When you want to go further on the path of our 1.83m Dutch Valkyrie Queen Floor Jansen besides Nightwish, here is some background information on her you maybe not know yet. Floor joined the band 'After Forever' in 1997 at the age of 16. Here are some of my favourites:

Floor attended the then new Rock Academy in 1999 and graduated in 2003. She also studied 2 years at the Conservatory (1 year Music Theatre and 1 year Opera). 'After Forever' disbanded in 2009 and Floor started her own band 'Revamp' from scratch. Here she experimented with different vocal styles within one song. Here are some examples:

Besides managing a band on her own she also did a lot of vocal coaching and as she is a perfectionist, she wants to do everything at 100%+. Eventually she had to pay the price and got a burnout. She had just recovered when end of september 2012 the call came from Nightwish to fill in for the remainder of the North American Tour at first as their second singer Annette got ill. Floor joined Nightwish after the iconic Wacken concert as permanent member of the band. Floor continued to perform with 'Revamp’ also for a couple of years, but it became clear that she could not combine the two for much longer, so 'Revamp' disbanded in 2016. Her stunning performances on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers 2019' gave her at last some more recognition in her home country where she was relatively unknown until then. As live concerts were cancelled and home isolation due to the Covid situation, Floor discovered UA-cam in the last year and a half and uploaded many interesting videos on her channel. Floor her name is derived from the Roman Goddess of Spring, Flora.
Floor Jansen is called the Valkyrie Goddess of Metal and Empathy. Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 4 octaves (Eb2 to F6)
She can sing from classical to belting and raspy vocals like screaming and death growls. And she's also a voice coach and teacher to boot.
Floor Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she gave singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016.
From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. Nightwish's second studio album with Jansen as front singer, Human. :II: Nature., was released in April 2020.

I can't think of any reaction video I have ever watched where the reactors were so much louder than the song and spoke more during it than the vocalist was singing. All you have to do is pause the video instead of saying "hear that" over the video so loud that we couldn't hear that lol.
Hello! I subscribed back when you did the review of "Shallow". Thanks for getting back to Floor. Two comments: 1) Floor is capable of singing in a number of different genres, so the trick in making recommendations to reviewers is to try and determine what kind of genre they prefer listening to, and then recommend a song where Floor performs in that style. For example "Shallow" is an example of a softer, more popular (think Lady Gaga and cinema) style, while "Oblivion" is more of a Hollywood, movie theme song style. My preference is for a powerful, belting style, so I like to go with songs such as her cover of Lara Fabian's "Adagio" at ua-cam.com/video/KZRHLLM6AU4/v-deo.html, or Floor sings "Que Se Siente" from the Beste Zangers ("Best Singers") Dutch TV show at ua-cam.com/video/DfYeLUoqw0E/v-deo.html. --- 2) The latter song is sung in Spanish. I know that there are a number of great singers that fans clamor for reviewers to react to (Dimash, Adele, etc.), but Floor has a special attribute that I believe entails an extra bit of respect, especially from Hollywood. Floor can speak *FIVE languages* . She can speak *English* as we can; *Dutch* (she was born and raised in the Netherlands); *Finnish* (the Nightwish band are all from Finland, and Floor lived in Finland briefly and learned Finnish to be able to participate in band discussions); *Swedish* (she currently lives in Sweden with her Swedish husband and they speak Swedish at home); and she is currently learning *German* in order to be able to participate in the upcoming spring 2022 German TV show "Sing Meinen Song", which has a similar format to "Beste Zangers" but is in German. And the "Que Se Siente" song is in *Spanish* . So she can speak *5* languages and sing in *6* . I feel that is entitled to some respect, even if she couldn't sing A NOTE ! So I hope you have a chance to get to some more Floor or Nightwish again soon ! Keep well ...

No offense, it's kinda hard to appreciate the artists talents while you talk over her performance. It's your channel, and I appreciate your enthusiasm, but maybe pause a little.
How can you evaluate a song and or performer when you constantly interrupt it with an off the cuff comment every 5 seconds or so, it seems to me that you prefer the sound of your own voices (comments), to the subject matter you are supposed to be reacting to. Sorry, but I'm afraid I'm a music lover. Save the comments for the end of the performance, or at least stop the song THEN give your reaction/analysis to it.
