Dragon fruit fertilization schedule over the course
of an entire year
1- Beginning of January..
Adding organic fertilizer is supposed to be added before January, that is, in the winter, but if not, you can add it in January, preferably liquid from fermenting the fertilizer in water for two days, then dilute and irrigate with the diluted liquid..
2- In February, we start watering with humic acid every 15 days, and then we spray 15 days later nbk 20..20..20..
3- The month of March is the start of preparing the fruit for fruiting.
We start from the beginning of the month by spraying chelated iron every 25 to 30 days, focusing on raw phosphorus or bird manure, especially pigeons, which is very rich in phosphorus, and do not forget to spray a fungicide from half the month..
On the 20th of March, amino acids or a growth regulator (Cimix, Cytokin, or any other growth regulator) is sprayed. An alternative to fertilizer is yeast with honey. And of course, 6% magnesium is sprayed once every 25 days, alternating with calcium. Continuously until June.
4- Month 4, from the 1st day of the first month, every week, a spray of phosphorus, and once a spray of potassium, every week, a spray of one type, so that we can start preparing the plant from the beginning of the season..
Irrigation is increased relatively.
5- In May, phosphorus is reduced once every 15 days, and humic acid and diluted hydrogen peroxide are added to rot the roots.
During this period, no nitrogen is sprayed, whether organic or chemical.
6 - With the advent of June, iron and calcium are added alternately with each irrigation or every week to prepare the tree to bear flowers and fruits until the end of the month. Recommendations and fertilization of dragon fruit trees..
********This is a comprehensive schedule for fertilization**************
preparation for the flowering season and completion of the contract for dragon trees begins as soon as the fruit harvesting season is completed, usually after the end of October, by
1- Thinning and pruning in order to reduce the stress resulting from the production season
2- Spraying a fungicide immediately after pruning (systemic)
3- Stirring the soil surface
4- Mid-November: Fertilization with amino acids and microelements (zinc, boron, copper, molybdenum, manganese, chelated iron).
There are products on the market that combine these elements, and they are in liquid form. They are particularly necessary at this time to compensate the plant for the minerals it lost during the production season and to compensate it with sufficient carbohydrate reserves to overcome the winter dormancy period.
Dosage once = 100 ml per 100 liters of water
After two weeks, spray once = 50 ml per 100 liters of water
5- Organic fertilization begins in December.
• Pigeon sabul is primarily fermented for 4 days, then the resulting product is diluted and quenched with it
• Place local fertilizer on the surface of the soil and mix it with a little sulfur. This cleanses the fertilizer of fungi and warms the soil during the winter season.
6- January
Irrigation with macronutrients (N.P.K) balanced 20 - 20 - 20 = 500 grams per 100 liters
After 15 days, spraying is repeated to serve (vegetative growth - strengthening the roots and working to warm the plant - and supplying food)
7- February
Fungal spray..
