Genuinely I have to say this is my favorite trophy/achievement channel because of the rage moments. Outside of the laughs the rage is what makes everything completely relatable. We've all had moments where we've lost it so to then actually see the plat still being achieved is satisfying just about every time. Plus, like many people have been saying it's still great to see MGR getting love, one day I have to come back to this game and see if I can't clean up what I'm missing.

I used the infinite wig for my Revengeance S run because I played through it normally without the wig. Only one level made me go from “maybe I don’t need it” to “fuck this, all bets are off:” Sundowner’s level. Few things made me go into fits of psycho laughter as much as this.

its one of my favorite games of all time and I remember platinuming it on xbox back in the day~ I don't remember it being too hard, except getting all the S ranks on revengeance difficulty cause you need to do them without taking damage, and at some gimmicky encounters I had to follow guides how to get an S rank - and the only real rage moment I had is when I fought the double Grad boss over and over to get no damage, and when I did it, it didn't give me the no damage S rank and I threw away the controller - later turned out its a common bug, some people cant get no damage at that fight either even if they did it perfectly :D
Regarding your point about soldiers like Snake being irrelevant in an era of cyborgs, I think that was the whole point of MGS4. Snake was (physically) old, his nanotech enhancements were inferior, and the only reason he was able to keep up with his technologically advanced foes was his sheer combat experience and skill - and even that could be replicated with VR training. MGR takes place at a point in time where soldiers of even Snake’s caliber are obsolete. That’s why you don’t see any soldiers like him anymore - cyborgs have confined conventional soldiers to the dust bin of military history, alongside muskets, ironclads, and biplanes. Raiden’s feats in Rising also aren’t a huge stretch from what he was able to pull off in the MGS games. His cyborg body back then was able to spin around those bipedal mechs using just their wires, like they were made of styrofoam, and he could still block and dodge bullets. And before he had any augmentations at all, Raiden was still able to destroy multiple MG Rays in a straight battle.

That games plat was literally my favorite to have earned. Although I guess it may not be plat since I got every achievement on steam and not on Playstation. Of the bosses that I had the hardest time getting a not hit on though, I think it was Jet Sam I had the most trouble for some reason. I loved doing it though. Also, if you listen to the music it's actually all about the character's motivations and the like, fantastical score.

And have you already got the Ninja Gaiden series ones or would try to get'em one day ? I got PTDS while watching this. MGR platinum is without a doubt the hardest platinum I have gotten to date. And so much of it felt like unfair bullshit, like the VR missions. Still great game tho

Wonder if you’ll willing to try Pizza Tower, it has some pretty brutal achievements, and the game is just amazing, good gameplay, fire OST, hilarious humor and artstyle, it’s just perfect.

theres a weapon called the fox blade that costs 100k and it has an upgrade for 500k that lets u 1 slice any enemies except bosses. carried my Stormbringer achievement
(41:57) You need full meter to perform the execution when they're stunned. I also learned that the hard way during the bullshit the VR missions throws at you when trying to get gold

The reason for this is because this 3 platinum trophies are one of the hardest trophies i have ever gotten i had an easier time getting the plat for elden ring than getting the 3 plats for uncharted. I think you are gonna love monster hunter world it has a ton of fun monsters to fight against with many great move sets and it could be a great plat because that was the first monster made for Xbox and ps4

If I recall, the "reason" MGR is considered non-canon is because it's a "canonical spin-off", meaning that while it does take place in the world of MGS and after MGS4 specifically, the tone and setting are so far removed from the established formula of MGS. Yes, all the characters are canon, and the events of the past are part of the lore, but you can play the entirety of the MGS series and skip this game, and not miss a thing. Doesn't stop me from having a fucking blast on this game, fun as shit and still relevant with all of its references too!

