the intro story is among the best in movie story telling, there is...
This film always has and probably always will have me in tears. It’s just so beautiful and done so well.
i couldn’t agree more. this one is easily a new pixar favorite for me and always will be 🥺
@@kaylyptic try "Inside Out" not as good than the intro story, but overall even better....
I’ll look into those!! Thank you :))
I knew that Mr. Frederickson was a widower from the commercials. So when I saw this movie on a flight out to Vegas for the first time, I was crying from the moment they introduced his wife as a child, and quite a few other moments along the way too...
I still cry every time I watch it. This is my favorite animated movie of all time.
"NOT ALLOWED TO DIE 🤬"
One second later
"She died 😭"
Funniest shit ever I swear lol
This movie really bullied my emotions 😭
Same. I know that's supposed to be an emotional scene, but the way it was edited here completely flipped that emotion upside-down into utter hilarity.
This is one of the movies that shaped my humility as a kid into an adult. I just hope we get more movies like this to show my children…
The Gray Leader bit is hilarious. A callback to Star Wars with the different colored squads but dogs are colorblind so most colors are gray haha
Don't forget red car, blue car... gray car!
It's a funny joke, but dogs aren't achromatopsic; they can see more than just black and white. They see everything in blue and yellow, just not red. You can find pictures online of what this looks like, it's pretty cool to see. Even just "what can dogs see" would net you some good pics on images
Hello, airplanes in a battle are in a " Dog Fight " These pilots were dogfighters!.
In my opinion, THIS movie & Firefly have the BEST movie intro sequences there are!
Such awesome visual background / storytelling done so smoothly.
Animated movies like this & Wall-E just RIP the emotions out of our tear ducts. SO darn good!
And let's be honest, EVERYONE loves Dug.
Don't apologize for the crying.
We watch for the emotional reaction, that includes crying.
It helps us relive the experience ourselves.
21:09 - *“[…] I'm so sorry that I cried **_so_** much; it's probably embarrassing to watch.”*
What do you think *_we_* were doing? 😭
She's watching Up, after all. Being embarrassing to watch because of crying isn't an issue at all. Rather, we'd be perplexed if she weren't. Heck, 99% of the time when it comes to emotional scenes in movies, I remain practically untouched (I'm a man with the stereotypical "men don't cry" mentality), and Up even got to me during a couple scenes.
Never thought anyone could talk more than Ellie You proved me wrong lol
Very happy to see a new reaction channel. Can't wait to watch with you!
I’m so glad you enjoyed watching! Thank you for your support :)
@@kaylyptic do you have a list of movies you plan on reacting to? Can't wait to see more
@@carsonwroten6867 Yes! I’ve got pretty much every Pixar movie on the list, and some Disney classics as well. I’m planning on watching all Marvel movies, and I have the rest of John Wick on the list. I have Kingsman, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Shrek, Puss in Boots, Narnia, How to Train Your Dragon, and I even have some horror movies on the list as well. I’ll stop there or else my comment will be ages long 🤣 But I’ve got a pretty good and long mix planned and I absolutely cannot wait!!!
Seen this movie tons of times, as qell as reactions, only 2 minutes into the video ellie brings out her adventure book 🥺 instanly made me tear up lol
I've watched this movie so many times with my nieces and nephews and you actually gave me new perspectives that I didn't put together, because I was too busy crying or laughing throughout the entire movie!
Don't apologize for crying, it's very cute 👍
You're adorable!!! This movie destroyed me in theaters when it came out. I cried in the car on the way home (my mom took us and drove because I don't drive) but I even cried when I got home in the garage. Then I cried in bed... Oh, and I'm a guy and I am a sobber when I cry.
Dug was gnawing on the tennis ball to give him the idea of using it to distract Muntz' other dogs gaurading Kevin.
The first 10 minutes is like hitting a brick wall with a car going at 100 mph with no seatbelt or airbags.
Young Ellie is voiced by director Pete Docter's daughter by the same name. Previously, she and her brother Nick were among the kid screams in Monsters, Inc. and she was the inspiration for Riley in Inside Out.
Dug and Alpha are voiced by Bob Peterson, the co-director, who have voiced Roz in Monsters, Inc. (which he reprised in Monsters Univeristy) and Mr. Ray in Finding Nemo. Dug's line "I just met you and I love you!" came from when Peterson was a summer camp councelour in the 80's and a kid said to him "You're my camp councelour, we have just met and I love you!".
Pete Docter himself did the vocal sounds for Kevin and voiced the Scout Master at the Wilderness Explorer Awards at the end.
