On August 29th, 2015, I embarked on one of the toughest journeys I've ever experienced. 100 miles through the Cascade Mountains through the worst Summer storm in the history of the Northwest. I battled my inner demons, anxiety and physical exhaustion in hopes of achieving something special amongst the evergreens.
The Cascade Crest 100 was one of the toughest physical feats I’ve ever attempted. But running 100 miles isn’t a singular effort but a cumulative effort of those surrounding the runner.
