    I’m well over a year on the implant. I haven’t had too much side affects but the weight gain I have had is completely crazy, no matter what foods or exercise I’m doing or eating I can’t shake it. This is a common side affect I didn’t notice the difference in my weight and appearance until it was too late…

    This video title triggered me lol I had it in my left arm for 3 years and it caused irregular periods too, but also insane depression. I had to beg to have it removed after being put on happy pills. So I’m VERY happy to hear you haven’t experienced that!! Thank you for sharing your experience! Also, girl you’re lookin like a whole snack🍟❤️

    I have been on nexplanon for 4 years now and I had no issues however I did experience minor side effects like pain in my arm for up to a month after replacing my first implant but overall I have no issues to be concerned about and I would recommend it if you are someone who isn't good at taking pills.

    First I just wanna say that I'm just gonna be talking about my OWN experience with the implant. I don't wanna discourage anyone. I just wanna put this out there in hopes I'm not the only one who feels this way. I feel alone almost. I've been on the implant for about 7 months and I can honestly say that I never knew how much missing my period would affect my mental state if that makes sense. Feels so weird to say that. I was never on birth control before so of course i would get my period regularly and i would always complain about it. I got bad cramps, heavy bleeding and the most tender breasts. But now I don't feel in touch with my body anymore and that has been messing with me. I know its normal to get irregular bleeding or none at all being on the implant, but for some reason it's really been messing with my mental state because of the side effects I have. I have been feeling my PMS symptoms for about 3 months now and no period. I don't know when I'll get it and the not knowing while having these symptoms have been so mentally draining for me. I have reached out to my doctor so let's see what he says!

    I just got mine inserted today. I already have 2 kids, so I was desperate to find a affective birth control, other than the pills. (I have two kids, I don’t have time for all that) I’m just hoping and praying it doesn’t affect me to much 😫

      Update: I got my Nexplanon taken out a month 1.5 after getting it. 😮‍💨 The headaches and long periods were not it, plus I always felt on “the edge” I was sooooo moody.

      @@TheParisB I feel like I was bleeding all year. I was spotting more than not having anything come out actually. I was extremely emotional. I cried at the thought of things. I had it for 3 years.
      I got it reinserted and the doctor inserted it differently than the first time.
      I had to take it out a few months later because i was really on edge I just felt like I wanted to scream. I got it out and have normal periods and my emotions are more leveled niw

      @fentsemoyana3198 10 місяців тому

      Heyy bae ,I think if you've done the whole STI screening with your partner and you trust them and you're monogamous then you're good not using a barrier method as it's effective but there's still that 0.2 % so....