@@GawdlikeMatt actually thinking about it 4 was insanely hard, especially when I didn't get the 50 hit combo on sundowner and had to do the entire mission again. If anyone is reading this that hasn't done it yet. MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SAVE.
Why is metal gear rising not considered Canon? "Why call snake?" He says, "When you could just get Raiden to do it?" Well Raiden can cleave the planet in half but if that's what ends up happening, everybody knows who did it. If you need to infiltrate a place or sneak around, you would go to Snake. Even though he may be the best in the world at what he does, there other people who can do sneaking missions. He's not the only person in foxhound or wasn't canonically at the time who can do a sneaking mission. Hell when we first meet Raiden in metal gear solid 2, he was doing a foxhound style sneaking mission. It was under a bunch of bullshit false pretense but he was still doing it and he succeeded, even if snake gave him some help. Let's remember though when something like that happens, yeah maybe it was Snake but maybe not. The purpose of espionage is for governments to have plausible deniability. They can go in front of the world and say "you can't prove it was us or that our agent that did that." W hen somebody lifts up a metal gear and throws it across the city, it probably was Raiden. This guy doesn't know what espionage means apparently. Also, When he talks about how Raiden does things that no one else can do, he's he's talking about picking up the metal gear at the end of the game, throwing it like it's a toy. It sounds to me like he's implying that Platinum games who develop this game just made up Raiden's ridiculous strength for only this kooky spin-off .This unga bunga caveman looking idiot seems to forget that in metal gear solid 4 Raiden canonically at The docks on Shadow Moses Island ,held back arsenal gear single-handedly until snake could get clear. Yeah, he eventually did get crushed under it but survived. Raiden canonically has that level of strength. So saying that it's not canon because he does ridiculous feats of strength is either him just being disingenuous or completely forgetting that happened.

The reason for this is because this 3 platinum trophies are one of the hardest trophies i have ever gotten i had an easier time getting the plat for elden ring than getting the 3 plats for uncharted. Oh and the extra trophies are horrendous 😂
Yes im quite aware of the brutal difficulty trophies, they may make for great videos someday i agree!

I just got all the Platinum Trophies for all the FarCry games on PS4 "minus FarCry 4 because the MP servers are off." Then I had a friend online challenge me to do all the Devil May Cry games including the 2013 game. Since I know you have the Platinum Trophies for all the Devil May Cry games is there any tips you could pass my way? Im dreading Devil May Cry 4 after watching your video on it..
congrats dood! and enjoy the dmc franchise. 2 and 4 are the worst, 2 because its a terrible game and 4 because its annoying af on the higher difficulties. If you've seen my videos on the games then you've pretty much already heard my best advice. Not much more I can think to say. Best of luck tho!

I think you are gonna love monster hunter world it has a ton of fun monsters to fight against with many great move sets and it could be a great plat because that was the first monster made for Xbox and ps4

If I recall, the "reason" MGR is considered non-canon is because it's a "canonical spin-off", meaning that while it does take place in the world of MGS and after MGS4 specifically, the tone and setting are so far removed from the established formula of MGS. Yes, all the characters are canon, and the events of the past are part of the lore, but you can play the entirety of the MGS series and skip this game, and not miss a thing.
Doesn't stop me from having a fucking blast on this game, fun as shit and still relevant with all of its references too!

@@GawdlikeMatt actually thinking about it 4 was insanely hard, especially when I didn't get the 50 hit combo on sundowner and had to do the entire mission again. If anyone is reading this that hasn't done it yet. MAKE A COPY OF YOUR SAVE.
Why is metal gear rising not considered Canon? "Why call snake?" He says, "When you could just get Raiden to do it?" Well Raiden can cleave the planet in half but if that's what ends up happening, everybody knows who did it. If you need to infiltrate a place or sneak around, you would go to Snake. Even though he may be the best in the world at what he does, there other people who can do sneaking missions. He's not the only person in foxhound or wasn't canonically at the time who can do a sneaking mission. Hell when we first meet Raiden in metal gear solid 2, he was doing a foxhound style sneaking mission. It was under a bunch of bullshit false pretense but he was still doing it and he succeeded, even if snake gave him some help. Let's remember though when something like that happens, yeah maybe it was Snake but maybe not. The purpose of espionage is for governments to have plausible deniability. They can go in front of the world and say "you can't prove it was us or that our agent that did that." W
hen somebody lifts up a metal gear and throws it across the city, it probably was Raiden. This guy doesn't know what espionage means apparently.
Also, When he talks about how Raiden does things that no one else can do, he's he's talking about picking up the metal gear at the end of the game, throwing it like it's a toy. It sounds to me like he's implying that Platinum games who develop this game just made up Raiden's ridiculous strength for only this kooky spin-off .This unga bunga caveman looking idiot seems to forget that in metal gear solid 4 Raiden canonically at The docks on Shadow Moses Island ,held back arsenal gear single-handedly until snake could get clear. Yeah, he eventually did get crushed under it but survived. Raiden canonically has that level of strength. So saying that it's not canon because he does ridiculous feats of strength is either him just being disingenuous or completely forgetting that happened.
