What size tweeters can I buy? I usually see 3/4” tweeters. 3/4” seems really common

Got my supposed EOM tweeters off ebay and one of them are about 2x louder than the other now. I wonder if they're counterfeit or seconds. Too late to return. Sucks. Also, the little vent grids in the dash facia plate all crumbled and fell out from dry rot of being out in the sun. My dash looks like hell now.

Could be bad speakers or the flex wiring in the door jamb is broken.
installed a new Pioneer MC5500 single slot. Blew the speakers the same day lol. What do you recommend as a good replacement for the dash speakers? What about the door speakers?
The door speakers I replaced with Alpine's I don't remember the model numbers but they we're a direct replacement. As for dash speakers the only ones I know that fit are the ones that I recommended in the video but I don't know if they are still available.

Thank you. Yeah, there's no reason to disconnect the battery; you're just replacing speakers.

Hey Martin, went to that site for the tweeters but everything on the site says it's not orderable. Everytime I try to add it to the sales cart. Maybe you can check the site and let me know if it is just me or has the site discontinued it's business. Maybe you have a number? Thanks for your WJ videos. They are really helping!

Are you they powered by the door speakers or connect to the radio separate ? I don't think either one is working on the dash at this time .

I don't understand what you mean by the green and black wires this is simply Plug & Play unplug the old speakers from the connector and plug in the new ones.

replaced front and rear door speakers,tweeters in the front dash and new head unit,everything works great except the dash speakers.i traced all the wires and there wired up right,but they will not work.checked everything,so im stumped

+Dan Acton I am unfamiliar with the ZJ's. I didn't know that had tweeter speaker in their dash. So I couldn't say.

+Dan Acton Dan I was at Pick a Part today and checked out the ZJ's. The install would be similar but the tweeter is different. Look like the ones that are in the 99-04 are larger and would not fit.
