Yea man honestly the climate is good here, like a lot of these cacti will continue to grow through most of winter some will go dormant but some will also just keep pushing through. If I was in a country with a cold winter I would just invest in a giant greenhouse.
I have a 12 x 8 greenhouse and the cost of keeping it frost-free in winter was eye-watering. When the cost of electricity more than doubled here that was the end of everything I had in it. I lost over 15K of orchids. I only managed to salvage seven cymbidiums.
