      Why does it feel like my breathing is heavy now that I've stopped smoking? Ive been smoke free for 12 days now cold turkey. I don't have a lot of money so I couldn't join your step by step program. I quit with the mind set it was healthier but I really didn't want to quit besides that. Now I tend to fight with myself. I watch these tips you have included and follow them step by step but even though I really want to quit and would never go back I still have this feeling of wanting to only because I quit wanting to smoke. Any tips on how to get passed that? I tell my self daily I don't want it and I really believe it but my craving mind won't let me get passed it. I wanna tap into that mind power and even though you have explained how I still don't fully grasp how to do so. Im a god fearing man and believe through him all things are possible but when its time for faith its like it leaves me unintentionally. I tell myself Im a non smoker and I don't want to smoke but that craving mind comes back over and over how do I make it stop permanently. Like I said its only been 12 days and I know it takes time I just want to know how to ease the process. Please help...

    I smoked at 20 years old until 52 yrs old, so it has been 32 years of smoking. Then, I began to hate the smell. I'm tired of washing ,brushing, and gargling to remove the smell of nicotine, so I researched how to quit smoking, and I did it. Then, just one day I woke I don't want to touch it and hate the smell . That's it I quit

    Feeling anxious combined with feeling stressed is my top reason for smoking.
    My current final quit date happens to be April 15 2020 I have been reducing to quit.
    So far I have managed to not mindlessly smoke my cigarettes.
    I love your videos thank you Nasia Davos.

    I quit smoking cold turkey back on Christmas Eve 2021. Your videos have been inspirational in my journey. I still watch your videos to inspire myself to not go back to smoking. My only reason to quit smoking is because smoking is detrimental to my health. Thank you for posting these videos. They are by far the best on the internet. I know cold turkey is not for everyone. The physical addiction withdrawal is initially difficult but goes away fairly quickly. It's the mental addiction that is an on-going challenge. It takes much longer to reprogram my mind especially for a habit I enjoyed for 45 years. Just think if not now then when. I would highly recommend that people who find it impossible to quit to subscribe to the full CBQ method.

      HOW DID YOU QUIT I FEEL LIKE I CAN DO IT I ALMOST WENT A WHOLE DAY JUST SMOKING 2 OR 3 CIGARETTES THEN I HAD NONE SO THE NEXT DAY I DIDNT HAVE ANY I SAT OUTSIDE FEELING LIKE WHAT SHOULD I DO I DONT WANT TO SMOKE BUT THEN I GAVE IN AND WENT AND BOUGHT A PACK YESTERDAY MORNING AND ONLY HAVE 4 LEFT FROM THAT PACK TODAY AND I HAVE TO QUIT BECAUSE OF A HEALTH ISSUE THIS IS STRESSING ME OUT SO BAD

    • @luplew1444
      @luplew1444 Рік тому

      @@teeyonaechols3934 I had noticed myself wheezing while out jogging for a couple of months. At first, I ignored it. Two days prior to quitting, I felt congested prior to going to bed. I decided that the smoking was not helping so I quit as of that moment. After 2 days on Dec 24th, I broke down and bought a pack of cigs at noon. As I was smoking my 3rd cig at 6:30pm, I started thinking "what am I doing. i'm killing myself". I gave away the rest of the pack and have not had a cigarette since. I no longer whez when I jog. I started coughing up the congestion within 2 - 3 days after quitting smoking. Health is the most important asset one has. Do not give in. Cravings only last for a few minutes. The first couple of days are the hardest. Then it's all downhill from there. Cold turkey worked the best for me. I jog 4 -5 days a week and go to the gym 2 - 3 times a week. I eat healthy. Live a healthy lifestyle.
      You can do it. Getting down to 3 or fewer a day is over half the battle. Just set a quit date and stop. All the best to you! Watch Nasia's videos for motivation and to stay motivated.

    Dont hang put with people that persist you have a cigarette( Indirect No to smoking) I like you talking about acknowledging the thought of smoking vs resisting. I do that with may other thoughts, it never occurred to me to use it to quit. I have found sitting in silence, letting whatever thoughts come pass by. As I do this, the thoughts slow way down. I have a deeper inner peace by doing that.

    What about starting anti-tobacco activism? Become passionate about destroying the tobacco industry. I definitely think there is a conspiracy to kill people off. And of course old fashion greed is a factor. Tobacco and vape companies and stores don't care if they are making people sick and sending them to early graves. "Hate" can be a very positive emotion when it is channeled against bad behavior. I don't mean hate the people; I mean hate what they are doing.

    Biggest mistake I ever made, was to quit smoking. I got fat. I gained 140 pounds. I went from a slim 135 all the way up to a pot belly 275. I got kicked out of the navy for being obese and I lost my retirement. I developed severe sleep apnea and became a borderline diabetic. Had I known I was going to get fat like this, you best believe, I'd have never quit smoking. And to top it off, it was a very tough thing for me to do
