Covering Oblivion might have been the most fun I have had creating a cover so far. The epic, electronic vibe together with the dreamy vocals of Susanne was a perfect opportunity for me to adapt and perform in my vibe! Hope you enjoy! Comment what you would like to hear next! Sure, And this one is great by all means. But it is different, not better than the original. It brings different vibe. This song is not meant to be standing out with powerful voice you know . So, some respect for the awesome original is required:))

In 2013 , M83 , composed the original music for the sci- fi film Oblivion , which has Tom Cruise , Olga Kyrilenko and Morgan Freeman to the protagonistic roles. And that song was one of the pieces they 'd written ... The original song was sung by Suzanne Sundfor . Was an absolute hit !
Floor 's recreation cover of that song , took it to higher level... Really loved the original 2013 song by Suzanne's high and emotional voice , but adore it very much from the queen Floor Jansen ! 🤘

The massive, galactic instrumentals plus Floor's great voice equal the flood of tears every time this video plays. I can't wait to hear what she covers in her next video but I think it will be hard to top this one.
I say that every cover she does and she just keeps pumping out a better cover every time. This one will be tough to beat. I have seen the movie but don't remember the song. Now it is one of my favorites. Hats off to M83 for this perfect Floor song. LOL
@@seannightingale3571 Yeah "perfect Floor song" isn't it just though lol. Floor says they will start touring again very soon. I live in north Texas and I missed them when they played San Antonio several years ago. I hope I won't miss them if they play up here. We have two of THE BEST Symphonic halls in the nation in Dallas and Ft. Worth and they might just fill one of them this time. They might play outdoors like Wacken which would be great as well.

The original singer is a Norwegian Susanne Sundfør and it's from the scifi movie "Oblivion" (2013), starring the action hobbit Tom Cruise. This is an excellent cover with some more weight and lot's of Floor's vocal colouring. And cool room with Genelec studio monitors, handmade in Iisalmi, Finland - about 100 miles from where i reside (sorry, a little patriotic ad 😔).

Fun fact for you to know, the guy that hav done the music for her on this and an other cover for Floor is Tommy Johansson. I have seen that you have check a couple of different groups that he have been involved in in some or an other way apart from that he is one of the guitarist in Sabaton, he have also done something that he could Swedish hits goes metal, and Reinxeed, he was could Tommy "Reinxeed" Johansson back then. But it's more with this guy, you also have seen him in Golden Resurrection on guitar, and then he have a side project on the side of Sabaton where he play guitar and sing that he could Majestica. And when you react to Above The Sky by them Susis reaction was priceless when she heard his voice. Keep up the good work, Peace.

I can't decide between Adagio or Oblivion as my favorite Floor cover. I am convinced once Floor covers a song it now belongs to her. Every song is better than the original. She needs to do a song for the next Bond film

Those are skateboards the 4 holes in each end are to mount the trucks, snowboards have more holes for the bindings.

She's great, but there's a lot of producing on her voice. The original on Jimmy kimmel with Susanne Sundfor is more impressive imo. A much more stripped back raw vocal performance.
Should listen to the original instead, Susanne Sundfør is better.
