I want to thank you guys for these types of videos. I have a music project and i needed to show the four families of instruments in the orchestra being played and your videos are perfect for them. Thank you
if I were to compare the brass instruments to the string instruments by the sound and tone to them trumpet - violin french horn - viola trombone - cello tuba - double bass
The french horn or horn as they want to refer to that now has always been my favorite sound to hear, it's featured in a ton of music scores for movies, but I've heard it's very difficult to play.
Yeah there’s usually 3 or 4 valves (sometimes 5) but I started learning a simpler instrument, the mellophone in my schools marching band which gave me enough experience to start buzzing and making decent noises in the horn, so it’s mostly just practice and memorization that help you get better.
Hani Al I'm a euphonium player, and bass instruments aren't actually that hard. It's easier for me to hit an F on a euphonium than trumpet, and wind capacity usually isn't a big problem because it's so easy to change notes with such little wind.
I am a tuba player and it was hard st first because of the size. Well...in the video the range that the player is playing is the basic range. Tubas can play lower than a piano (E lower than the A string) and can also play the highest note that a flute can play, which is a C.
I went ahead and liked all of the euphonium comments (the ones that were spelled correctly at least). I see this too often. There's a video that introduces 'all' of the brass instruments, yet it NEVER mentions euphonium. That bothers the heck out of me.
Is this saying something troubling about brass players? I'm reading the comments and the misspellings and mistakes here are literally worse than the comments on a typical hip hop video.

trumpet - violin
french horn - viola
trombone - cello
tuba - double bass
so true
i'd say a euphonium is more similar to a cello, but they left it out:(
Euphonium is often referred to as the brass cello, but it has the same range. I'd say euphonium is more cello like due to its mellow nature
Ummm the actual "brass cello" is the Euphonium, not the Trombone
Flugel - viola

Oh. Was "French Horn" racist or something? xD
@@MGSVxBreakpoint Nah it was just not drippin' since the amogussy was not bussin
It is pretty hard because you have to put your hand into the bell while you press those 3 valves.
Yeah there’s usually 3 or 4 valves (sometimes 5) but I started learning a simpler instrument, the mellophone in my schools marching band which gave me enough experience to start buzzing and making decent noises in the horn, so it’s mostly just practice and memorization that help you get better.
It’s a little more challenging due to the partials being close together, but incredibly rewarding as you continue to improve on the instrument
I love how the trombonist played a french horm solo.
“Ride of the Valkyries” is typically played by the French Horns & the trombones.
The French horn, Trombone and the Trumpet are my favorite.
Could you add the brass instruments in another video? Baritone, Euphonium, marching brass instruments, the tuba in the other key, etc.
Baritones, Euphoniums and Cornets: what about us
This really helped me discern between the brass instruments in the SNES developer kit.
Tuba seems like a painful instrument to play :)
Hani Al I'm a euphonium player, and bass instruments aren't actually that hard. It's easier for me to hit an F on a euphonium than trumpet, and wind capacity usually isn't a big problem because it's so easy to change notes with such little wind.
dumb ass...it was talking of the nuts! hahaha
Hani Al it's not
Hani Al not really. It’s easy to play but it is heavy as hell. (I know this becouse I’m in a Band)
im a tuba player

Zeke Lowery I play flute it is so loud
Tuba can’t play that high
Cornet, euphonium/baritones, soprano/alto/small bore/ bass trombone. Where are they
What about Cornets, Baritones and Euphonium?
i find this brilliant but i also find this very funny especially the guy playing the trumpet looool, maybe its because ive changed my sleeping pattern
No mellophone?
No baritone/euphonium?
The Trumpet guy is actually playing a Cornet and not a Trumpet at all.
yeah he is
That looks a little big to be a trumpet..
It looks like a tiny trumpet. I know what they look like :P
it's normal trumpet but pitched in C so the main tube is a bit shorter than in the most common trumpet pitched in B
Wojciech Górski I thought most trumpets were in Bb
Trumpet (Brother)
French Horn (Sister)
Trombone (Mother)
Tuba (Father)
They forgot the EUPHONIUM!!!
Euphonium is tuba
At the start of the French horn my brother thought I turned on baby shark
We're is the baritone
Tania Parra if u mean a baritone sax then all I can say is a saxophone is a fucking woodwind
Reggie the Schnauzer fuck off is that the only type of baritone you know if so you're sad
Reggie the Schnauzer you seem a little confused, he’s referring to the baritone horn otherwise known as the euphonium
EC_Save Saxophones are considered *BRASS*-wind. Not woodwind.
French horn is beautiful.🔥
how about the euphonium ?
Rephael 1 bb
Euphoniums always getting neglected :'(
Rephael 1 not in orchestra
Butterhead! `
*cries in band*
I KNOWWWW
I like uphoniumes even tho I play a bass clarinet

Would've been great if these were in order of pitch
I went ahead and liked all of the euphonium comments (the ones that were spelled correctly at least). I see this too often. There's a video that introduces 'all' of the brass instruments, yet it NEVER mentions euphonium. That bothers the heck out of me.
What about Euphoniums?
What happened to the euphonium or baritone horn
What is the music played with the trumpet?

Is this saying something troubling about brass players? I'm reading the comments and the misspellings and mistakes here are literally worse than the comments on a typical hip hop video.

So who's here for there music homework?-
what is this filmed with a macdonalds toy!
And isn't that trumpet a cornet?
Noah D no That is a trumpet cornets have key like thing on the side not on top there for a trumpet
Patrick Star Youre thinking of a rotary valved trumpet. Cornets have a feature of a wide U shaped tuning slide. That there would be a C trumpet
Looks kinda like an eb trumpet differing from the modern lead pipe design
FRENCH HORN IS DA BEST
you forgot the bugle
No where near them all euphonium cornet tons more
This video triggered me bc it said brass and obviously baritone or euphonium is a brass instrument and go ooooo French horn
Nice video for education! :-)
