Thank you for these kind words my "Loopin' Brother";) For me...it all starts with "creating the groove"...first. And the reason is simple: Getting the "rhythm" to be "correct in timing" first is just like the "drummer" laying down the beat for us guitar pickers to "join in" with therefore our "rhythm" follows the "beat"...with "feel";) If you have ever tried to get the drummer to "follow" your right hand groove as a guitar player when the drummer is playing the "wrong groove" or fluctuating on the "timing"...it typically is very "difficult" to "change" his "musical mind" once he "starts" his playing. My "Looper" is my "drummer"...with me "creating what" I want the "drummer" to play first...so I can "play" to the "groove" the drummer is providing. A "foundational beat" is the "building block" for 99.9 of my loops...therefore keeping "time" with a "groove and feel" allows me to have "fun" with my right hand regarding "rhythm & feel" in addition to the "groove" the "drummer" is providing;) Thank you again for your kind words and I am enjoying your loops and playing...keep them coming and I am glad to see your channel growing & people enjoying your musical efforts as I am;) My prayers to you, your family and friends...Sincerely I am...Dan;)
