Mandatory conscription in Poland is suspended since 2010, not cancelled.
Słuszna uwaga
Not gonna lie, whoever translated the jokes did a good job. This was a rough one to keep coherent.
Exactly. That was a really good translation.
Thanks man, appreciated :D
Do you think so? I found it not very accurately translated in some places. Not even the name of the battleship was correct. "ORP Grom" should be translated as "HMS Thunder", not "HMS Lightning".
@@d.l.3530 its no fun to translate it literally. I didn't find any British warship of the class named HMS Thunder, I know very well of HMS Lightning, hence the reference
@@Pan_Damjanek O, zrobiłes tłumaczenie?
Aha, chciałeś, żeby rzeczywiście istniał brytyjski statek o tej samej nazwie. Teraz rozumiem!
I had the dubious pleasure of participating as a potential conscript in such a meeting. It was much funnier, especially since it was true.
1st conscript - Robert Górski, author of the sketch and leader of the KMN Cabaret
2nd conscript - Rafał Zbieć
3rd conscript - Przemysław Borkowski
Army officer - Mikołaj Cieślak
Cieślak 💖
I have a suggestion regarding a future video that you might like. There is a Polish artist that does solo and group shows, and you won't need any translations for him. The artist's name is Ireneusz Krosny and he's a mime. Before you say anything about it being a little lazy, let me tell you that this guy has probably an absolute power over his own body. He sometimes does things that you wouldn't believe. And his humor is clearly Polish in nature, despite him not saying a word.
My only advice here, should you be interested in reacting to Ireneusz Krosny, is to make a compilation of several of his shows, like 2 or 3 of them in one video, otherwise your own reaction videos will be pretty short.
Really recommend him. That guy is hilarious.
The name (Kabaret Moralnego Niepokoju) "Cabaret of Moral Anxiety" is modeled on the name of the movement in Polish cinema (Kino Moralnego Niepokoju) "Cinema of Moral Anxiety". One of the representatives of this trend is director Felix Falk. He made a film about the Polish army from the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, "Samowolka". This movie is on YT.
I'm Polish and I was "forced" to join the Pilish army. I hated it first, but I liked it later on, as I was more itno it. Eventualy I live in UK, and if I knew , I end like this I would rather sign up and stay in the army. I could be retired by now after 25 years of service. Now I stuck in some bloody warehose in L'pool.
Dziękuję za poranną dawkę humoru.
Well spotted connection with "Black Adder". The best comedy show ever made. :)
One of my favourite KMN videos 😂
the one in Gdańsk is ORP Błyskawica (lightning) and it's not an battleship but a destroyer, ORP Grom (thunder) was sunk during WW2
Grom class destroyers, designed and build for Polish Navy by british shipyard
ORP Grom (Thunder) and ORP Błyskawica (Lightning)
There was also ORP Piorun (Thunderbolt/Lightning Bolt) an N-class destroyer lend from Royal Navy
It helped with Clydebank defense against luftwaffe blitz, and later it took action with searching Bismark and spotted it and engages as first destroyer, while signaling it "I am a Pole". In 1946 it was returned to Royal Navy as HMS Noble.
There are two great movies "Samowlka" and "Kroll" that show how did it look like to be in the army in the early 90s. There are very brutal and honest but worth to see it!
Dzieki tobie przypominam sobie stare skecze
The names of Polish destroyers can be a bit confusing when translated into English. During World War II, we had destroyers named OORP Grom, Burza, Błyskawica, Wicher, Orkan and Piorun, if I remember correctly. And the translation is roughly as follows: Thunder, Storm, Lightning, Wind, Hurricane, Thunderbolt.
ORP not OORP
@@BB-hx4mj ORP stosuje się do jednego okrętu, OORP oznacza okręty.
@@kofeMW To nie robi sensu. ORP oznacza Okręt Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Co w takim razie oznacza skrót OORP?
@@BB-hx4mj Okręty Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.

