- My first time playing a Metal Gear game and it is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
This video is the entire game with cutscenes and boss fights! I edited out the mob fights as to make it a bit shorter.

hey guys I decided to make the metal gear playthrough into only one video since its a short game :) I edited out all the mob fights so it only contains boss fights and all cutscenes

I just realized, we're so used with "meme" nowadays that meme meaning turned into only "stupid, funneh things done by some-to-lot" while it can be other things including ideas and ideals.
That is the original meaning (and still is one of the meanings of the word "meme"....always has been)

This game actually has two dlcs, one of which is for Jestream Sam and how he became a member of the winds of destruction.
yeah I played the dlc and got kicked rly hard for playing Sam as if he was Raiden lol
The Armstrong battle was ahead of its time.

There's an MGR Revengeance 10th anniversary event at the end of the month. They say it's an art reveal but we all willing to bet that there's some sort of announcement for either a remaster or a sequel

You kept looking away during Armstrong cutscenes and missed stuff
It's because that's what ignorance looks like. When you don't like what you hear you block it out.
Therefore. The truth falls on deaf ears.
Armstrong is saying some extreme things as well. But he's talking about the true freedom of man and not the illusion of freedom
that people call "the American dream"
And the best way to keep people in that illusion is to keep them wanting and needing to have people fight amongst each other and to keep them entertained with media and their obsession with celebrities.

Raiden proved him right where he embraced his murderous side and walked his own path even if it's filled with bloodshed however raiden doesn't have to hide himself or conform to what society considers normal anymore.

(At 10:20) you should be less worried about dodging and more focus on parrying attacks. You CAN block and counter-attack.
You have to hit those rocks or whatever it is to cut them on Armstrong's final fight

To answer your question those are repressed thoughts and emotions, it's a nod to Metal Gear Solid 4 my memory may be a little sketchy on the details since I was a kid when I played the game but it basically went like this.
In MGS4 the war economy was thriving thanks to invention of many products in advanced technolagy, specifically in nanomachines, the idea was anyone who signs up was injected with nanomachines which would register them on a matrix styled set of AIs known as The Patriots.
The nanomachines themsleves at first appearance provided a plethora of pros such as a, immunity to physical pain, a highly resiliant immune system and in speciel cases like Meryl she shared vision with most of her squad. But most astounding was the nanomachines appeared to eliminate strong emotional reactions, you could have a soldier torture someone for hours or have someone lose their entire squad in an explosion and they wouldn't even think twice on it thanks to the nanomachines basically monitoring his or her mental and emotional state.
Problem with that those the nanomachines didn't stop all those negative thoughts emotions from being developed like people thought they did, instead they only repressed and locked them away so when Liquid Ocelot basically deactivated the nanomachines in the system all those horrible thoughts and feelings, pain, grief and rage came flooding in at the same time. It'd be like if you relived every nervous and emotional breakdown and every horrible thought and feeling both big and small at the same time and this would often lead to fatalities as most of them, specifically the ones who had been in the war for a long time would lose any all cognitive function and just sadly regress to a screaming beast (pun intended) that would often frothing at the mouth.
Raiden also went through something like this in MGS 2 but his nanomachines mainly focused on keeping his memories as a child soldier repressed and slowly came to the surface once he was out of the Patriots' clutches.
MGR has a more watered down version of those nanomachines but they still have the same function of monitoring and keeping the mental and emotional states of their user in check.

A few things: the remaster wasn't out so I would have to buy different platforms to play which I couldn't and can't afford
it's valid to start from whatever place you want, instead of making it seem a bad thing you should encourage ppl to check the other games since they played revengeance instead of acting like it's a bad thing that they tried a game
@@ThatgirlNana Naaa i get it, i mean is funny because the Metal Gear franchise can be quite cheesy but this game takes it up to a thousand and somehow manages to make it work, so a lot of people would go on to the other games believing they are all like this lol

It's obvious you started with Metal Gear rising first and not the rest of the series. But it's okay because the rest of metal gear is very different compared to this.

First time i’ve seen someone actually doing good from the start without any prior knowledge, and actually engaging with the parry system. Most people brute forces it but fails 99% of the time on bosses.
