I did! It required an analog to digital adaptor. Works pretty good but I didn't calibrate it perfectly. Never bothered to try again because I don't drive the bug much. Can make a vid if you want.
@@477racing Did you start with zero miles or did you set to match current , cause here in Vegas thats what we have to do with speedo change an i heard Dikotas can do that so im askin ;) and is that a trype 4 set up? love your bug i have a 72 blue n white super on 17 fuchs w/1776
@@RodderFiles I started it from zero miles - I am not really sure if you can set the mileage. In Cali it doesn't matter, especially for a bug. With the stock odometer only able to roll to 99,999, who know what my car's true mileage is! It is a Type 4, but I have pulled the engine to sell it and I am putting a pretty basic type 1 back in for sale.
@@conquistadorchoppers9283if you google exactly that, you’ll find the ‘adaptor’ on all the usual bug part websites. Once you have it wired, the gauge had a couple speed calibration options.
I seen the German Shepherd and clicked! LOL, Great looking gauges!
Did you ever hook up the speedometer? That's the part I need!

@@477racing I know its been a while, but... Where did you get the analog to digital adaptor from? Do you have a link? Thanks!

what brand is your tach in the center? very cool
It's actually a Porsche 914 tach. They're pretty easy to find on eBay, which I think was where I got mine.