I can't wait your reaction about Ani Mru Mru sketches about king and peasant, chinese restaurant, blind date, and even ventriloquist
Fajnie, że tak swoim tłumaczysz polski humor ,
jest jaki jest.Cieszę się,że starasz się to zrozumieć
It's in the same style as "Izba wytrzeźwień" - one my fav, but I'm not sure how it would survive translation.
Fala w wojsku istniała za PRL-u i ta sadystyczna praktyka przeciągnęła się w na lata 90-te, kiedy jeszcze była zasadnicza służba wojskowa.
I recomend KMN - " History of World " serial 😄.
.... And pantomime man Ireneusz Krosny - e.g. " A knight and the princess " 😆 , " The evolution of dance "😄, " The conductor " 😄.
Blackadder was hilarious XD . Thanks for reaction. 🙂
Old times...
HMS in Poland is ORP (Okręt Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) 🙂
OORP (Okręty Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej) if several warships are listed successively.
Super!!!❤
Prosiłbym o przetłumaczenie dla niego któregoś skeczu z kabaretu Hrabi 😅
I love you Man😂😂😂😂😂
Black adder is Czarna Żmija and is genius when i was 13-45
ORP „Lightning” is Błyskawica by the way. ORP “Grom” is Thunder…
Ireneusz Krosny - W Filharmonii.
You will not be disappointed 😁
Missing a foot toe is proper reason to be rejected in army. I know at least two who were rejected for that. Cheers!
Were they wobbly?
@@seeker_-_ phantom pain
your muscle can cramp but all not only in feet
your finger can cramp too and puff !
The worst thing is that it was true.
In the army they are not nice to you for one reason... when you are captured by the enemy and he tortures you, you feel at home.
Fala- "Wave" "Samowolka" 1993 r. Polski film fabularny. ua-cam.com/video/GX8zw8NPa-I/v-deo.html&ab_channel=OSPAA92
Grom - thunder
Maybe you could record your reaction to the Limo cabaret...?
Ja zawsze myślałem że chodzi o grupę GROM.
11:14 in *Gdynia
11:15 - ORP "Grom".
Noticed the scroll down and that the original video is unlisted. I dont get it. I'd like ti be able to recommend these original subtitled videos to some friends and I was baffled why I cant find them. Turns out they're unlisted I guess. So they're just sent out to people for reactions or what?
Richard Sharpe, and Blackadder
oh yeah
The Black Adder Rulezz :):)
the thing is, all 18-19 year old males in poland have to get tested once, although the service itself is not mandatory, I went through this in high school and got category A (fit for service) lol
Some texts may be incomprehensible to a foreigner. For example. The world-famous symbol of peace on the T-shirt of the Polish army is a symbol of the missile forces. I don't know, maybe this symbol is also in the British Army. And ORP Grom stands for Ship of the Republic of Polish.
It was a bad translation ORP Grom means HMS Thunder Lightning is a different ship
🤣😂🤣❤️🇵🇱
What a strange world. I'm watching Englishman watching cringe kabare from early 2000's from my childhood. And he's kinda like it.
I think most are brilliant
@@RobReacts1 Be careful, polish humour is a rabbit hole.
dopieor przez ten film zrozumialam dlaczego piosenka na falochronie ma taki tytul, a nie inny😨
Remember my time with such commision and it was not fun. I did really do not wanted to waste year of my life as some inimportant infantryman. Not to mention "the wave" - a coulture where "old soldiers" were bulying new ones, sometimes seriously bad.
01:45 That's precisely why is it this way. When you know that they are forced and can't escape, you can do whatever you want with them and they're unable to complain. Total domination.
07:58 Wow, seems like your UA-cam recognizes gestures :J
rough xD
Ostatnie słowa Borkowskiego jeden komendant Policji chyba wziął zbyt dosłownie.
antycypował, wyprzedził swoją epokę!
4:37 - 4:44 there is twice an allusion to the vulgar name of the female organ in Polish, which we already find in Sanskrit. Rob, I bet you are aware of this. ;)

Obejrzyj KMN, SMS po angielsku.

not remission of lungs but atrophy of lungs... that´s a word the translator should use :)

This is so unproper...
Huj. Coś niewłaściwego 😉
Stupid youtube shows polish subtitles in options but i see only english ones lol
It's really tricky to do the subs because half is polish and half is me in english
@@RobReacts1 yea but it should be polish when you speak english lol. i blame youtube not you
Kabaret Skeczów Męczących - śruba
Słupno,zima2002
Brilant
The translation is mediocre, because many details are missing. It is worth mentioning that the soldier's song "Godzina 5:30" (5:30 Hour) is played in fragments in the background. , it was sung in the 90s when the army in Poland lasted about 2 years
I mean, technically both UK and PL have mandatory conscription to the army in case of war etc., it's just that we lack mandatory military service so nobody gets taken outside of a defensive war.

I like Kabaret Moralnego Niepokoju. But let's face it Rob, it was a poor performance.
Good actors, but weak script. Especially in English translation.
It could be done better. Not as funny as other cabarets I know.
Good job Rob!
I remember my commission...
What branch of our armed forces do you wish to serve?
I'd rather not, but if I must , I prefer tanks...
Oooo! You watched to much Czterej pancerni I pies!
No colonel . I'm just lazy. If I will be forced to fight, I'd rather do it in sitting position...
What I've got? Tanks, sure, but in 6th Pomeranian airborne.... man... one of the hardest units in Polish armed forces...
😂😂😂👍👍👍
Polish warships have the prefix "ORP" which is means - Okręt Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej - "Ship of the Republic of poland". For example: ORP Piorun "Lightning". SO translation to the HMS "His Majesty Ship" is completely ridiculous as Poland have no monarchy.
dlaczego znowu bez napisów?
They aren't easy to do. UA-cam doesn't pick up very well. I will try now
