I also would emphasize the live singing of her, beautiful. It's almost perfect. This is the hardest part of the live performances. BUT. All the other "instrument", effect, vocals you hear is partly the job of the "sequencer". The sequencer is the principal for the "studio" sound. It's important to mention that;)

@John Doe Actually the feeling that I get is quite the opposite. While Susanne sings I feel that her voice has no such thing as limits. That she can sing with a powerful voice, without struggling with it, in a really natural and comfortable way for her.
I'm Norwegian (same as her. Born in the same small town), and saw her live once. Her angelical voice has no limits. Her vocal span is much higher than she sings here. I was literally speechless for days when i left the concert, and I talk a lot :D And I'm also a singer.
I truly believe very few on this planet can actually sing. Everyone can sing, like everyone can learn to swim, but true singing can’t be taught, the kind that touches the soul on another frequency. And Susanne is one of the 1 % that can do that. You make us proud girl! 🇳🇴

Susanne Sundfor has an incredible voice. M83 nailed this. Great movie too, one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies of the last few years. Love that flying pod that Jack Harper flys throughout the movie. That machine was so cool and futuristic. I bet that future flying machines will no doubt take clues from the design of that machine. Some type of new propulsion technology. And that house/base that Jack and Vica worked/lived from was incredible looking as well. I'd love to have a house in that design, including the pool underneath!

this live performance very emotionally overwhelming. i found this right after hearing Floor Jansen's cover. i have to admit this live composition is flawless and Susanne's particular vocal style/tone is a better conduit for expressing the emotive intent of the piece. an unbelievable performance.

From the moment I first heard Susanne sing and it was this track at the end of the movie at the Cinema, I am spellbound at Susanne's voice and have been hooked on her music. I was so privileged to see and hear Susanne and her artistic team at the Barbican in May 2018, with War and Mountaineers that has similar moods to this track. Again a standing ovation to Susanne and her artistic team. I cannot wait to hear Susanne again and this time prepared to visit the wonderful country of Norway.

I think the studio version was closest to perfect. The background music was better. You could hear the drums more, they sounded more powerful, ominous.

One of the most amazing Natural voices of all time, goodness and this was live there’s not too many people I know that can do that. M83 truly knows how to compose a song with euphoric and hair raising feelings. What a phenomenal score !!!!!!