3:23 -- that little gesture always gets me. It's his way to keep Ellie alive.
16:34 -- that part of the book BROKE me, when I saw it in theaters on opening day.
This movie wrecks me every single time, even watching reactions. I fell apart watching it in theatres for the first time. Nothing can prepare you for the first time watching this masterpiece.
The ice cream parlor that they played the car game at is actually a real place in Oakland, CA which just happens to be very close to the original Pixar studios in Emeryville.
I've seen this movie so many times, and I always laugh and cry. The comedy is great and then, well not tug at your heartstrings more like yanks them into knots.
5:10-5:25 best explanation of what the beginning of this movie does I’ve ever heard 😂😂
Wow, you're the third reactor now who's mentioned that the developer suits look like aliens 🤣😁
And I don't know if you noticed, but Alpha was at the ceremony, still in the cone of shame 🤣
* Random mouse noises * Love it!
This movie brings u down to bring u up to a new level of happiness
The many locks thing is because all elderly are always afraid robbers can get in. I believe its universal accross countries and continents.
Lol love this reaction... Def made me enjoy the movie even more just to see you in your feels.
Btw just found you watching interstellar. Now I'm going back through your videos. Stay awesome
I don't think they had a miscarriage, i think she couldnt have children at all (its why they never tried again) .
Makes you think. All Carl wanted to do was make Ellie happy in life and he thought taking her to paradise falls was it. Then when he’s reading the adventure book, he realised that she was always happy because they were together
The little boy helped him crossed his heart.
7:26 "Such _typical,_ wilderness-explorer _behavior!"_
It's also very typical of characters in movies by Disney and Pixar.
That bird is one of those south American rainbow murder birds.
Hi just wanted to suggest a Japanese anime film for you. It is called....Your name. It is considered a truly beautiful masterpiece of a film as you will understand why!! Also the theme song at the end is famous too. Please watch it in Japanese....I think its better!! I hope you love it as much as I do ok!!😊😉❤👏🙌🙏👍🎉
Nice one, Kayly! 😊
Just so you know, she didn’t have a miscarriage. The issue was that she was sterile.
What makes you think that?
Why would anyone go through all of the work getting a crib and decorating a room before getting pregnant?
@@Gutslinger Because they could just try again if she simply lost the baby through miscarriage.
And the answer to your second question is because that's just what people did back then culturally, especially before sterilization was fully understood pre-70s.
It's less sensical to just give up having a kid because you lost one through miscarriage than building a baby's room while in the process of impregnation.
Cute reaction
thank you!! :))
Great reaction! Since you cry (sad or happy cry) easily, you probably shouldn't watch "Wall-E", "Monsters Inc." or any number of other Pixar movies. Although I would highly recommend that you do - they are incredible movies.
Monsters Inc. is my absolute favorite along with Finding Nemo 🥺 I really want to re-watch Wall-E again because I technically have seen it, but it’s been a very long time so there’s not much I remember. I’ll make sure to grab the tissues for that one!
Childhood movie :(
I hope you cleaned all the shit off your heart before you put it back in lol.
I like your necklace
Love your honest reaction, but a little bit too much talking for my liking. Too much continuous talking. Thats probably just because of the way it's edited lol. I do really appreciate your genuine reaction tho!
Haha, thank you! I had to edit it this way. The previous 3 times I tried to upload this video, it kept getting copyrighted. Although it seems like there’s no break in between my thoughts, it was the way to be done
@@kaylyptic oh okay that makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to give me a response. 💛
12:54 "I do not _like_ the Cone of Shame."
🤔 How did it come to have that _name?_ The only thing it does is stop you from lickin' your _stitches._
3:55 Ever heard of the Boy Scouts? Groups like that aren't just about scouting and camping, they often try to instill values and teach people to serve their community. They have rewards and specific badges for good deeds and charitable activities.
Um, have you seen Wall-e yet? It was before Up and it is just as good, but don't forget the hanky.
I reallyyyy want to revisit Wall-e soon because it’s been years since I’ve seen it 🥺
You would be great at CinemaSins.
Wow you tal a lot.
Hi
you realy need to play carl and russell silent game
Yet another UA-cam reaction channel where talking fast and loud seems key.
I'm sure you're a nice person.
But look up "empathy" when you have a spare monent.
Good luck!
When I see this kinds of reactions I became like Wade of Elemental 🥹😭
"This film is comedy gold"
*Me, knowing the married life montage that's about to hit* 🥲
