  • Krista and company offer mindfulness/running retreats: (adventuremindful.com/). In September of 2016 Krista Olson (daughter) and Bob Loomis (father) decided to run the Pine To Palm 100 mile race together. They had never previously run this kind of distance. This is the story of their race. With the stellar support of accomplished ultra runner Timothy Allen Olson (Krista's husband), as well as other family members, Bob and Krista successfully complete the entire race and tell an incredible story of perseverance. Grab your snacks, get comfortable, and watch their adventure unfold.
🏃‍♂️ ℹ️ 🏃‍♀️The Pine To Palm ultra marathon is no joke. It's a remote and rugged classic point to point course traversing the Siskiyou Mountain Range in Southern Oregon. Starting in Williams, OR the course winds it way east to Ashland, OR on a mixture of single track trail, dirt road, with less than 4 miles of pavement. The course boasts over 20,000 feet of climb, 20,000 feet of loss, three epic climbs to 7,000 feet, and fantastic views of Mt Shasta and Mt McLaughlin.
🚀 Krista and family offer mindfulness/running retreats: (adventuremindful.com/)
💪 Timothy Allen Olson is a two-time winner/record holder of the Western States 100 miler: www.timothyallenolson.com/
🏔 Retreat Info: Retreats exploring deep connection to nature, beautiful trail runs, and mindfulness meditation. Bring your passion for running and nature beyond the trails into mindfulness in your daily life. Run Mindful Retreats are life-changing experiences that focus on:

📣 Krista and Tim say: We are so excited to announce our next Run Mindful Retreat in Southern Oregon on May 25-28, 2023! The last few months have been a big transition for our family as we moved back to Oregon to a beautiful 12-acre property in the forest and mountains of Southern Oregon. This community and land is very special to us and it is with heartfelt openness that we welcome our Run Mindful family to our new home!! This is a first for us as we'll be holding the retreat right on our property and sharing our personal mindfulness practices and rituals from our backyard. We can't wait to share our new home trails and community with you - this retreat is looking to be one of our most special offerings!

What a beautiful film. My daughter and I ran her first half marathon together when she was nine. Now she is 15. Maybe one day she and I will run 100 miles together.

Any race is so much like life, joy, pain, doubt and suffering. We get to decide each day how or if to continue. Congratulations.

Any distance race is a war of attrition. A true test of how much pain you can withstand and it really is a beautiful thing.

So amazingly special. I was very close to my Father who passed away 2 years from a rare form of cancer. We had always talked about climbing Mount Theilsen together, that unfortunately did not happen. What a wonderful relationship.
