman mighty mite is harder imo
It's difficult if you only get 3 days to practice it and you're an 8th grader. R.I.P me.
afreshrainx try Invictus or Circus days, Invictus i did in 7th, Circus for contest now
How about playing klaxon
You people will beg for mercy 🙃🙃
afreshrainx It's difficult but fun to learn lol
You can't hear the euphoniums during the trio :(((
Which part? Measure 55? 73? 87? Because in the way I play it, the euphoniums come in on beat two of 85 and then goes to the end.
+The Covers of Selzar the very beginning part of the trio
mushcake56 lol yes you can in a way
Me too it makes me mad:( I love euphonium bc I currently play it 💔
XxHype_BeastxX same :3 it makes me kinda sad too
Honor band people should know how to play this
I'm tryna learn this song for band (I'm in honor band but im in 7th grade
) and i guess it's difficult for me since it's cut time and its pretty fast
i like that he used musical motifs from the trombone king
sounds alot like freeworld march my band played this concert season 2010
@raventribble yeah and karl.l.king likes to use the same notes for his songs
@raventribble i very highly doubt it. if this was a MS version it would have the same title it'd just be watered down and more simple. also i don't think King ever expected his marches to be played by MS and HS bands xP
i agree, even though im a trombone player myself
may sound like that but that is the volume they have written in compared to the flutes ect..
I'm a trombone player and it's my favorite instrument, but at 1:56 they are blaring way too loud.
You can never blast to loud 😉
Terminator 1,000 Sorry, too loud isn't in my dictionary
but we're trombones
And one player is consistently not playing Dflat
Who cares. It's just music. Go with your heart and play like a real trombone player
I love playing this song. Becuase you know why? i play trombone. and trombones rock. unlike flutes. xD justtttttttttt kidddding.... or am i?
@raventribble trombones for the win!!!!!!!!!
Trio starts at 1:22
We played this in band and I was the low brass section. My teacher eventually put me on a tuba so the rest of the band could be heard... kinda sad how one bass trombone player can out play 300 people...
@raventribble nice i play tenor trombone i played in 7th now im in 8th but i played 3rd trombone in this song
@raventribble although they do have the same ideas O: so it may be one never knows
if u listen very very closely, u can hear sticks being dropped
At what time? random times?
It is always nice to hear an American march that wasn't written by that other famous, utterly-predictable Victorian bandmaster.
And I know it doesn't matter if it's Middle or High but what is this song meant for?
1:22
@Barcelona4028 2 weeks and got it today (freshman clarinet)
Now take it at 140.
Anyone else hear the Legend Of Zelda at 0:10 and 0:26?
lol when you still don’t have the trio part down on trombone and the football game you’re playing it at is today
@MisieRandom321 hey me 2. tenor sax rocks
got this 2 days ago lmao its ez :]
Do you know what level music this is?
